Oh, oh. Come on. This is all that. This is all that. Check it out. I don't know why I feel compelled. Do the rap, do the rap. This is the I can't. Come on. Come on. Let's go. Can you do the rap? Oh. This is proof that dreams really do come true, you guys because Kel Mitchell is hanging out with me in the Young Hollywood studio. I am so, so, so stoked that you are here. Thank you for dropping by.
Oh, thank you for having me. I'm stoked to be here. This is awesome.
Yes. Yes. I mean, we missed you, uh you know, on the set of your show, Game Shakers, but you know, we're working it out. We we made it work. Yeah. Um can we talk about that for a second? Because you know, you're you're back in the Nickelodeon family, and now you're playing a dad, which is such a trip, I think for your fans, but also, you know, how about for you?
Well, it's it's cool. Like I always say, I'm like the cool dad. You know what I mean? I'm like the dad with the pot belly coming down like, "You go over there. You go over there."
It's like I see no pot belly. I don't I don't.
I'm staying in the gym. Nah, but it's uh it's like the Uncle Jesse type of character. You know, I'm like the cool cool type of dad, you know, Double G. He's a hip-hop mogul, so it's pretty awesome. Take kids on jets and we have a lot of fun and rap songs and it's pretty awesome.
That seems like a dream role, to be a hip-hop to play a hip-hop mog
It is. You know, I watched a lot of Diddy, you know, a lot of Pharrell, you know. A lot of
You say you're copying like all their swagger. Here's your little
All of their swagger, and my gear, my clothes are pretty crazy. I mean, we have a mixture between two chains and it's pretty awesome.
It sounds awesome. Um and and I met your TV son. Yes. Um Benji Benjamin Flores, who was just like, you know, he's, "Kel's awesome." He's, he was like, "He's he's just a cool guy." That's what he said. I think we have the video somewhere.
Really? Oh, wow.
I'm paraphrasing here, but yeah.
I I love the kids on the show. They're all awesome, very talented. Always dancing, coming up with some type of joke or set and stuff. Yeah.
Have they taught you moves? Because Cree taught me the weave-whip which pretty much broke my neck. Um and and then you have some really talented kids on there, so.
Yeah. Cree's like a professional like dancer, like she's really good at.
Yeah. So have you learned some moves from them?
Definitely. Definitely. They're always.
You care to demonstrate?
They're always showing me the new moves. Well, I know a lot of the moves. You know what I mean? You know, like the Nae-Nae and, you know, the whip and the dab. Everybody's doing the dab.
Pretty good. Pretty good for sitting. I think that's that's.
Yeah. I'm always watching BB. He's always got some new move he's always doing. So. Yeah.
So at at one point, you were in their position. You know, do you give them any advice about how to handle this business at such a young age?
Definitely, all the time. Like, um it it's cool seeing it happen for them. Like, especially Cree and Madison, because it's like their first time, you know, first show. And I remember that on all that, that was like my first show. So, I know how that felt and so when when it premiered for the first time, I remember Cree turned to me and we were watching it and we had a little I had a little screening party. And I invited the kids. And uh Cree turned to me and was like, "So people are watching this right now across the world right now while we're watching it." I'm like, "Yeah." And it's like it's so awesome to just see them light up and just, you know, have their dreams come true.
Right. Yeah. And and speaking of all that, I mean, you got to reunite with some of your cast members not that long ago. Uh-huh. What was that like for you?
It was awesome. You know, it it's always great hanging out. It was like a big high school reunion, you know what I mean? It was a lot of fun. And seeing everyone and then, you know, seeing Keenan on uh the Jimmy Fallon Show. Like that was that was pretty awesome, you know, to see him put that good burger wig back on.
That must have been I mean, such a trip. Is it a trip for you that people are still so enthusiastic about all this stuff? I mean, there's like a huge '90s nostalgia wave going on right now.
It it really is. I mean, for me it never it never really stopped. It's like it's pretty crazy. Like any burger place that I go to, everybody's going, "Welcome to and in and out, home of the and in and out." Wherever I'm at.
Oh yeah, I can't go to any burger place at all. I can't and I it's probably better for for you anyway, right? I mean, in the long run. Let's just let's be real. Oh my gosh, that must be so annoying.
