Has like 13 million views I think already on YouTube. Yeah, it's doing nice. Can you give us a little bit of like a behind the scenes scoop on how filming the video was?

Yeah. Well, I mean, the vision behind the video was for it to bring the fun and the the cute sexy element out of the song. Yeah. So, I wanted to put all of that into the visual and what we thought the best way of doing it was to just throw a party that looked like anyone and everyone could be there. You know what I mean? Like one of those parties where like, oh man, that looks like it could be in like my neighbor's backyard, right? Exactly. Yeah. So like, you know, we've done the elaborate thing. We've done the videos on the big yachts and the big night clubs and the fancy stuff. I was like, listen, let's break it down and do something which every kid could feel like, oh man, I wish I was at that party and and Sean Paul and Jay Sean happened to be there and then just hopped on stage and decided to sing a song. And uh, it was so much fun just doing that. I just wanna be close to you. And do all the things you want me to. I just wanna be close to you. And show you the way I feel. And speaking of Sean Paul, of course, you guys are good friends.

You guys have worked together before. Yeah. So, uh, how was that having him back for the song and doing the video with him?

I mean, it's it was just great cause Sean like has this yeah, exactly, and he's so used to that. It's so funny anytime anybody's with him. Yeah. They'll be like, Sean Paul. And I'm like, god, I wonder if he takes offense to that. Like, it's like we all get Sean Paul, we get like Sean Paul Tourettes. It's a weird thing. We just shout weird things. That there, out of nowhere. Oh my gosh. I do it anyway. It's like your only little little love language. Yeah, right. It was just nice. You know, it was it literally was like a real party out there. And and working with Sean on this record was as easy and as simple as me picking up the phone and saying, look, bro, I just wrote a song. I think you would kill this one. It lends itself to to your voice too. Let's do it again. And it's exactly what we did. My girl come with them who want see something I want in my life and then we're a star. Well, you're a multi-platinum selling artist. What makes this song unique or different compared to some of your other hits?

Um, I think really what I tried to do is do music that is timely. Music that feels like now. You make my love go. In the morning we can do it again. Wake up, I'm gonna do it like we just broke up and made up. Get on top of me and work up a sweat. Work up a sweat. See, we can do it any type of way that you want. I'm thinking maybe you're the right kind of wrong. I'm saying, baby, you won't ever forget my love. Hey. But also a music that could feel like a classic. And that's really difficult to do because I mean, with down and do you remember? I know that those songs will be playing for years and years and it's a really amazing thing. I mean, I still hear down on radio and it's been seven years. And covers. And just lives. And to write a song that can end up being a classic is really, I think every songwriter's dream, every artist dream. So baby don't worry. You are my only. You won't be lonely, even if the sky is falling down. You'll be my only. No need to worry. Baby, are you down down down down down? Down. Down. Baby are you down down down down down?

And you you DJ as well. Yeah. The whole fun DJ side. If you had to choose like a venue or a club or somewhere like your dream location to DJ. Right. Perform. And maybe you've already done it.

I have I've actually played Vegas and it doesn't really get much bigger than that. Vegas is every dream, is every DJ's dream. And for me, even though like I don't classify myself as a DJ because I'm I'm an entertainer. That's what I am. Yeah. And the reason I decided to start allowing my fans to see the DJ element of me, because I was like, wait, hold on, why am I holding that back? I'm an entertainer. You know what I mean? That's what I do. I like to make people happy, I like to make people dance, I like to make people's night. Imagine you go to a you're with all your best friends, you're in Vegas, or you're in Miami, and you're going out and you're having fun, and you're in a nightclub. Jay Sean turns up. Not only does he sing his own songs, he plays all the songs we love. That's so cool. And he gets up on a mic and might do a little a cappella or even a freestyle over a Jay-Z beat. And you're like, what? I'm having fun here. This is I'm getting way more than I thought I would get from an artist. So that's what I like to do that. Yeah, we're one for good. One hundred and three. Watch how you move. You know that I'm with it. Perfect size. You know that I fit it. Just let me hit it. She know me not quit it. Under the ill like classy I did him. And I want them I watch me like Sin City. Full time me running, sing me I call if you don't come give me that would be a pity. My girl, cause I don't want see something I want in my life and then waste time.

I know you're into working out. But I know you own a yoga studio, right?

Yeah, yeah, yeah. I own a yoga studio. That was like a dream of of ours. My my wife, Tara, she's a qualified yoga instructor in many different forms of yoga, by the way. And she'd been doing it for years and going to other people's classes. And we got to this point where we were like, well, why don't we start up our own business? Yeah. You know enough. You can teach, you can open it, you can run it, you can manage it, you can do all of that stuff. And you know, I can get free juice, which is brilliant. So, I can go there and get free class, free juice. And uh, yeah, it's it's a beautiful thing to be able to have a positive impact on other people's health. It's really nice. I I think one thing I've always believed in is this industry that we're in, it's beautiful. We're so I'm always so grateful to be able to do this. But sometimes I feel I'm not able to give back enough. And I know it sounds silly or cliche. But there's a lot of things that are me me me, right? I'm being interviewed right now. This is about me, my song, my video, my this, my that, my photo shoot, my everything. And then I'm like, where do we actually give back? Where do we get a chance to do that? So, you know, that's yeah. And I I think that way through the health aspect of things, if you can change people's lives for the better, add years to their life, spread knowledge that they never had before. That's why I do so many posts about my take pictures of my food. Spiritual, yeah. And and the thing because people want to know, what do you eat? What do you think? And I'm like, yeah, I'll share it with you.

Well, and and last thing, um, you know, touching on the spiritual side of it. Do you have any quotes that you love to live by? I know on your Instagram, you're always posting quotes and positive sayings. Is there anything that is like your motto?

I think my motto throughout all of them, it's hard because there's a lot of great stuff out there. But the one that I try to live by is spend so much time on self-improvement that you have no time to criticize others. And that's what I try to live by. Love it. It's very easy to go through Instagram. It Why are you pulling that look at her dress, look at her shoes, who does he think he is? We do this all the time. Mhm. But if you just focus on making yourself a better person, you won't even, you're just happy for everyone. You know what I mean?
