I think what you ordered is is pretty much how I would order it.

Really? Yeah. Okay. Well, have a seat. Okay. So, I did get you very healthy. If you did your own sandwich, what would you have on it?

I I would probably pick out the same thing that you picked out. Pretty close. Yeah. Either turkey or maybe like chicken breast or something like that.

Oh yeah. That's delicious. I figured you were pretty healthy. I mean, pro athlete. You gotta keep in shape.

It's hard in the season because we we travel so much when we go from city to city, restaurant to restaurant, always eating out. Buffets. So, it's kinda you have to watch I do. Cuz I'm a bigger guy, so I definitely have to watch what I eat during the season.

Because you said you're healthy. Yeah. And you only eat bad at a buffet? Right. But I have to actually spy. Oh no. Maybe. Let's see what I find. Yeah. Okay. Bye. Beer. That's not mine. Um How'd that get in there? Sour cream? Light. Hold on. Cream cheese? Is it light?

It was probably there when I moved in.

No. You can only buy them in Canada.

Really? You see the you see on the bottom, the uh the drink on the bottom. Clamato. Yep. Canadian. Only get in Canada. All right. So, you know what we're gonna do right now?

Your indent is bigger than mine. So, you just kinda go like that. You didn't even make a dent in the thing. It didn't even like compress at all. This is amazing. Now, when you're watching TV in here, what are you watching?

Right now, it's uh American Idol.

Really? A little bit. I never would have pegged you for American Idol.

I don't Yeah. I I'll be honest with you. I don't watch it that much.

Are you are you okay? Are you comfortable?

I'm so comfortable.

Are you okay? I'm actually This is the best interview ever. How great is this? Started with the Devils, Montreal Canadians. Yeah. Then the Edmonton Oilers. Then the Dallas Stars. Now, you're in Anaheim. Yeah. It would seem that uh you pretty much have to be acceptant of change.

Well, in our line of work, yeah, you have to. Yeah. It's I guess it's the same as uh being an actor and having to go on location for months at a time. Yeah. I mean, it's just part of it.

Do you play?

I play pool, yeah.

So, the greatest thing about this and the most wonderful thing is You wanna sit in here, watch TV, do whatever? You're sitting here and I mean paradise awaits you. You know, we have pre-game naps on game days and it's a pretty nice place to come and just This doesn't just get you relaxed in the afternoon, then nothing will.

I'm gonna show you a very fun part of the house. This is pretty awesome out here. Just a little storage. Golf clubs.

Golf clubs. Hockey players love their golf. Yeah.

All right. Cool. So, now I'm gonna show you the the most fabulous part of the house. But it's a little chilly out and the doors are open. So, I made some tea for us. No, you know I I think the big thing that I've learned throughout my career is like you you be a leader by example. You know, not by what you say but by what you do. So, you know, you just try to be a a good guy and go play like you'd want other guys to play and hope that it's the right way.
