What's going on Riverdale fans? Welcome back to Riverdale Rapid Fire Recap where we talk about all things trending on the show right now. Last week's episode, Tails from the Dark Side, got pretty dark. I mean, who turned off all those lights in Riverdale? Seriously. However, KJ did kind of tip us off to the darkness this season. He really did. And what can we expect coming into the new season?

Uh, you can expect it to be a lot darker. I know everyone's saying that, but it's actually true. Yeah, Jughead is just going to get sadder and sadder. You know, the writers are just going to pull the happiness away from that kid, one little page at a time.

So the boys definitely tipped us off as to what the season would bring. However, I feel so bad for Jughead. I mean, first of all, he gets a weird box that has so-called pancake mix in it. Pancake mix, guys. I mean, okay. Second of all, he gets in a car with a complete stranger. Archie kind of ditches him and then Archie saves the day again. And then he kind of gets screwed by Penny Peabody. I mean like he's just a whirlwind of brutalness. He is not the only one who had a tough episode. I mean poor Josie. First, she gets a really creepy drawing of her face. And then second, she gets a pig heart delivered to her. A pig heart. People, what is the point of a pig heart? I just don't understand. What's the connection? Literally so gross. So gross. So gross. But what's almost weirder is Cheryl at the end with that drawing. So, Cheryl, what's going on there? Because I don't know, are you kind of into Josie? This is a little weird. Are you sending those secret admirer things? Are you? Are you? Oh. Jinx. However, honestly, I'm still trying to process the affair between Kevin's dad and Josie's mom. However, I kind of don't blame them though because Sheriff Keller's kind of hot. As I quote from Cheryl, "You're looking extra dilfy today. #dilfy." But, let's change the topic to Betty and Veronica because they're clutch detectives. They figured this whole thing out. And the Veronica bond is stronger than ever. I mean, even the A-GREE. I got to go.

People love Veronica, which is great. You know, like they're Betty and Veronica are a very powerful female duo and that's wonderful. So I say if you want to ship Veronica, go for it.

Carly, I love shipping Veronica and I totally have faith that they're finally going to find out who the blackhead is. However, now that the reckoning is upon us, I'm really nervous.

I mean, you should be because that town is going down. I mean, he's going after sinners and quite frankly everyone in that town is a sinner. So, see you Riverdale.
