Okay, so better with you. Better with you. What in your life is better with?

Better with my husband, better with my dogs, better with travel, better with family.

Wait, now, Matthew Perry introduced you to your husband, is that right?

Yeah, that's right. I was at a barbecue with a friend of mine and I've known Matthew for a long time. Never dated. But we're both Canadians. Uh, so we've been friendly for years. And um, at Johnny and uh Matthew had been friends for years and they came to the barbecue together. And I remember seeing Matthew across the room and saying, oh, I'm so I'm so glad someone I know is here. So we sort of drifted toward each other. And I guess in the meantime, Matthew was telling Johnny, oh, I want you to meet Jen Finnigan. She's funny. She's got a good butt. She's he's like, I've known her forever, you're really going to like her. And uh, and I just remember us talking and literally not stopping for six hours and oh, pass the tissues. I know, it's so gross.

Oh, so sweet. You were born in Montreal.

I was.

And you speak fluent French, I believe.

I do. I do, but it's getting harder and harder because nobody in LA speaks French. So I try to, you know, read French books and go see movies and not read the subtitles when I'm in a French movie, which is tough.

How does living in LA kind of contrast to living in Montreal?

Very different. Very, very different. It's just a very different culture. People are different um and and when you say you're an actress there, it's actually an impressive thing. It's not a reality that they live every day, whereas in LA, that's everyone's reality. When you say you're an actress in LA, you sort of get the eye roll from people, you know. So I miss it, but work's here and my husband's here and I love it here.

Hello Montreal. Oh, so sexy. Now, I hear you were a bit of an extreme sports fanatic.

Yeah, I I definitely uh had my my fill of that. You know, I've I've bungied, I've skydived. I've um I made my husband do this thing called the Zorb. Have you not heard of this? It's really weird. If I describe it, you're going to think I'm crazy. It looks like a gigantic beach ball. And you go to the top of a hill and then you you're wearing your bathing suit and you go you basically go into this beach ball. They sort of put a little warm water in there. And um it feels like a spin cycle um like a washing machine. So my husband and I were both in it and then they roll the ball down the hill and you are inside of it bouncing all over the place, but it is cushioned. But I do remember looking at my husband while we were rolling down the hill and just the terror in his eyes and I was having the time of my life cuz I'm the kind of person that would look at something like that and go, that looks amazing. I have to do that. Whereas he's the kind of person that's like, what is that? What kind of crazy person would do that? So we're good. We we balance each other out like that.

What about traveling? If you could jump on an airplane to anywhere, where would you go?

Well, that's another thing we do. I do a lot of it. It's kind of my passion. We do is we'll we'll pick a spot and then we'll drive the whole country. So we drove all of Iceland and Ireland and we just got back from Italy. But now that I'm on the show, I'm I'm a little more strapped down, which is which is good actually. I think it's good for us to be home and and really just, you know, nest for a little bit.
