Well, here we go. Game of first with Game of first with Chad Michael Murray. Number one, do you remember the first person you ever got starstruck over?

Do you know who William Fickner is?

I know the name.

He was on a show back in the day called Grace Under Fire. I was a little kid. I was like 10 years old. Well, he's from Buffalo. And he was watching his nephew's or some Little League football game, and I had just finished Little League football game. And I was like, hey, that's the guy from Grace Under Fire. Sparks. I know it is. And I went over to him and I go, hey man, are you on Grace Under Fire? He goes, yeah, I am. I go, no, you're not. He goes, yeah, I am. I go, no, you're not. And he goes, no, you're right. I'm not. No, that's okay.

Oh. But was it him?

It was him.

Oh, he was joking.

Yeah. No, and I've seen him for like every time I go to a sporting event back home, he's always there.

Okay, what about the first person you became friends with on the sets of One Tree Hill?

Gosh, that's a tough one because everybody, you know, like we all got together from the get-go, and we would go out to dinners and everything else. So.

What about the first job you ever had?

First legit job or first job? Because like, there's a difference. Like my first job was like,

What is not? Which one's more exciting?

My first job, I was a janitor. Yes. Okay. It's a janitor at a donut world.

I kind of remember that. Did you get free donuts?

I got fired.

While you're

You know what? Yeah. Well, see, I love a good sprinkled glazed donut. And I'd make them myself. I'd put extra glaze on them and cover them head to toe in sprinkles. It was so good. But uh I I was let go for tossing Skittles in the deep fryer.

Oh.

Yeah. Turns out you can't deep fry a Skittle. Who knew? You learn the hard way. By the way, wait till next month when it says new deep-fried Skittles and you see them on the shelf. It's a new thing. Right?

What about the first thing that inspired American Drifter?

Well, I mean, it was a it was a dream. It was a dream. So it it started there and it manifested into something that I wanted to make sure resonated with my friends and fans.

What about your first celebrity crush?

Madonna.

Really?

Yeah, I remember. I was a little boy and oh, never mind. I can't tell that story exactly how I wanted to tell it. But let's just say, I realized I was like, what? Hmm. That's different. Well, you know, if you get my drift. So inappropriate. But uh, yeah, it was Madonna. And you know what movie it was? It was when she was in Dick Tracy.

Have you met Madonna? Have you told her this that she was your first celebrity crush?

No. I haven't. I haven't. I probably should. We need to tell Madonna. Madonna, you're my first celebrity crush. It's it's just it is what it is.

We're maybe saving the best for last. What is your first embarrassing audition story?

I tend to not embarrass easily.

Really? That's great. That's a great.

I I have like four brothers. I have four brothers, so they kind of drag you through the mud and embarrass the hell out of you growing up.

That's actually probably why you're such a great actor because you you can throw anything at you and you just go with it. You're just kind of like, oh, what's going to happen, you know?

Um, I've been I've been really, really lucky. Do I have things that I wish I did differently? That's fair. That's that's one thing. Embarrassed? You know, I'm sure there's been something. I just can't think about it in the moment.
