What is going on, guys? Nicole Cotch in the Young Hollywood Studio hanging out with the lovely ladies of The Bold Type. I have Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy, and Katie Stevens. Ladies, how are you doing?

Guest

Good, how are you?

Young Hollywood

I'm doing good. Yeah. You guys are so beautiful.

Guest

Oh my God, you're so beautiful. Oh.

Young Hollywood

Can we just have this be like a where we cheers and just like compliment each other for the next like 10 minutes?

Guest

Sure. Yeah. Oh, we like to cheer

Young Hollywood

Perfect. Okay, let's clarify to the people that are watching. You know what I'm saying?

Guest

Dream Scarlet. Dream Teenies. Dream Teenies. Yes.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Let's cheers to cheers. Having adventures, right? All right, cool. Oh, that's lovely. Yeah. That's the stuff. All right, well let's talk about the show. I want to know, who's the narrator of the show? Can you please tell us? Is it Joanna Coles?

Guest

Joanna Coles. Oh my gosh. Okay, that just made my day cuz I swear I tried to guess it and then we were like, I don't know how they do it because her voice is a little bit higher than how she naturally talks. That's amazing. I love that.

Young Hollywood

So, what's your favorite part about being on a show that talks about such real and significant issues right now?

Guest

I don't know, since the show's aired, like a lot of people have come up and just said how it's like their Tuesday night therapy and like Yeah. Yeah, that's really cool. Second guest: Yeah, I think the the thing about the show speaking about such interesting and relevant topics is that it does sort of facilitate a conversation that may not otherwise have been facilitated. I mean, my mom and all of my aunts every Tuesday, they have this party and they drink wine and they talk about the show and the things that it deals with and I I love that. That makes me so happy that they're

Young Hollywood

And you guys do such a good job at that because I know I've spoken to my friends and they have said, you know, that show makes me feel like I'm not alone in so many different issues that you guys touch on and I think the show does such a good job. It's not cheesy. It's genuinely relatable and you guys are genuinely busy women in this show, so it's like when you guys are bringing the issues forward, it's it's it's real. And I can tell you guys are like little literal besties right now. You guys are trying to like hold yourselves back, right? Cuz you know, it's a formal interview and all that. So do you guys like improv or anything like use your real life friendship like in scenes?

Guest

All the time. More than we have permission to. But I I think there are like four or five times in the finale where you and I say "dog." I don't know if you got a "dog" in there, but Second guest: You know what it was? It was Brandy Jackson, remember when Randy Jackson used to say that on He'd be like, that's going to be no from you, dog. A little bitchy. So we just started saying that to each other and then in the finale I say it a minimum of three times too.

Guest

Yeah. I think I say it once, maybe twice over the course of the season. I had to ADR it. It was so awesome.

Young Hollywood

Also, all your characters go through a point where you have "the talk" with your significant other at some point, right? So, what can you tell the Young Hollywood fans about having "the talk?" You guys know things, right? About

Guest

I'm in a relationship, but like I'm not good at I feel like I'm not good at relationship advice cuz like I'm Second guest: You're so good at that.

Guest

Take it as a win that I'm in one.

Young Hollywood

You guys are so cute, by the way. I love when Sutton speaks up and shares her sort of mind with Richard in the beginning of the season.

Guest

Yeah. That was actually really inspiring to me because once you realize like if the person doesn't respond well to that, like they're a waste of time anyway. So, you don't actually lose anything by doing that and if it goes well, either way, I think you feel powerful. You know it's right to say like give it to these guys. Second guest: For it. Yeah. Inspirational.

Guest

I'm going to take I don't know what that was. I've been watching Bachelor in Paradise and last night. Last night, somebody said something to one of the girls who like has been fighting for this guy who has been hooking up with somebody else but like keeping her on a string. Trash. And like I but like I've been that girl who was like so afraid of rejection that like I would stay with somebody who didn't treat me well, like hoping that one day they would just decide to be with me when it's like why are you They said last night, why are you fighting for somebody who's not fighting for you? And I was like I was like, never thought I would get wisdom from Bachelor in Paradise, but hearing it I love that. It's great advice.

Young Hollywood

You know what, we're going to go out on that. You you just dropped the mic there. I really like Bachelor in Paradise did. Well, you brought you brought it forth. So, ladies, you are amazing. You're welcome here anytime. Let's cheers one last time.

Guest

Can we take this whipped cream with us? Oh, wait, you were supposed to do the whipped cream. Oh, we'll have it after. Okay. Why did you do that? Stop it.

Guest

Cheers to The Bold Type. Cheers.
