Young Hollywood

And please zoom in, I'm sure Zac Efron is not a moody person in real life. No. There's just otherwise. So wait, let me let me get this right. You've had roommates in LA, right?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Yes.

Young Hollywood

So you've walked around the house naked when they've been out.

Nathaniel Buzolic

I'm not saying that I've done this.

Young Hollywood

Well, you've just said it.

Nathaniel Buzolic

I'm saying I've clearly. I'm saying that I've I've thought about doing it.

Young Hollywood

Right, right. I'm here with Josh Zuckerman and Nathaniel Buzolic. It's so hard to say both of your names at the same time. How did I do?

Josh Zuckerman

You did good.

Young Hollywood

Did I get it right? Cuz I know people butcher your names. Was it 'Lich' or 'Lich'? Can I just say 'Boz'?

Nathaniel Buzolic

You can say 'Boz'. It's it's all I'm going to

Josh Zuckerman

I've been saying it wrong for the last three months.

Young Hollywood

Did you just learn what your co-star's name is?

Josh Zuckerman

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Congratulations. You know, it's a difficult name. And yet you're Aussie. You're just screwing everybody up.

Nathaniel Buzolic

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

You just like to keep people guessing, right?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Yeah, I play an American, you know, on this. I'm Australian. My family's from Croatia, so it all gets a little complicated.

Young Hollywood

Oh gosh. Do you need the whole an accent for an entire series? I as I imagine, it's not an easy thing to do.

Nathaniel Buzolic

Um, no, you know, I enjoy playing American, actually. It's fun.

Young Hollywood

Why? Cuz it's like you just sort of become someone else completely different when you change your voice.

Nathaniel Buzolic

Yeah, I guess you're an actor, right?

Young Hollywood

Yeah, right.

Nathaniel Buzolic

So it's like that's my living. But it's it's it was interesting to see because I know a lot of actors when they when they do shows and they're playing an accent, they'll stay in their accent the whole day. But I don't do that.

Young Hollywood

You can go back and forth?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Jump back and forth.

Young Hollywood

Should we test him? He's not really a Daniel Day. Uh

Josh Zuckerman

No, yeah, we should we should give him some tongue twisters and see if he can play.

Young Hollywood

Let's do it. Let's do it.

Nathaniel Buzolic

There were some tongue twisters on this show that were so difficult to say.

Young Hollywood

Really?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Yeah, they would put like words together that make a Ginkgo biloba. Ginkgo biloba was a tough one.

Young Hollywood

Can he still Can you do it in American? Can you do American? Do an American accent. So if I said Ginkgo biloba. You know. Oh, but see he's practicing. He's a well practiced now. Let's throw him something else. Uh, uh, can you do how much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood? You could never do it. That's okay.

Nathaniel Buzolic

How much wood could a woodchuck chuck wood if a woodchuck would what?

Young Hollywood

Yeah, see, it doesn't make sense. Does he pass?

Josh Zuckerman

He pass.

Young Hollywood

We'll give him a pass on that one. Yeah, okay. It's all right. American accents. Um, so wait a second. So 'Significant Mother'. It took me a second. It took me to get the other pun.

Josh Zuckerman

I thought you just realized how we knew each other.

Young Hollywood

No, no, no, no. I've been trying to figure it out this whole time. I know we know each other from somewhere. I don't know. Could be romantic. It could. Who knows? Could have been a blind date. Anything can happen at Young Hollywood. You just never know. You just never know. I don't know where that just came out of. I'm really sorry. I do apologize. I I, yeah. I just the whole situation's so uncomfortable.

Josh Zuckerman

Yeah, that's awesome.

Young Hollywood

Do I feel like a third wheel? I do a little bit. Do you guys need a minute?

Josh Zuckerman

It's good tension. There's a lot of.

Nathaniel Buzolic

I feel like I'm the third wheel now.

Josh Zuckerman

It's a lot of tension.

Young Hollywood

Oh, that's what we said. Yeah, I feel this tension just here. Josh, relax. You eat a lot of waffles. What's that about?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Okay, well, yeah, first of all, I love my waffles.

Young Hollywood

58 days in a row?

Nathaniel Buzolic

No, it's more now. That was a couple of weeks ago.

