What's up, guys? Leslie Robbins here in the Young Hollywood studio joined by Justin Harley, Christy Metz from This Is Us. Welcome to us.
Thank you. This is great. Thanks for having us. Very fancy.
Yeah.
Let's just get right to it. You're like the most popular people in Hollywood right now.
What? Are we? That's nice. That's nice of you to say. I don't know about all that, but um this is a good reception, isn't it? It's so nice. Yeah. Just to be a part of this show has just been like the the highlight of my life, you know? Getting to know you fine people. It's one of those things, I mean, I grew up in a really small town in Florida and I was like, how am I going to get out of here? And then, of course, I had a couple of detours and you know, I think all of it really kind of prepared me for this amazing ride that we all get to be on together.
Let's go back to your this is us audition. You had under a dollar. You had under a dollar in your bank account.
True. True story. Yeah, I was like, okay. That doesn't buy you um a salad, even a hot dog. How about gas to get to the audition? Yeah, I was like, I'm going to have to borrow some money. Cuz you know, you have to have $20 to get gas, right? You have to have You guys know that, right? Yeah. Yeah, you have to have a certain amount to get gas cuz otherwise, the card won't read. I know. It was like a whole thing. I was glad I borrowed the money. Glad I went.
You're not an adult. You have more than a dollar now.
Yeah. Okay. Yeah.
So, how do you guys balance set life, real life?
One of the coolest things about this cast, I think, is our age. And there's nothing wrong with like 22, being 22 is amazing. But, being the age that I am now, like you know, when your back starts to hurt a little bit, you get a little older, I think you appreciate the finer things a little more. And our whole cast has sort of like been around, you know? And so, we know something great when we see it and and we all have this sort of, you know, fondness and and mutual love for the script.
And then, I think, you know, one other thing that's so cool about this cast is, when you see them outside of work, you all are like goofballs. Like I thought I was a goofball. I was like, wait, you included?
I am.
But everyone is. Everyone is just like so goofy. You guys are like enjoying each other's company right now. I don't like
Oh my gosh, for sure. We hardly ever get to really see one another.
Let's hang out. Let's let's hang out. Oh, do it. Yeah. Let's do it. Just want some coffee? Water? Candy? I don't. I mean, sure. Never deny. Like that's the first rule, right? And and in props. But I don't. Yeah, I just think that it's really about enjoying the time that you are away from set. But when you really enjoy your job, you're like, oh, this isn't work. So, I don't know, for me, like I love music, I love to like hang out with friends, I love to read. Alone time is very important. Very important, everybody.
She wants me to leave. She wants me she wants me to leave.
You have to like recharge. Excuse me, it's it's lady's time. We're going to chit chat. I'm getting.
Well, you're good on this is us and
This is incredible.
Young Hollywood, you are young. We're young. It's not about age, it's about attitude.
There you go. I got a lot of attitude.
You got a lot of attitude. Some. You got some sass. It can come with some sass. That's true. You got sass? Oh, speaking of sass and the goofball on set. Who's the prankster? Give me a little little BTS.
You know, it's hard to say because I mean, Chris is pretty damn funny. And he gets us all like revved up together and when we're all shooting together, we're just cracking up in between. You're funny. I know. You're really funny. I know. You're funny.
Thank you. Yeah. Uh no, we we all have our moments, don't we?
Yes. I'm going to leave you two cuz you know, like
Brother and sister, I know. We don't bicker. No, we don't. We never bicker. No. I know. Never.
