Yeah, where are you from originally?

Uh San Francisco. America.

I thought you were gonna come up with something. I thought you would say like Kazakhstan or something.

No, this is an interview. I'm trying to be honest. Kazakhstan. I would hate for that to Well, I wouldn't. Kazakhstan's a beautiful place. I'm from uh San Francisco. Oakland.

From Oakland?

Yeah, you can tell from all my swag.

Wait, do people from Oakland have swag?

People from Oakland have so much swag.

Do they? I look on your Twitter and you're not afraid to go after celebrities. Like you will make fun of them. And so many celebrities are very politically cracked. But you're like you make you're you're fun. You have fun with it.

I try. I I was stand up comedy first and then Disney just kind of was like, hey, um do us. So So I mean I was kind of pushed into the Disney thing. I'm like I'm sure Disney's never heard that before. Yeah. Yeah, hey, Disney. Do us. But um, I've done like so much with Disney, but also like still I'm a stand up first. I feel like and I'm like a writer and I do other stuff.

So you did stand up from the time you were what, two?

13. Okay. But close. Only 11 years.

What was your first joke? How old do you think you were?

I wrote a lot. Like I saw I saw the movie Funny People, the Judd Apatow movie and I was like, oh, okay. That movie was like five hours. Yeah. And I was like, I could be funnier than that movie.

Oh, really?

And so So I started writing and then my brother found it like six months after I started writing and was like, hey. You're funny.

Wow, usually a sibling doesn't tell you you're funny. My brother tells me I'm not funny.

I know. That's exactly what my brother told me my whole life. And then the one compliment he gave me, I was like, I'm gonna become a stand up comedian. But you, okay. Let's talk about the show since we're here. Yeah, we're on Liv and Maddie. Liv and Maddie. Yeah.

You were really great.

I um was doing an episode where I'm teleporting from one teleporter or it's a prank. But I'm teleporting from one teleporter to the other teleporter. And um

I mean it's not real?

I mean it's a prank for the Don't tell me. Okay, all right. So we'll just wait till you see the episode. So I'm getting into teleporter to another teleporter and I had to put a chicken in. And then I'm like petting the chicken and the gag is that I get locked in the teleporter teleporter with the chicken and then me and the chicken get like molded together. But I had to like get in this small box that was like three feet by probably two feet.

Oh, wow.

with a live chicken. While this hydraulic door was gonna shut, lights were gonna flash and the whole thing was gonna shake. And I was like the whole week this was coming up, I was like, I don't know how I'm gonna do this. Like this is a live chicken. I'm getting in this small box with it. Is that gonna be okay? And then on the day when I'm doing it, I come up to the animal handler and I'm like, hey, so like that hydraulic door in that box is really loud and I mean that thing is gonna shake. Is the chicken gonna be okay with it? And the lady goes, I mean, it's a chicken. So I was like, I don't I don't know what that means. I don't know how a chicken's gonna react. The saddest thing with the chicken was that I put the chicken in the box, and like the door closed and then like five minutes later the door opened and the chicken was in the exact same position. And that was so cute to me. I don't think I can eat chicken anymore. Just that one little act of the chicken going like, I don't get this. And then the door closing and then going like opening and going, I didn't figure anything out is like, I don't know. I gave him too much of a personality now.

Okay. What is it like being locked in a box with a chicken?

You know what? There's a lot of different ways I can go with this answer. But

Is it like being at Young Hollywood?

It's a lot like being at Young Hollywood. You're small, it's dark. There's a lot of chicks around.

You're a cat lover though, right? Do I know this? Do I have this part? Are you have two cats? Do you know their names?

Couple last questions. Biggest do of stand up and biggest don't.

The main thing with stand up is just being like getting comfortable up there. I think it's like even with stand ups that have that have really, really funny jokes, but have only been doing it for like a year, they still have that kind of stiff trying to flesh out all the beats of the jokes or trying to get the punchline down. When I think like something I figured out is that as long as I'm relaxed and have my own voice as the one that's coming through the microphone, I'm gonna be fine. I think the biggest don't is I can't stand people that don't move the microphone stand. Like the microphone stand will be in the center, then they'll take the mic and then they'll walk back and forth behind the microphone stand. It's just so distracting and it takes away from the whole thing. That's my biggest don't.

So my last question for you is a little bit of a game. I want to know your favorite animal. This is a trick. Okay. Or game.

I think my favorite animal's probably a house cat. Because, here are the three reasons. One, they do not give a about anything. Like my cats will need on my nice new couch that we got. And I can like scream at them, which they know isn't like a nice like keep going kind of voice because I'll scream at them. And they will make eye contact with me and keep going. And that is what I like. They also do things to spite you, which is cool because like a dog does everything to make you you happy or him. Like he wants attention, he'll come over to you. You're sad, he'll come over to you. Cats don't do that. Like cats, if you're sad, and you have a water bottle on the table, they will again like make eye contact with you and push the water bottle off the table. Okay. And the third thing? They're cuddly.

That's what this game means. People think Yeah. Oh it is? Yeah. All right. people pick the animal, but the qualities are how they sort of All right. Yeah. Don't give Spiteful. Oh, it is. Yeah.
