She's also an internet star and basically it's it's about the bond of four friends as they basically discover high school. Jenn's character has a crush on my best friend, I'm the older brother. I'm the very extremely protective older brother. However, I clearly am not going to let that happen. So basically I ruined this girl's high school.

Uh as she's just trying to experience life. And it's a really funny series that like you know, kids nowadays everyone can relate to even if you don't have the very protective older brother. But yeah, YouTube Red right now it's called 'Foursome'. It's really funny and Jen does a great job in it.

Did you know you always wanted to do comedy? Cuz Vine is like it's six seconds and you have to really nail it at the time.

Um, I don't know, I always have been like a goofy just like weird kid and I happened to understand like the aesthetic of video camera shooting, um, lighting and then most importantly, I think editing, I've always been just like good at it. So, you know, when I found out that I could put myself in front of a camera, it was like a no-brainer. I grew up in Ohio with my brother Jake. So it was always like making videos was a hobby, right? And then Vine came around, I blew up on the platform and it's like holy I can, I can do this. I can become

We went to uh Las Vegas, Nevada. I won $700 in Black Jack. Thanks. I uh, I spent it in international data chargers when I went to Belize. Literally all of it is gone in international data chargers cuz I did uh I I was posting all the time. I did a I did a live stream there. It was just eating up data.

Yeah, let's talk about your Facebook page. The live stream, yeah. He did the first ever live underwater Facebook video which is Can you tell me how that even works? Like you just take your phone and you're like, I'm just going to go underwater and Okay. You so pretty much. But the funniest part was you see these sharks. Well, you tell the story.

Okay. Okay, so I'm always trying to make waves. I'm always trying to shake things up a bit. You could compare me to a salt shaker. So I I figured I an underwater live stream would do just that. And so like we prepped. We got like a a board that was able to write underwater like I wrote stuff on my hands so you could like say things underwater. We got this waterproof case. We went in the water and we recorded these sharks, stingrays, just schools of fish.

And there was a lot of sharks. Like I saw like at least like 50 swarming your boat.

There was a lot of sharks. But they were nurse sharks, they don't so they don't bite but it was still a shark, you know.

Still a shark. I mean. Sharks are scary.

It was amazing, except there's no service there's no service in Belize.

I was going to say, was there how was there's no Wi-Fi?

Oh my gosh, like we're swimming in the water, right? And like when the cameras come on, we're all like, yeah, like, oh, check out the fish, whatever. And then when it when it cuts out, we're like, "No! Go, Logan, go, go, go!" And uh we were so nervous because like we didn't know what happens when it cuts out. Like, what does the viewer see? Cuz it's live. So we.

They're all going to think you're getting eaten by a shark. You're getting eaten by a shark. It would be like that moment where it's like it goes black.

Seriously. Especially cuz it it cuts out underwater it will cut out underwater, right? So I'm swimming and like you're a shark and I'm here and then it just goes black. As the audience member, what do you think? It's like I'm people are like it's a horror film in real life. Where's Logan? Yeah, yeah. It was it was pretty much jaws. But it was amazing. First ever underwater Facebook live stream. I said it like 12 times in the video. Just to. Just to ingrained it in people's minds. Yeah.

So firstly, what were you actually doing in Belize?

Okay, what was I doing? I was uh I was busy saving the ocean, Tracy.

Pretty much. No, I I I went there with Oceana. They took me there and uh we I learned about the oceans, learned about what's going down in Belize specifically and what we could do to stop it. And then uh, yeah, I'm going to make a nice little recap video of all my like underwater adventures. I did the splits underwater as well.

Underwater, there's like fish in the background, like schools of fish, it's like I'm really excited about that, yeah.

But let's go back to Vine for a second, cuz do you still you live with a bunch of Viners, right? In in the same building on Hollywood and Vine. It's convenient.

It's pretty convenient, right? Yeah, yeah. I'm Hollywood and Vine. There's there's like 18 of us living in and the and the funny part is like we all are so tight and like we're all friends with each other, right? So I knock on my neighbor's door. It's Rudy Mancuso, like we're all just right there.

And you just pretty much collaborate with each other every single day. Like people just come to your door and they're like, hey, let's just make a Vine. How do you come up with it? Like you just sit around like?

Yeah, it's you know, especially. No, no. We're all just we're all extremely just weird people but like who can function in society kind of. And uh it it lends itself very well to creative internet videos.

So what is it like going from six second videos to going to traditional TV shows, movies? That whole world.

It's okay. So I I love I love film and I love uh shooting TV stuff cuz it's it's obviously much more than shooting on a phone. And I've been blessed with the ability to to transition to more, I guess, traditional stuff. I'm obsessed with it. I love the filmmaking process. I'm I'm actually in the process of making my my own film right now, like that I wrote.

What happens?

It shoots very soon. I shot a movie called 'The Thinning', which is going to be released uh I think late summer. It's uh produced by Legendary Digital. And then I I just did Baywatch, a spot on Baywatch with the Rock. The Rock is my guy. Like I saw

he's one of your idols.

He is one of my idols. Like he's the one he's the one guy and like I told him, I was like, dude, like you're my idol, like I I just admire everything you do. Like both on and off screen, like.

Were you like fanboying when you met him? Or what would you say anything to him that or what did he say to you that

So he he was really cool. I was kind of I was standing around. He goes, "Yo Logan!" He knew me. I was like, oh! I was like, "My man!"

Who doesn't know you?

Yeah, I don't know. It's like apparently he like watches my stuff. But uh yeah, I just I didn't like fanboy. I wasn't like, oh, but like I was definitely very excited to meet this guy. Like everyone loves the Rock. He's the man. Um, and yeah, I'm hoping to actually do like a lot more stuff with him in the in the future. And I will. It's just a matter of when. He's very, very busy.

What advice would you give to people out there who really want to become you? Like they want to get into social media. Everyone's I mean there's so many things now between YouTube, between all the different apps that are out. What was your advice to

Okay.

to do it and to actually be successful.

Okay. First off, you got to be different. You got to be creative and you got to fill fill your niche, right? So like I was the crazy college kid who wasn't like afraid to be weird in front of people or like uh make myself or maybe sometimes other people uncomfortable. I think you also know have to know how to light and and shoot angles, everything that's all important. Like the aesthetic of what you're shooting, what it looks like. And then also post-production, editing. Very important, very important. So it's like a combination of a few things. You can get by if you don't but it's like it can be formalized. Like if you got these three things, you should be social media famous, I think.
