I am here with the star of Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2, Harry Shum Jr, amongst other things. You're sort of the star of a lot of things these days.
Hey, I'm I'm trying to just do my thing. How do you like that pillow man? I'm I'm really loving this. This is feeling real. It's like it's like a pet. Like my dog.
It is. I know. No head.
No, it is. It's it's actually alive. No legs.
Oh god. Before we started rolling, you invent You're very inventive.
I'm just trying to invent things constantly. I don't know. Things are
We decided that there should be a thing on the outside of your shower, a suction that you can be on your phone.
Yeah, where you can put your phone on outside and you can like watch your shows while you're showering but like, I mean, do you really need to watch TV while you're showering?
I do. Do you? What are you watching? What would you watch in the shower?
Just YouTube, like random, like catching up on like YouTube. Not watching a full show. Cat videos. Yes, cat videos while I'm showering like
This looks like I feel like a cat. You might want to get one after this interview. No. No, I'm I'm wondering, how do I get on one of these? Okay. I want to get on a pillow. So, who should we take off if we're gonna have to take somebody off for you to be on it? Or what if you could be the whole back of it? That would be nice. I feel like, "Hey, look at all these guys." and Harry, right here. No. This is what you need. It goes with your outfit, though. It does. Totally. So, first of all, this this has been 15 years since Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.
The choreographer from Kill Bill, Master Yuen Woo-Ping. He's a legend in the martial arts world. I mean, he's 70 years old too.
Is he really?
Yeah, and this guy, he he's he's just jumping on tables showing us choreography and I'm like, Oh my God. I can't do it that well. So.
When you watch somebody like that work, is it a collaboration or what happens? Because you're you're obviously great with dance, movement, all that kind of thing.
Master Yuen Woo-Ping, you do what he says, and you know, he's gonna make you look good on that screen.
And there you are. There I am. Doing it. Holdin' that green destiny baby. Holdin' your spray tan position. We were talking about this before. They don't even know what we're talking about. We're talking about Do you want to tell them what we're talking about?
Oh my gosh. You just created a new way for spray tans to take place. Well, I'll just ask you know, like, "Whoa, it's just someone just like sit there and just spray you?" I'm just like, "Yeah." I was like, "Well, isn't it weird? You gotta like put your arm up. Put your left arm up. But the way you did it was so pretty. Like I do it, it's just embarrassing. It's just holding. It would be funny if you like There's choreography where they just like You follow in the front Really? I swear.
Wait, I have a whole new idea for you because you you've done the Oh man. Spray tan choreography? Yes. Because they do. They make you go like this. No. Oh my God, I love it. Do you have any hidden talents?
Uh, mine are pretty weak. I mean, I can do this. It's not even a talent. It's just Oh my gosh.
Wait, is that Are you are you? Like a double joint. Are you double jointed?
Uh, I could pretend to fight.
Are you good at sword fighting at this point?
You know, if someone came at me crazy, I think I could scare them away. Okay. But when it actually came to actually fighting them,
Right.
Uh, you know, I think they could dismantle me in a couple moves.
What's your best move, do you think, at this point?
You know, there's this martial arts where we love there's a beauty and grace behind it, and you know, it's like a dance. But I think the easiest way is just pokin' someone in the eye like you know. And you know, you blind them and then you can start punching away.
Good tips for girls out there. Girls out there, if someone tries to attack you, you just give them like Oh, hey, how are you? And then you just, oh god, oh god and you start punching them. Now, how do you scare somebody away?
My dad used to always like, "Don't go out at night," you know, when I was a kid. I was like, "Dad, I'm okay. I'm fine." And I told him like, "This is what I do when I uh walk by someone that I feel is like threatening to me. I'm just like, just go nuts and start hitting yourself. And they're not gonna mess with you because they think you're crazy. You gotta be more crazier than them. You gotta out-crazy the crazy.
Yeah, you gotta out-crazy the crazy. And that's how you scare someone away. I love it. Yeah, that's gonna be a gift. I feel like Netflix is taking over the world. Those guys are killing it. You know, they're killing it.
Netflix is killing it and I I think what's what's great is just it's become something that it's normal. What are you gonna do? You gonna Netflix? You know, let's Netflix or there's that other thing.
What are you watching when you're Netflix and chilling? Don't you not watch anything? You're not watching anything when you're Netflix and chillin', right?
Really? I never knew that.
Oh, whoops. I just taught you something. Is that what people mean? They're actually not watching anything?
Well, I mean, no, there it's on. It can mean many things. It can mean you're Netflixing and you're chillin' or it can mean you're Netflixin' and chillin'.
Everybody's all about the selfies these days and Instagram. You're really good with the action selfie.
Action selfie. Yeah.
What is what is You're just like you're always in motion, I feel like. But it's not an easy thing to accomplish. It's doing action selfie properly. Really?
Although, I used to do these things where if you if you ever put the video on and actually, if you hold this still and it's almost like a steady cam and you do this, and you move around with it.
That's what I'm talking about. Oh, that thing. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah. That one's fun. One, two, three. Whoa. That's right. You gotta go with it. You gotta go with it. You gotta go with it. Oh my god, this is so much fun. There you go. Oh my god, this is so much fun. Oh my god, this is so much fun. This is the most fun I've ever had. selfie. Thank you for coming in. Action selfie. Congratulations.
Thank you so much.
On all your success. Come back anytime. Yes. And pet Mr. Softy, I know. You can take him.
Ah, yes. You know you want him. I'm taking him. And I hope to get on this pillow soon. See you in spray tan booth.
