Hi Ty kinda sounds like surfing, when you go, "Hi Ty!" Hi Ty! The movie, um, Scouts Guide, is described as raunchy, scary, and funny. Those are three I was like, trying to pair. Like, raunchy and scary. I was like, does that work? And then scary and funny, it's like kinda cool, huh?

Yeah. It's a bit of fun. I guess it's a bit like Zombieland, and it's a bit like Superbad. Because there are three characters that are kind of best friends and the way they get on with each other is really funny. We're fine. Everything's under control. So yeah, it's really fun. It's really raunchy. It's just a, it's just a really fun, silly, uh, zombie comedy.

Were you a fan of zombie comedies before, or just zombie movies before?

I was, I, I really enjoyed Zombieland. Yeah. And when I when I read this movie, I I saw a lot of I I saw that it was very similar to that film. So, I feel like it's very similar in tone and and story.

Your character Ben in the film is a boy scout.

Mhm.

Were you ever a boy scout growing up?

No, but I spent a lot of time, a lot of hours in the woods. Yeah. I grew up hunting and fishing in Texas.

Nice. Are do you still live there currently or are you in LA now?

I still live in Austin.

Okay, cool. So then you're kinda commuting. You have like the ultimate commute. Some people are complaining about their commute in LA. You're like, I know. I've got I've got a three-hour flight, guys. Listen, I'm just Is that kinda cool though, to be able to come to LA for work and to to go home and stay kinda grounded and rooted there?

Yeah, it's great. I love that I don't live here. Um, I love the city and I have such a great friend group here. But I would never live here. Just because I enjoy visiting so much.

Yeah. And then you'll like it when you come to visit. Otherwise.

Of course. I feel like you have to you have to get out every once in a while. Right?

Exactly. Okay. In a zombie apocalypse, who would be on your team?

Aaron Rodgers.

Yeah. Just Aaron. Just Just Ty and him.

Yeah. I love Aaron Rodgers. He's my favorite quarterback. That's awesome. And he dates Olivia Munn, who's who's the next man. And I got to go go-karting with Aaron and Olivia and the rest of the X-Men cast and it was so much fun.

How about of your past or current co-stars? Who else is gonna be on your team?

Nicolas Cage.

Nicolas Cage. You got to get a girl in there. Yeah. Come on.

I'm trying to I'm trying to pick. Jessica Chastain.

Okay. We can Yeah, that's a pretty That's a good team. She could just distract the zombies. She's going to space a lot and stuff. So I'm sure she'd be good in an apocalypse.

Yeah. Exactly.

Okay. And what would be your weapon of choice? Because in the movie, your weapon is kinda like a weed wacker kind of looking thing, right?

Yeah, it's like a pretty much just like a weed wacker with knife blades.

What would be your weapon of choice?

I I really enjoyed using my weed wacker, actually. I might stick to it. And then I would have like, um, I don't know. Maybe get some grenades and some smoke bombs and

Amazing. And where would you go?

I'd go somewhere where there's ocean and it's heavily forested. Maybe the Northwest.

I'm taking this. Okay. I'm going to I'm going to take you take this advice and and soak it all in so then I can now prepare myself.

Can I be on your team?

You should definitely do it.

And then really quick, we're gonna talk about some other skills. Scouting skills. So, on a scale of one to ten, what is your skill level for camping?

Three.

Three. You say you're outdoorsy.

Yeah, but I didn't camp too much growing up. I'm just kidding. Maybe a six.

A six, okay. That's decent. How about cooking?

Nine.

A nine. Wow. That's pretty impressive. You cook a lot. You weren't expecting that, right?

No, I wasn't. I love to cook.

First aid.

Four or five.

Four or five. Okay. Yeah. You don't want to you don't want to keep it pretty like level there. You know what I mean? You don't want to like say you're a ten and then have somebody like need the Heimlich and you're like, I don't know. I actually lied. I mean what if you break your leg? I don't know what to do.

Yeah. I know.

Wilderness survival.

Eight or nine.

Eight or nine. Okay. And then pioneering. Which I'm not quite sure what that means, but it was like in the the official list of scout skills.

I'm neither. Maybe a six.

A six, okay. Awesome. And then I have a fan question for you as well. This is from Mary Jane O'Con. She's really excited to ask you a question, by the way. So, this is from Mary. She said, "What is a role from a film that you love that you would want to be cast in a remake of?"

Let's see. I think there's so many great roles in so many great older films, but I would hate to pick one of those because I would never want to remake something that's already great.

Okay. Well, there you go, Mary. That's for you. And then um also, she added, "P. S. Want to go out sometime. I love you." So, if you're single, Mary Jane really wants to to hang out with you. And then she and then she also uh wanted to add her other question is when is she going to meet and marry you? So, yeah.