Young Hollywood

So you kept the street going?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Still going. I have a waffle every single morning. But the thing is, a lot of people probably think I'm eating like a really unhealthy waffle. It's actually very, very healthy.

Young Hollywood

Okay.

Nathaniel Buzolic

It's like no carbohydrates in it. I just use

Young Hollywood

Is that quinoa or something?

Nathaniel Buzolic

No, no quinoa. Uh, just egg whites.

Young Hollywood

Have you become one of those LA people?

Nathaniel Buzolic

I've become, yeah, it's oh, it's it's destroyed me. Yeah, I'm very LA now. Um, I mean, the problem was I had to find something where I felt like I was cheating and eating like cake or something or some sort of unhealthy snack every morning cuz I had to get into really good shape for this.

Young Hollywood

You have to be shirtless a few times on the show.

Nathaniel Buzolic

Fair bit, yeah. So I I created a a waffle that's really, really good for you, full of protein. No carbohydrates and it felt like you were eating cake every morning. So it was very tasty.

Young Hollywood

You've tried it?

Josh Zuckerman

I I tried a bite or two of his waffle.

Young Hollywood

Such nice co-stars. You were just like, get along. Do you finish each other's sentences at this point?

Josh Zuckerman

Yes.

Nathaniel Buzolic

No, we yeah, don't.

Young Hollywood

You're anticipating what the other's going to say. We're going to. So you're going to give us a synopsis of the show.

Nathaniel Buzolic

synopsis of the show. I can't even talk in American. Yeah, okay. Um, yeah. So so essentially what this show is about is you have, um, best friends. And you've got Nate, who is a a restaurant owner in Portland. He goes away for a bit. He comes back and he finds out that his best friend has started a relationship with his mom. That's her. Yeah. Which is her. The imaginary Krista Allen here. Let's just have Zac Efron play. Let's have Zac. He's so me. Okay. Um, yeah, he's just angry. He's right there. And please zoom in, I'm sure Zac Efron is not a moody person in real life. No. There's just otherwise. Um, anyway, so so that's basically the story. So I I I I I convinced myself as Jimmy that this is a good idea to start a relationship with my best friend's mom and the awkwardness that comes from that is what the show is created by. So we often talk about this. It's going to be weird when someone comes up to us a fan of the show and says, hey, I I relate to the character of Jimmy cuz when I slept with my best friend's mom. Um, it was just this really awkward thing and I'm going to be like, yeah.

Young Hollywood

We have to go to HR and prepare for the real world. Yeah, real world. You have to give some real world scenarios. Those tweets ready, people. Confessional. It could be become a big confessional. Um, so based on your lovely synopsis. A couple quick questions, just like a little game. Is it okay to date an acquaintance's mom?

Josh Zuckerman

I think we should ask Siri. Siri. Uh, an acquaintance's mom. Should know this.

Young Hollywood

In other words, so if it was if it was If it was like a friend. Your co-worker's mom.

Josh Zuckerman

Yeah yeah. Or like a do you know, your friend, but you may meet the other friend out of a bar. It's like kind of like I I think that that would be fair game.

Young Hollywood

That's fair. Okay.

Josh Zuckerman

I I think that that, I mean, it would certainly ruffle a few feathers, but I think that's enough separated from uh uh from the from the home territory that the it would be okay. It should be allowed.

Young Hollywood

Now, how about if it was your best friend's mom? Okay. I guess that's the big question the show. Let's make this real. Josh, what's your mom's real name?

Josh Zuckerman

No, no, no. I don't think this is highly uncomfortable. And as much as my mom I'm sure has a crush on you, I don't think

Young Hollywood

Josh We're doing an interview. This is for TV. What's your mom's real name?

Josh Zuckerman

All right, I'm doing this for you. All right. This is. Yeah. Sandy.

Young Hollywood

Sandy. Why is that funny? You can't have an affair with somebody named Sandy.

Josh Zuckerman

I know that's a good name. Sandy. My mom is an attractive woman.

Young Hollywood

Is she? Um, Sandy, if you're watching, um, dinner. No, wait. This is This is I didn't say you could propose it. It's an experiment. I just want to see how.

