I'm Oliver Trevena here with Young Hollywood with the gorgeous Tinsel Korey, how are you?

I'm great how are you.

We've kind of got matching outfits if I get that in there.

There was a memo we like to do that here so um if you don't know this girl from a small little movie um Twilight that was it Twilight yeah very small.

Yeah independent movie.

It's about to blow up apparently so it's going to be big. You look different without your massive.

I do?

Yeah just a little. That's not real then is it?

No it's not. That's the tricks of TV, makeup that is.

Um how is that putting that on?

Um for New Moon it took three to four hours and for Eclipse it took seven to eight hours 'cause they had a brand new makeup team so they had to figure things out so it's a long process like I can't imagine Jim Carrey and The Grinch would like you know all that time in the makeup chair and then sixteen hours it's taxing.

That's pretty crazy. But you don't turn into a werewolf do you?

No I don't.

So that's fortunate isn't it?

Yeah.

If you could be a werewolf or a vampire which would you pick?

Um I think it'd be cool to be a wolf. I don't know.

Yeah you'd be a different creature. No sucking on necks and doesn't appeal to you.

No not at all.

Won't get you to do that then so that would just be weird now. Um how did all this start for you? It's you know you're fairly blowing up on the scene at the moment but it

Yeah I mean I've I've been doing film and television for a really long time. I've had a growing career in Canada and um Rene Haynes who cast um uh New Moon she has been a supporter of mine since Into the West which was a Spielberg project that I did. So uh she had this project and she was like please come audition and the next day I was shortlisted so it was a pretty easy process for me.

What's the craziest thing or story about a fan that you can say without offending them too much?

Um no that girl in Denver who just yelled at my face that that took me back a lot. I mean the girls are different from me with the boys you know like girls don't come up to me and like grab me but I know Taki K. Center he was in the bathroom and all of a sudden he hears these like heels clicking in the bathroom and he opens the door and this woman is just like standing there and he's like you need to get out of here. So like weird things like that happen to the boys.

Yeah that's why I mean him a different. I'm sorry that's terrible. Um now you also do a little bit of music don't you?

Yes I do. Yeah.

Tell us about your uh your music passion.

Um it's sort of like bluesy rocky jazz people compare my voice to Norah Jones and Jewel but it's been a juggling act every time I try to do music it's like acting pulls me away. So I really want to get it done.

But is that your real passion do you think?

No I think it's just a different expression of my art. I'm just one of those sensitive artist people that like needs to create all the time. I gave you everything put my life on the line. Hoping that you would change but you're still the same. I'm not turning my back 'cause you already did that. Just need my wounds to seal and my heart to heal and I could try to look back at the angel that you used to be. When you were playful, full of love, love when we were happy. Trust me I tried. I gave my all but I know it's never part of me that I have to move on. It'll hurt but stay in isn't being I'll be long gone by the time you get this letter.

So that was amazing. Um to think that you just wrote that song for me in a short amount of time is touching so uh no but all seriousness that was that was absolutely great it's brilliant it's brilliant real talent. Um do you ever play music with the rest of the cast of uh Twilight and stuff because there's a few little musicals.

Yeah we have a lot of musical people. Um no I haven't um but I want to like we do the conventions so I totally want to do it. But um I actually jammed with Justin Gaston who was on If I Can Dream so you meet all these um different musicians. Sorry.

Yeah. When's the music going to is that going to come out?

I don't know I I want it to come out like soon. I'm really trying to get an album done by the end of the year. So it's just you know juggling the two things. See what happens.

We love that performance. I mean come on guys step up record labels make it happen. I'm crying on the inside now. Um pleasure thanks for coming in.