No, it's okay. It's okay. And if if I order something, it doesn't matter where I'm at, high-end restaurant, whatever, if I order anything besides orange soda, people freak out. Like the So it's like it's like, oh, you know, welcome to El Celo. Here's your medium rare steak. Would you like a
That is that is wild.
I think it's cool though. I think it's cool that I I was a part of people's childhood and stuff like that. So I think I think it's pretty cool. I I don't get upset about it. Like, "I'm out of here! What?" I will never come to this establishment.
Well, very good. Because because your fans have actually been blowing up my Twitter feed.
Oh, that was a setup.
It was I know. Yeah. I know. And I'm volleying back, so I appreciate it. I love that phone. Look at that phone. I got it just for you. Um and So, when I when I beamed out that you were coming in, you know, your fans have been blowing up my Twitter feed. So I just wanted to ask a couple fan questions.
Sure, sure.
Okay, so one of you have a fan out in in Wales.
Wow.
Yeah, asking. When are you touring the UK? Wales.
Wales. Anthony.
And this is Anthony. Anthony. Anthony in Wales. Yes.
Um and Wales, what's happening? Um soon. Because actually uh I do stand-up comedy as well. And I do a lot of appearances and stuff like that. So, uh the UK has been calling and calling my road manager and stuff like that. So, I I'll definitely be touring out there, do some cool stuff.
That'll be fun. That'll be good. Yeah, Anthony, you need to to keep his eye on him for his calendar. Um Tai asks, who loves orange soda?
Who wants it work? Camera or should I take it to?
I think that one right down the middle. That's right down the middle. Yeah, right there.
Kel loves orange soda. I do, I do, I do! Oh! Oh, my year was just made. This is a little monster right here. It was. It was amazing.
Oh my gosh, you just made Tai's like century. Um a lot of '90s revivals happening. Would you like to see a Kenan & Kel reunion at Reggae's?
Ooh. That would be cool. Yeah, we should do that. That would be fun. Yeah. Kenan & Kel reunion. I mean, we did the the good burger reunion, but I think that would be awesome to have everybody together. Get Ken Forey, you know, the father and all that. And everybody together. Yeah.
Yeah, that would be amazing. What a treat for fans that would be. Any chance Norman asks, uh any chance of a second Good Burger movie?
Ooh. There was a book. You know, for the fans that know that. There was a Good Burger to Go book. That was that was the sequel. Okay. Um but yeah, I mean, that could happen. You know, it's been a lot of talk about it, you know, so we'll we'll see.
I found this wild Instagram video that you posted. Okay, cuz you were you're talking about like being a dad with a pot belly and I do not buy that at all. Cuz you were doing some crazy push-ups. Oh yeah. This can you please like explain slash demonstrate? I was so impressed. It was like coordinated.
Thank you. Push-ups. I was at the gym earlier this morning at like 4:00 AM with my trainer.
What?
Shout out Confused Muscle. There you go. And you guys, you guys have to look this up because it's like, I don't know what you call this. Tandem push-ups. Yeah. Like, is that what Like? I don't know. He's like hilarious, like, it's just stuff in there. We don't use any equipment. It's all like. We just come up with he's just.
Wow. I'm fascinated by this.
I think it just gets tired of thinking. No, it was it was awesome. Like he'll he'll always come up with something else. Like, "Get on top of the bench and pull up from this way." And, you know, it's awesome though, you know. You you cut up. You work off those Good Burgers. You work off those
All those Good Burgers. Yeah. All the Good. Just lean Good Burgers. Yeah, there you go. Good healthy burgers. Yeah. Yeah. And you're going to come back. You're going to.

Let's go. Can you do the rap? Oh. Now, this is just the introduction. It's going to blow your mind and show is all of that. Yes, we do it all the time. So sit your booty on the floor when the chill drops in the air. Just don't go nowhere cuz everything we do. Uh. My posse and my crew. Where? I I dropped the ball. I got lost. I got lost in your rap. Kel, this was so No doubt. Awesome. Thank you so much. Please come back anytime. And I will have that rap memorized. And will not drop the ball like that. I just did. That was embarrassing. You guys.
