In English, it's just weird, it's not, it's not.

But what is like the Belgian pronunciation?

It sounds so much better when you say it. Give that a try. Schoenhaerts. So, Rust and Bone was unbelievable. I know a lot of people are talking about Oscars already, and they're talking about buzz. First of all, I wanted to ask you, where do you keep your Oscar? The Oscar that you've already won.

Uh, well, it's in Paris. I have to say right now, because I've been moving a lot, that it must be in a box somewhere. So, it must be written something that has nothing to like carpet or something. Like, tiny carpet. Nobody, nobody would ever look.

I read that you two, cuz I know the film obviously turned out amazing. When you first meet and when you first get together and do a table read, it can sometimes be awkward. Like, you're sort of trying to impress each other and you don't know how the other person feels.

Absolutely. That was, uh, the first reading. Of course, it's it's awkward, and the more you try to impress, the more you're not impressing at all. As an actor, right? It's like the more you try, the more you're in your head, it's just not going to work. And then the second time we met was on set, and there she was in her wheelchair, complete like. And I said, uh, hi Marion. She goes like. I was like, oh my God.

You thought she was one of those actresses, right?

I was like, oh my God, she doesn't, she doesn't like me. I don't know. But then once we did the first rehearsal, it was like, ah.

Ah, quoi. Tu trouves ça normal de partir avec une pute devant moi? Si je faisais la même chose, tu dirais quoi? Bah, rien. Ah, ouais. C'est vrai. Merde. Oh yeah. Oh yeah, I will always be nervous. No, I didn't know Matthias, and and I and I felt when he started reading, I felt that it would be an amazing experience.

So, I know, you know, being an American, I know Americans tend to be very starstruck by celebrity. Is there anybody that you guys get starstruck over or, cuz I heard that you love Will Farrell and you love his movies.

Would that be somebody who you'd be starstruck meeting? Or if you met him?

Yeah. It was horrible.

So for you, who would be, who would be somebody you'd love to meet?

Uh, I don't know. Maybe Nelson Mandela or something.

Um, yeah, maybe. Yeah, no, there's a lot of actors that I admire. I think Daniel Day Lewis would, yeah, would just freak me out.

So, I wanted to play a little American game with you guys, just sort of ask you your favorite things about America. Cuz in the movie, Katy Perry, there's a lot of American music. It's a French film, but there's a lot of great American music, like Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry makes an appearance. So, favorite American song. Do you have one?

It would be Elvis.

I don't know. Maybe some some Johnny Cash or or Bruce Springsteen or or even Michael Jackson, I don't know.

Favorite American food? Is there one though? Having such great French cuisine.

Well, I'm sure my favorite place I've, I mean, it's still to discover. I would love to go to Yellowstone. I will, I I actually would love to go to so many places in the US I've never been to.
