What's going on, guys? Nicole Koch in the Young Hollywood studio, hanging out with Bo Mirchoff.
Hello.
How are you?
Excellent. I'm happy to be back here.
Yeah, I was about to say, welcome back. It feels like it was just yesterday, though. Oh, wow.
Yeah.
You have some good memories here, huh?
Yeah, good. All the best.
Yeah. I looked at your Instagram.
Mhm.
You've been posting a lot of pictures of you in the nature, like the trails with your dog.
Yes.
But then, you told me that there's a really cool reason.
Yes, there is. So, I made a little bit of a life change. Yeah. So, I rented my place out for the next year. I purchased a camper van. Named it Van Gogh. It's a it's a guy. And I'm living in this van for the next little while, a few months. We'll see how long. Doing a lot of just cruising around, exploring, and kind of trying to live a little more minimalist and see how that goes.
Wow. That's honestly so cool.
It's I mean, I'm still in like the honeymoon phase. It's been about a month. But I'm like absolutely loving it. It's so liberating.
What made you want to do that?
I love work, and I love all that, but there's other other things to life, you know? There's other experiences to be had. And you and especially in Los Angeles, you can kind of it's this rat race, and you can kind of just get entrenched in it and not realize there's some, you know, big world out there. So it's nice to kind of unplug and then once you go back to LA, it's like it's fresh, it's vibrant, it's awesome to be to be back in the city.
But now back to work because here you are, and you're going to tell us about flatliners. That's right. Which is super cool. Super cool. I mean, it's about medical students who they stop their heart but bring themselves back to life just in time, right?
Well, um, yes. Well, why don't you tell me? It's your it's your film. Why don't I tell you about it? So you have it exactly right, but the the reason they do that is because they're very intrigued with what lies beyond. Yeah. So they want to stop their hearts to have an experience of the afterlife. Or lack thereof. Or what is it? So they do that, but with every action there is, you know, consequences. So they're like biggest sins come back to haunt them. It's scary. It's a lot, it's very frightening.
Well, what was it like? Don't stop your heart. Don't try it.
Yeah, I'm not really into it.
So would you stop your heart?
It stopped right now. I'm looking into your eyes.
Oh, my God, you are a cheeseball, mister. Look at it. He thought that was so good.
Oh, I did not. No, I did not.
Are you embarrassed now?
Yeah, I'm I'm red. I'm as red as that orb.
Maybe you should just find, you know, time before the doctor man lives you up. You're right. But it's time that we go off script a little bit.
Yeah!
Toss your inhibitions. Because it's time to boogie. Party, Bo.
It's like you're on complete opposite spectrums there. Uh-huh.
And it's with your bestie. Yeah. Fred Davern.
I know, I got to do another another movie with my best friend.
How was that?
It's amazing. It's so fun.
I mean, I can imagine. We actually went to a big screening of it at Sony. It's really funny. And uh, you should watch it for free.
For free?
For free. You got me there. I wasn't going to watch it if it wasn't for free.
I know, it's free. I'm just kidding.
Okay, really quickly before we go out, because it is based around like this big party. We're going to ask you some rapid-fire party questions. So rapid fire, answer them as quickly as you can, okay?
All right, are you more likely to throw a party or attend one? Throw. All right.
Where are you at a party? Dance floor, talking to friends?
Oh. So, you know, I start out on the peripheral. You know, get comfortable, have a drink, see what's up. Okay. And then I hit that dance floor. And I'm not off for the rest of the night.
There you go. My last one and this is how we're going out. What's your go-to party dance move? Throw it to camera.
Thank you, Young Hollywood. There you go. I do do the wall.
Are you serious?
No, I'm making this up right now.
In the middle of the crowd, this is just all you're doing?
Oh, yeah. They go crazy.
Nice. Well, there you guys have it. You just got to really know Bo in a really interesting way. Yeah. You're awesome.
Cool. Thank you so much.
Come back anytime. Nice sticking with you.
