Hey, what's up guys? Nicole Kotch in the Young Hollywood studio hanging out with 13 reasons why star, Brandon Larequente, aka Jeff Atkins. Welcome.

Thank you, thank you. Happy to be here.

We're so happy to have you here too because, I mean, I feel like you're so busy. Yours on Netflix's like biggest show ever NBD. And you just got a new dog, so you're like a doggy dad now.

Yes. Yes, that's taking up a lot of my time.

Yeah. So we are actually going to play a game called high school me. Your other co-stars who have come in have played the game as well.

I did see that. I believe Devin Capton had played that, right?

They have, yes. And then Justin played it as well. Um, so you're just going to fill in the blank.

Okay.

High school me, my favorite band was

My favorite band. I don't have a band. Can I say an artist?

Yes.

Okay, my favorite artist has to be, who sang that Laffy Taffy song? Um, Oh gosh. Like D4L, I think, something like that. Yeah. That was my jam back in the day. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yep, I know.

Can you sing it?

Girl, shake that Laffy Taffy. Hey, that Laffy Taffy, girl, shake that, you see? Candy Girl.

Wow, I like that.

They actually reached out to me to do a cameo on their on tour, but I was like, you know,

Wow, really?

No, I'm kidding. I was like, that's that's cool. No, I wish. That was fun.

High school me had a crush on. So you said Angelina Jolie, but is there anyone else that you love?

No, um, I think Angelina is it. I mean, I look up to a lot of um, women in Hollywood, not just in the world, who are very powerful women, so I think I respect them in that aspect more than just just a crush, you know, it's it's it's Yeah.

Okay. High school me, my favorite show was

Ooh, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. That's a good one too. And that's still my favorite show.

And you sing the theme song?

The whole thing. The entire.

I really want you to do it right now. Go.

In West Philadelphia, born and raised, on the playground where I spent most of my days. Chillin' out, maxin', relaxin' all cool, and all shootin' some b-ball outside the school. When a couple of guys, they were up to no good, started makin' trouble in my neighborhood. I got in one little fight and my mom got scared, said, "You movin' with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air." I whistled for a cab and when it came near, I can go all day. I can go all day.

Wait, why did you stop? You were so close to being done.

I whistled for a cab and when it came near, the license plate was fresh and it dice in the mirror. If anything I could say this cab is rare, but I thought, "Man, forget it. Yo, ho to Bel-Air." I for up to a house about seven or eight, and I yelled to the cabbie, "Yo, homey, smell ya later." Look at my kingdom. I was finally there, sitting on my throne that's the Fresh Prince of Bel-Air.

Wow, good work. That was amazing.

Thank you, thank you.

You can bet that's going all over social media as soon as this is cut, just that section right there.
