LJ here hanging out at the Young Hollywood Studio with Kris Allen. So now it has been over a year since all the American Idol craziness. What surprised you the most from from day one till now?

Um, I don't know, man. I mean, it's just how quick everything happens. Like, I don't even remember going into the studio or I don't remember details about going in the studio and and recording most of those songs. So, um, it'll be it'll be nice to like take some time and like do that stuff now. All right with me.

So let's talk about Arkansas. When you're going going back home, how's it different now that you're Kris Allen is before?

Well, because it's like it's been a couple years now. It's uh, it's kind of nice because it's almost like I'm part of the community again. Obviously, they're really proud of what happened and uh they feel like they were a part of it, which is, which they were, you know? And, and uh, and but it is nice to go back home and I mean, I live I still live there. So, um, it's just a it's a good feeling, you know, people roll down the windows. Hey, Chris, how's it going? Like it's more it's more that then hey, I want to take a picture with you. Maybe everybody in the town already has a picture.

And there's a little video we hear. There's a rumor going around like a a sneak peek of

Yeah, I mean, we uh well, we're we uh, you know, the new single is all right with me. And the fans are really excited about it. So we thought we'd give them a gift and put together a compilation of of videos and uh, and it's set to the music of All Right With Me. It's not a music video, but it's just more like something for the fans to look at. All right with me. All right. All right with me. All right. All right with me. In this video, there's a lot of stupid stuff. A lot of uh a lot of weird dancing. But uh there's some nipple clamping. I gotta love that.

Yeah. Any Where you naked in hotel rooms and stuff?

That's not on the video. Please, can we not have that happen again? That was so weird.

So top top three craziest, weirdest things that have happened to you last year? Is that's number one, for sure.

That's for sure. Number two is probably the woman trying to make out with me. That was weird.

Was that crazy, though? You're you're a rock star now.

I know, but it was like she took trying to take a picture with me and then all of a sudden her tongue was in my mouth. It was a little weird.

What did you do?

I ran like a little girl.

What's number three? Those are two good ones. How else do you how do you top that?

I don't know. Number one and two are pretty good. Yeah, right. Uh, I mean craziest things, man, just getting getting to meet the people that I've met, like Stevie Wonder and uh and opening up for Keith Urban. Like, stuff like that is just ridiculous.

What about these mashups, though? I mean, Gangsters Paradise, like who would expect you would be doing doing a mashup about that?

I've done this song, um, I've I've been doing that song for a while. Right. Um, just at bars and stuff like that before the Idol stuff. And uh, and remember playing heartless and me and my friend were like, Hmm, Gangster's Paradise might go well with this. So we just we just threw it in there. And uh, and it worked. So.

Have you ever connected with Coolio? You know, let's Coolio thinking.

Haven't talked to Coolio about it. That'd be fun though, man.

You're right. That'd be so nice. Think about that though. It's like a couple years ago, none of this was happening and now it's like

Yeah, man. I mean, I was talking

all over the world, you're touring, you're making music with people you love. Keith Urban, you're opening for him. That's crazy.

I was talking to somebody earlier today and telling him that um, I think they they had asked me like what's the uh, what's one thing that you would not have been able to do if you weren't on the show? And we went to Vegas to watch Garth Brooks and we got to go backstage and go see him.

Nice.

And uh, and talk to him and that was like, I mean, I grew up,

Right.

a little kid, just loving Garth Brooks. So it was a very uh, very I was a star struck, man. I really was. I had a hard time talking to him. Just because I mean, it's like, that's Garth Brooks, man.
