You don't want to make life. I just last night was seeing Oliver Twist with with James Corden. I saw that. Did you see that?

I did. It was actually really hilarious. Adorable.

Is that like one of your favorites?

Well, the irony is there was a scene in the movie where I walk into a coffee shop, and I'm whistling Oliver Twist. And it didn't make the movie, but it was very funny.

It's so funny. I played Oliver and Nancy in Oliver Twist in my school play.

Did you know that?

I did not. In two different performances, clearly, 'cause I couldn't have done two of them at once. But yeah, in like grade five I did, I think, Nancy and then I, you know, upgraded to doing Oliver. I was really happy 'cause I got like the main part then.

Well, maybe you'll have to be Oliver Twist at some point.

XXX. The world has changed. The war we're fighting today needs a different kind of soldier. Kicks some ass. And try to look dope while you do it. I could definitely make that work. This one's special, I brought I brought cool friends and I brought a team.

Well, one of your cool friends is right here.

It is one of my cool friends and it's one of the things that we're really proud of. The kind of relationship between Adele and Xander is really something special and it's something we talked about early on in the movie in the process of it, but there's something so unique about this. It's so fresh about this relationship. You see these people, they love each other, they have each other's back unconditionally. And you see the joy that they have when they're with each other. And they really do look out for each other. She must have killed a million people on her way. She is most literally, again, bad-ass sniper. Bad-ass sniper. No one can be a sniper like this girl right here. By the way, in the beginning, even before we had met, she had already started training, seriously training as a sniper. And that just for a producer and and for somebody that wants this movie to be so special, nothing was more cool. nothing than that 'cause he was like, on my gosh. I'm going to say, What's going to happen when I meet her? I've been practicing some really cool stunts.

Were you actually afraid of her?

You actually scared Vin Diesel?

I mean, I was so petrified. I didn't want to go to set. And then we ended up going to the gym together all the time and then we

Yeah, I was really competitive.

Were you nervous about that? 'Cause I was I was terrified about that.

I was petrified. I was shaking in my boots. Yeah, he's got full boots. Won't lie. I put some boots. I was so scared. I didn't know what to do really. And then when he would just be so going hard at the gym, I was like, all right, I'm gonna have to go as hard as him. And then when he would be like, we've done, you know, 45 minutes or an hour, like we can stop 'cause we're also shooting throughout this whole time. I'd be like, well, I I've just got one more minute. Just as a principal. Yeah. I'm not gonna do this. All right, forty more seconds, Ruby. You've got this.

What is that like, though? Like, what is the training that I mean, I assume that's crazy, but like with you, it must be like times a thousand.

Well, it's it's this is a specific kind of character, so

And you do all your own stunts, right? Both of you?

We do a lot. We do more than we should, but

I was gonna say. to be honest with you, you know, at some point you gotta grow up, and you're not going to jump into the fire. But uh

Neither have I. You have not. You skateboarded in the crate. I know. And he sent me these photos, he's like, my knee. I'm like, you gotta stop with my elbow, like every day. But he's still going again, again, again.

It was too fun because I used to skateboard in New York City and I'm realizing, you know, to call that work now is so surreal. We had The reason why people have so much fun when they see this movie is because we, and I can't stress this enough. A lot of people in films and in casts will say, oh, we had a great time filming. It was so much fun. I love you like what you name it, what you name it.

You can tell you guys had a blast though, 'cause I think like even the audience were just like, it is fun. It's purely like the adrenaline is pumping nonstop. It's it's pure pure fun.

I mean, my sister, who's one of the producers, Samantha, just texts me last night and said, in all the films I've ever done, she's never seen a more unified cast. She's never seen a more supportive and open and present cast.

That's amazing.

It is amazing.

Yeah. We we all have such great friendship now, which you just can't, I mean, I'm so excited about the film and I loved working on it. And of course, we hope there's many more. But the thing that I get to take away with this is just like friendships that I could have never imagined.

So, you call this like a bromance, which I found really funny on your on your Instagram. You were like, it's like a gender neutral bromance.

That's right. That's right.

Which is kind of awesome though.

We were working out from the beginning what to call it. We're like, do we call it the brothers? Do we call it, you know, 'cause we just were like, this we haven't seen this before. And how do you label it? Or how do you describe it in a concise way? And we couldn't find it really until the film had been made and you said, It's like a gender-irrelevant bromance. And I was like, we got it. We finally got it. A year and a half later, we got the word. That's right. That's right. Not without effort. I mean, we took we were trying to work it out because we knew we were onto something. You know, there are scenes you'll see, you know, like us on the raft and stuff. You always see this love and it's and in the audience, you envy this relationship. Because it's it has there's no objective to it. It's just unconditional. And it's something we haven't seen in film.

Yeah. Well, I have one quick little challenge before I let you guys go, if you're up for it. So it's about so the movie, you're trying to get this Pandora's box. Yes. You gotta stop it from getting into the hands of the bad guys, so that they pretty much destroy everybody. So we have our own little Pandora's box here. Uh-oh. I don't know. I mean

What it really means is that you don't know what's inside. It could be a mix of good and evil. It's all glass, and I don't really throw that around. Like, Vin, catch! And then we got black eyes and big slits on our face. I'll show you what's inside. It actually looks pretty nice. It's just it's just some jelly beans.