Josh Zuckerman

We're doing a hypothetical.

Young Hollywood

Oh, hypothetical. Okay, okay. So Sandy, if you're involved in doing a hypothetical. Thursday night, Chateau Marmont. No, see, it doesn't work. It's really wrong. It's it's. Would you be that uncomfortable?

Josh Zuckerman

I think it's highly uncomfortable.

Young Hollywood

What would make it uncomfortable? Could you imagine me kissing Sandy?

Josh Zuckerman

No, I don't even want to go there.

Young Hollywood

Why not?

Josh Zuckerman

Like cuz it's just wrong. Don't touch my mom. I'm glad she lives out of state. So yeah, it's it it gets very, very awkward.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, you see? Is it okay cuz you walk in I know, I've only seen the trailer, but you walk in on you naked. Is it okay when your roommate to walk around? If you don't think the person's going to be home.

Josh Zuckerman

Uh, if you don't think the person's going to be home, I think that's okay. Free the territory's free.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, I mean, that's part of the, you know, that's part of the celebration of of having the space to yourself. While that person's away. So, wait, let me let me get this right. You've had roommates in LA, right?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Yes.

Young Hollywood

So you've walked around the house naked when they've been out.

Nathaniel Buzolic

I'm not saying that I've done this.

Young Hollywood

Well, you've just said it.

Nathaniel Buzolic

I'm saying I've clearly. I'm saying that I've that I've thought about doing it.

Young Hollywood

Right, right. And last but not least, is it okay because you're shirtless on the show. Both of you shirtless on the show, sometimes?

Josh Zuckerman

No, no, thank you.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Is it okay to do push-ups before a take?

Josh Zuckerman

Push-ups, you kidding? I would never do that. I would never do a single push-up or bicep curl.

Josh Zuckerman

Or you know, lap pull down. Or or burpees. Or yeah, like lunges, squats. I just, you know, like, you know, the thing that I have in common with Stephen Amell is we we were naturally born like this. You know.

Nathaniel Buzolic

I'll tell you a funny story. Uh, Stephen Amell, uh, I was his roommate for a very, very short time. He was very, very kind to let me stay at his house.

Young Hollywood

Is he the person that walked in your room?

Nathaniel Buzolic

Uh, no, no. Stephen would not come in my room. He let me stay at his house for a little while. Uh, Stephen Amell, um, obviously he's from from Arrow. He's a very sporty, well-known actor. Very well-known actor. Um, I was sleeping on his couch, um, cuz obviously in Hollywood that's how we all start off sleeping on couches cuz we can't afford rent. Um, and he would some mornings wake up and he'd be topless and I hope he doesn't mind me telling this story. But um, it's obviously making him look better anyway, so why wouldn't he? But um, yeah, he would come up and he's just so jacked and so ripped and and he, you know, he drinks beers and he just eats like a normal human being, like, you know, and and he looks so good and it's so depressing. I used to wake up and be so depressed. Cuz, you know, like you could be I'd be on the strictest diet and I wouldn't have his body and then he'd just walk out and just Eating like a cheeseburger. Like back in beer and it's like, Stephen Amell, everybody. I think you're doing all right. Yeah. Thank you for letting me stay at your place, Stephen. And I don't think you should under sell, like, you know, how amazing you you're uh your abs are. What do you think? Did you see him?

Josh Zuckerman

I didn't.

Young Hollywood

Did you want to?

Nathaniel Buzolic

No, no, we're we're we're bulking at the moment. We call it bulk season. Yeah. Okay, we're bulking and then we're

Young Hollywood

Why would you come into Young Hollywood in your bulk season?

Nathaniel Buzolic

No, that's why that's why Zach was angry cuz he probably asked him the same question.

Young Hollywood

Can we see your abs? I did ask him that. Um, it was great having you guys here. Yeah. The show is 'Significant Mother'. Check it out. If you can't tell how funny these two are, they're really funny. That was awkward. Monday nights. If you'd like to say take us out. Say goodbye to Sandy. Say goodbye to Zach. Don't say goodbye to my mom. Sandy, if you're watching this, thank you for your support, your love, your affection over the last three months. Um, I didn't realize we were like I'll call you later. I love you, mom.
