What is it over the shoulder? Isn't that how it works? Yeah, ready? So. Mhm. One, two, three. I'm Jon Snow. She's Cersei. And anything can happen. Here with the fabulous Josh Lawson. Good to see you.
Wow, good to be called fabulous. Thank you.
You are fabulous.
Oh, I appreciate that.
Little death is fabulous. And the funny thing is, is I was trying to figure out, cuz I know you wrote, directed, and you starred in it. The little death, like, I wonder what was the meaning behind it?
Yeah, so it's from the French, La Petite Mort, that means
You can't say it, can you? That's a full letter word. We've never tried it before. It's a first. You know what? You're going to get mail.
I hate mail. It's sort of about the what goes on behind closed doors. Yeah. I think you can't really do a film about and relationships without making it about love. You know, because that just wouldn't be truthful. There's so much. It's all sort of intertwined. Um, but uh, you know, I think I wanted to talk about that moment in in a relationship where, you know, it's you know, you love someone and you're like things are going really well, and you're getting closer and closer, and then there's that really awkward moment where you go, by the way, this is what I'm into. Is that cool? Are we into the same thing? And uh, I just find that that's such a brilliant interesting moment in any relationship. And can so beautifully awkward.
Oh, it's the it's the best and the worst. Like. Or not, up to you. You know. I don't wanna whatever. So, it doesn't really mean that much to me. I just sort of like came to me. Yeah. I'm not married to the to the whatever. So, do you have any particular and I'm not talking in a sexual nature, but any particular fetishes? Because I'm really into hair. I'm really into eyebrows.
And in what way? How how so?
I don't know. It's just I'm just into it. Like good hair. It's just like It's just good.
Right. I mean, do you want the hair of the person you're with or just random hair around the room?
Oh, it could be anybody. Doesn't matter. You just like on Instagram, it could be anywhere. You just like on the floor of a barber shop. That's that's I could sit in a barber shop all day and watch people get their hair cut. Yeah. Yeah.
Good. I'm getting ideas for the sequel now.
So, that's What I thought was really sweet in the movie is in your particular relationship, you just really want to please. Like, it's kind of about the man's struggle to please the woman. And you you go to the utmost length. I don't see a lot of guys going really out of their way to please.
Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, in that way. It's sci-fi fiction.
Exactly. It's a foreign concept. Yeah. Outside of L. A. , there is a thing called love. And, uh, and not narcissism. Your Twitter is hilarious, by the way.
Right, thanks. I wasn't.
Um, the tweet about I've lied about pretty much everything. Is that because of House of Lies? Is that a House of Lies reference, or what was that?
Maybe it is. Maybe it isn't.
Are you a liar?
No, I don't know. I was just feeling particularly, uh, deceptive that day, I think. Doing House of Lies, I certainly appreciate a good liar. I I I can appreciate the, um, the artistry of what it takes to be
Oh. Do you tell? Well, I mean, Marty Kaan, for us, well, Don Cheadle plays Marty Kaan. Yeah. You know, we we do a lot of research on management consultants. They they're amazing at at telling people what they want to hear. So, give me one tip for a good lie. You gotta maintain is it maintaining eye contact or is it,
Yes. I I think that is part of it.
Or is it if you stare too hard, then it's like also It's a fine line, isn't it?
I'm not great at maintaining eye contact, actually.
You do pretty well.
I'm okay, but I I do get my eyes sort of dart off. People tend to not want to hold a gaze longer than three seconds.
Um, I didn't realize that. What happens after three seconds?
They get uncomfortable.
Are you uncomfortable?
Yeah. There it is. And so was the audience.
Yeah. Good. And Game of Thrones. What are you gonna do now that the hiatus is on?
I don't I don't know. I don't know. I've I imagine I'll still
Will you be okay?
I'll I'll still dress up like, um, you know, like I'm on the night's watch every Sunday. Sure. Get a drink my goblet and, you know, turkey leg, you know. My girlfriend and I, we, uh, we role play for sure. I'm Jon Snow. She's Cersei. And, uh, anything can happen.
I read something really funny. You hosted Wipeout in Australia?
I did. I did. Yeah.
So, you're hot you've done some hosting?
I've done some hosting, yeah.
Yeah, not bad. You you've got a future in this biz, kid. Yeah. Just, um, as a last little thing. I did see on your Twitter you do like a good photo booth.
I love photo booths. I'm I'm obsessed with them. If I I I can't walk past one without jumping in it.
Do you wanna do a little role playing with me into the camera? And we'll do like a little photo booth situation.
Sure. Let's do it.
What's pay homage to the film? Doctor? Oh, doctor? Okay. Doctor doctor patient. Okay. I'm the patient.
No, no. We don't we're not together, doctor and the patient.
How about it? I mean, it can happen. Yeah, you have two months to live. Okay. Ready? Yep. One, two, three. You have told me that you only have two months to live now. So, we'll turn the table and then it's my reaction to you. Okay. Okay, ready? Okay. We're on the 405 in L. A. Oh God. I'm in the HOV lane. I'm by myself. You're next to me and you're not impressed. Oh. Should we do a hair salon one?
Sure. You you seem to be doing that with all of them, by the way. But I I I can try with my long lustrous locks.
What is it over the shoulder? Isn't that how it works? Yeah, ready? So. Mhm. One, two, three. Honestly, pretty even there. This was great having you here. It was not at all embarrassing. Thanks for playing along. Should we go should we go out with that word? Well, yeah. What? Along? Embarrassing. Oh, the word. Oh, the O word. Yeah. We'll just say the O word. Okay. Well, everyone have a grand
