Hey everyone, I'm Molly Argu and we are in studio today joined by the lovely Sasha Pieterse.
Hello.
Welcome.
Thank you.
The last time I saw you was a really big night because it was the Pretty Little Liars red carpet finale event. Tell me about filming the the actual final episode. I heard it was so difficult with just tears the whole way through.
It really was. I mean I don't think there was a day that I didn't cry. I have to be honest. And we were all crying so even if I had like recovered, someone else would cry then I would cry again. Our poor hair and makeup team were like, "Ah, we don't know what to do with ourselves." But it really was bittersweet 'cause we would like go into our dressing rooms and be like, "This is the last time that we're going to walk in here. This is the last time that we're gonna do this. This is the last time that we're gonna see each other." So. It was sad.
When you really grow up, your character and you personally, yeah. Grew up on the show. I mean, you started Pretty Little Liars at, what, 12?
Yeah, I did the pilot when I was 12. I shot the first season when I was 13. So, um, a lot of memories on those stages, uh, for all of us. But yeah, I really did, I really did grow up on it. Yeah.
And you just opened the Pretty Little Liars Museum. Tell me about that 'cause I don't, I don't know much about it.
It was a trip, actually, because there's, I mean, stuff from the first season all the way through to this current season. They've got the board game there which is really cool, which by the way, that costs like $25,000. It was really, really intricate. Yeah, it was crazy. There are masks from Halloween party or the Halloween episode that we had, and the creepy dolls, and my yellow shirt.
They didn't let you keep the yellow shirt.
I feel like I'm getting sent one. Oh. Okay. I actually hate the yellow shirt. It was kind of the bane of my existence for a while because I wore it so much. And I got dirty in it basically. They buried me in it and I got buried multiple times actually for filming. So I thought Yeah. Yeah, but I thought we were done with it. I was like, "Great. Like we're done. I don't have to deal with that anymore." And then they're like, "Just kidding. There's more flashbacks." So they made 13 more. And I was just Oh yeah. I was like, "Okay, well there's no chance of me burning all 13 anymore." Oh.
Yeah. Well, and as one door closes, another chapter's opening for you. And now you have more time to work on your blog, which I'm dying to talk to you about because I'm such a fan.
Yeah. Oh cool. I Actually, just a few nights ago, I printed out your peach bites.
Oh, good. They look so good and so easy to make, too.
They're so easy. And that's really what I've been wanting to do is Yeah. I love entertaining. I love uh, having people over and I love creating things. It's just it's been a part of my life forever so to share that with people now is super fun. And I'm about to have a cookbook so you guys will be able to see that. But yeah, lots of decorations, uh, ways to reuse decorations, ways to recycle them, um, places to give them to where you're actually, you know, doing something eco-friendly instead of just throwing it in the trash. Yeah, you'll see all kinds of stuff on the DIY blog. And I've been having a lot of fun with it and I've been getting really great feedback.
Yeah, and the DIY part also, that stands out to me because I suck at DIY. I
It's easier than you think, I swear.
It's a talent. I think it's a real talent to be able to DIY and make it look really good. I'm going to have to work on my DIY skills as I watch the final episode and I'll have a true Sasha moment. Oh. Well, thanks for joining us. So good to see you.
Yeah, it was a pleasure. So good to see you too.
We'll be following what's next.
