About this video
Our white couch faces imminent danger when "The League" stars Nick Kroll and Paul Scheer drop on by and go into intimate detail about the "work" they may or may not have had done on certain parts of their bodies... On a safer note, the fellas also dish on the 3rd season of their FX comedy series, which includes some major (slumming?) guest stars, and suggest a name for YH's own fantasy football league! I was a I was one of the more successful female models in the country.
I was a forearm model for years.
I had my butt hole done.
And Paul went on vacation.
We spent all of our money on plastic surgery.
And I asked them to Jew up my nose.
Describe myself in one word. Amy Poler.
I almost fell back to the couch right now.
Hey everyone, Nikki Novak here in the Young Hollywood Studio with the leaguers. Nick Kroll and Paul Share.
I like being referred to as the leaguer.
As a leaguer?
You know, we are often confused for the cast of Glee. Because when you say it quickly to people, you're like, oh, I'm on the league. And they go, oh, Glee. It's like a weird.
Yeah, you're super young and handsome. And you, you have the lips. You could have modeled as well.
I was, yeah, I was a, I was one of the more successful female models in the country.
The female.
Who has the blue steel? Really good. Really like, I'm lucky I can't be like you guys.
You were, you were a forearm model as well.
I was a forearm model for years and then, um I stopped. And then it got hairy. Yeah. Yeah. But uh, but I've had, but then I shave it and then I just had implants put in. It's been great. Yeah, I had a I had a forearm. You can't even tell.
Yeah, I know. It looks super real. It's really so natural. That's a great thing about Young Hollywood is it's a place where you can be honest about the work that you've had done. Um.
Right.
What else have you had done?
I had my butt hole done.
And I had my butt hole done. I made it. I had it bleached and doubled by five sizes. Yeah. It's great.
You wanted it larger?
I wanted it larger.
And I got to say, I don't know what it looks like, but he's more confident on set.
I feel great about it.
He's a better performer.
Well, I feel like, I mean, it's all about air, air about moving in and out. So like that is going to.
You're feeling free.
I'm feeling very free. We're on our third season, so we could. We spent all of our money on plastic surgery, we've seen. Two and three. Yeah, so Paul, we had a nine-month break and Paul went on vacation.
I had full head of hair before in season two. Yeah, and then, I think it's such a more interesting choice now. I removed it. A lot of people are getting hair transplants. I removed it. So it's been really great. We really done a lot of great stuff.
And I asked him to Jew up my nose and that really and that really helped.
You've worked with Amy Poler. Yeah. She was in here and we asked her to describe herself in one word and she said juicy. So I'm going to put you guys. Do you guys have the same question?
Juicy.
If describe myself in one word. Amy Poler.
I have three words for for Paul.
Yeah, what is it? Do tell.
gaping butt hole.
I was going to say gigantic butt hole.
I almost fell back to the couch right now.
I'm actually giving, this is I'm I'm almost suggesting one of the cushions. Uh.
You'll stand up and the cushion will go with you.
Yeah, it will follow me out the door. They did use me, um, for the a couple of the teen mom covers. They use my body and put one of the baby's faces on it.
Did they?
Because I have like a baby's body. That's a that's a fact.
You have a really boy body. I think I want to be on your show. I can kind of see what goes on. Is there a lot of improv, isn't there?
Yeah, but it's all dramatic. Our show is uh created by uh Jeff and Jackie Shafer and Jeff has a background of working on Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm and a bunch of the Sasha Baron Cohen movies.
I don't know any of those shows.
Yeah, of course. No, no. Yeah.
So this season, what's going to happen? Because I know each of you have won fantasy football in your respective seasons.
I won the first, you won the second. Uh-huh.
So what's up for season three?
Season three, I was the loser in season two. I came in last place. And my character is being punished. I I got the saco.
Well, you always get, you know, everybody picks on you because.
Yes. He takes a lot of shots. I take it. Yeah. So this season, physically, my appearance has been altered as a response to being the last place loser.
Well, now that you've had all that work done.
The first episode, Seth Rogan is on. He's a guest on it and he plays the infamous Dirty Randy. He is really slumming it. I know we've been really sarcastic so far, but he really is. He really is straight up slumming it on our show. And we had uh Will Forte, obviously from Saturday Night Live. Yeah, we wrote me and episode that Paul and I wrote that Will is uh the guest star on and um We it's a lot of we we're three three weeks in and like some really funny stuff. Probably the most important comedy what yeah, period.
Well, you know, a lot of people confuse us. We got how many Emmy nominations did we get this year? Oh gosh.
for? So that was, you know, it was a tough year for us, but got one or two.
So I've also heard because I know the show is about football and you're a huge fan of fantasy football in real life. But the show is also about I think the creator said, you should watch the show if you have friends that you hate.
Yes. Yeah, you know, I think a common misconception about the show is that it is only for people who play fantasy football and it really isn't at all. It's it's for people that are our age and and it's just about friends hanging out.
For somebody who doesn't know, why are you called the herdsman again?
My character only had access to um women who were a bit bigger. And so
It's very kind, a very kind way to say it.
Um So he that became my nickname is the herdsman at some point along the way. You've played fantasy football. You know that the names of the teams are just It's
But it's crucial from what I've heard. There's like three major points that you guys like some article in Esquire about you guys.
Yes. They're three it needs to have some sort of a pop culture reference to it, you know.
Okay. What would Young Hollywood's name be? That's a fun one. Young Hollywood's name. What would their league name be? Um
Juicy.
Juicy.
