You love SpongeBob?
I do. Yeah. I mean, I was part of the Nickelodeon family, so I feel like I'd be betraying my own roots if I said that I didn't like SpongeBob.
Can you do his laugh? He goes like this. He's like, Yeah, that's what he does. No, like someday, I can't really do it but.
Hey guys, it's Tracy and the Young Hollywood Studio and I'm with the beautiful Victoria Justice.
Oh, thank you.
You always look beautiful.
Thank you.
always kind of doing the choker thing.
I know, it's like my favorite thing right now. I love chokers.
Is it?
Just like, yeah, it like finishes off an outfit perfectly It's like the perfect accessory, I think.
I've been up so early, I'm like, She's in the studio. You're a trooper right now. Is there something that you're loving fashion-wise other than chokers, we know you love chokers. Other than chokers, love chokers. For summer? Is there anything that you love?
For summer, what do I love? I mean, I really like platform sneakers right now.
Oh.
I think those are really cool. I mean, I just love a good pair of like, cut off like distressed denim shorts. I feel like that's a must for summer.
Well, you look amazing in anything. I mean,
Thanks, you're so sweet.
Um, so you have a lot of other stuff that you're doing. It's kind of like, what can your fans expect?
I have a holding and development deal with Fox to do a show. So I'm kind of brainstorming with them right now. And I'm working on music a little bit again too. I have so many songs that I've written.
Was going to say, is there a new music? I'm sure all your fans always ask.
Yeah, I have lots of new music. So things in the works. Um, and I just was in the studio again the other day and yeah, I want to keep writing and and creating more stuff. So I know I've been saying for such a long time to all my fans like an album is coming soon. It's coming soon. And I don't have any set date for it right now, but I will be releasing music soon.
I mean, I don't know how you do all that you do anyway. Like you'll have to like fit time to do that. And then I know you also do a lot of charity stuff. So you're doing something really cool with JetBlue. Yes. Which is like a, it's a reading program, right to help with.
Yeah, JetBlue Soar with Reading. It's a really amazing program because I didn't realize how many children don't have access to books. Which is so crazy to me because that was such a huge part of my childhood and has helped shape who I am to this day. You know, I don't think I'd be able to do what I do right now if I wasn't such an avid reader when I was younger.
Did you have any favorite books growing up?
I loved Holes. I remember really loving that book. I loved a Jorah. Yeah. Oh, I mean, I I loved Twilight in middle school. My best friend, Audrey and I at the time, we were such dorks. We would like come home after school and like read to each other over the phone. Oh my God. It's super dorky. But yeah. So back to JetBlue, they have these book vending machines where kids have access to like age-appropriate books for like their specific age range that they can choose. And they get to keep the books. It's totally free, no strings attached, and they get to start their own library at home and get more if they want. So it's really incredible what they're doing. It's it's really awesome.
And then lastly, there were three things I know that there were really random, I saw on your Twitter of three things that you love. So I have to just tell me why you love these three things. Okay. So one is snails.
Oh yeah, I know that. I do. This is like a recent thing that I've discovered.
Why do you love snails?
I don't know. I just there's something about them. I just think they're really cute and I always feel so bad when it's been raining here, which, you know, rarely does. But then, you know, all the snails come out to play and they're so excited and it's all moist.
Oh my God, I'm freaked out that you will see snails. I would freak out if I saw a snail.
Oh no, I love them.
They're so slimy and disgusting.
They're so cute. I love them.
But the picture that there was one of like a purple one that actually did look really cute. And that was really cool. It was like a purple like velvety snail. It's crazy. And then the other thing you love is showers. Which, okay, who doesn't love showers? So I have to ask you, I mean, is there a song that you love to sing in the shower? Do you have a go-to?
The other day, I was actually singing a lot of Rocky Horror songs. They were just like so stuck in my head. I'm always singing in the shower. I don't what am I listening to right now? I love Rihanna's new album. There are a lot of songs on that album that I love. Like Love on the Brain is so good. I don't know, I listen to everything. I really do. Like tons of oldies from Hall & Oates to Amy Winehouse, one of my favorites, Lily Allen. Yeah.
And then lastly, you love SpongeBob? Is that true?
I do. Yeah. I mean, I was part of the Nickelodeon family, so I feel like I'd be betraying my own roots if I said that I didn't like SpongeBob. Um, yeah cuz who doesn't love SpongeBob?
I was going to say, um, did you meet them at Comic-Con? Cuz we got to meet them. Oh, really? And we had a video of all of the people doing the voices. We had SpongeBob, we had Squid what was his name? Squidward. Squidward. We had everybody. So it's like
That's so cool.
I'm going to have to show you the video afterwards.
Yeah, I want to see that.
Can you do his laugh? He goes like this. He's like, Yeah, that's what he does.
I've met him before though. Tom Kenny is his name and he's like the nicest guy ever. I love him. And then um, Patrick and he was like hi. Hi Patrick.
Hi, Young Hollywood. Thanks for hanging out with us. That's so cool. I can't do the voice at all. Tell me about your audition process for that, cuz wasn't it like a crazy story of what you had to do?
A little bit, yeah. There were basically like eight dudes. All different types of dudes. Really big dudes. Most of them were pretty muscular cuz you know, they're playing Rocky. And they were all oiled up to make their abs look really slick and like sexy. And I had to sing Touch Me and like crawl all over them and improvise this whole number.
What a horrible job to say it.
It was terrible. One of the worst days of my life, really. But someone has to do it and it had to me and that's fine.
