Tsatsot, tsatsot, pitsatsot. I just sounded like pizza. Oh, okay. Tsatsot, pitsatsot. There's no I. Tsatsot, pitsatsot, lagabot.
Lagabot. Yes, what does that mean?
That means bombs to the eyebrows.
Wait, what? Hey guys, Argy Cleo here from the Young Hollywood Studio hanging out with me on the couch, Yael Grobglas. Hello! How did I do? I've been practicing. I've been practicing. Yes, um, you, you look gorgeous by the way.
Thank you, as do you.
Thank you. And we're just told that our dress is matched the background, which is obviously on purpose. And clearly, we planned it. I mean, just through our minds, right? ESP right there. Petra, who you play on Jane the Virgin, such a great character. When people meet you, do they do they want to hate you? Because because she's she's kind of like a hateable character. But you also kind of, I don't know, I have a soft spot. I'm getting a soft spot for her.
Oh, thank you. Uh, well, I think people don't expect me to smile as much and to be as friendly on the street. I've honestly never had to explain so much that I'm nice. Like, don't don't be afraid of me, children. Like really, I don't bite. I'm okay. I'm not gonna manipulate you. Yeah, it's fun. It's just been a ton of fun to play this kind of character. It's my first time playing a villain, so it's been incredible.
And how does playing a villain stack up to playing, you know, the good girl? The nice girl.
Um, well, you can get up to a lot more mischief. And for me personally, as an actress, the first time with my character, she doesn't care about what people think about her. So that's not her motivation. She doesn't have to be nice. She just kinda looks out for herself, which is a whole different way of looking at a character. It's just been fascinating.
Right. Right. What what is your relationship like with the rest of the cast members? Are you guys
It's been amazing. Yeah. Because I actually moved here for the show. I'm Israeli, and I moved over here a year and a half ago, and we started filming, and they've been a second family for me. And we're not only lucky enough to be filming content, you know, our amazing writers and everything and filming a show that we love, and we love what we do and we love our characters, but having such a strong bond with everybody there. And it's not just the actors. It's everyone. It's really you should come visit.
Yes, you see what I'm talking about? Please. I will show up and we'll
smiling and and hugging and and it's everybody who comes on the show is surprised by how much we hug. Is we hug we're hug zees.
Really? Really? You're not just like air hugs, but like actual
No, it's like
Okay, we'll have to you'll have to demonstrate. Some love. Jane the Virgin love. I love that. You guys shoot out in Manhattan Beach and you said that you're originally from Israel. Um, how are you liking LA?
I'm loving it. I'm loving it. I'm loving every moment. The only complaint is that the water is colder. It's yeah. The Pacific Ocean is pretty big. I know. cuz back home it's not an ocean it's just kinda a sea the Mediterranean. Yeah. And it's warm all the time and when you're like, oh, I need to get used to the temperatures.
And you haven't tried surfing yet, is is what I heard.
Well, okay, no, I I surfed once.
Okay, you okay, you surfed once.
Back home. The waves are smaller. It's safer. No sharks. But my first surfing experience actually there was uh there we had like an attack of jellyfish or whatever. And they're not extremely harmful, but they will sting, but it's not like deadly or anything. It's not like Australia. Yeah. Um, and uh, and my reflex obviously seeing a jellyfish, didn't know what to do instead of just like dodging it, I kicked it. Which is probably not the right thing.
Which is probably as a surfer yourself. Right. You probably know this is not the the correct You know. So you got don't go back there.
Well, it literally burnt the skin off my foot. I think I still have a scar when I'm really tanned. Yeah. Um, so I haven't been back to it yet. See, it's the creatures here are actually more deadly than back home.
That that is wild. Well, I'll have to take you out. We'll put you in, you know, full wetsuit.
Yes, like space suit or diving.
Yes, we'll put a helmet on.
We'll put a helmet on me. Pretty much. I'll Yes. That's that's how I'll go.
So, I was wondering if you could help me out a little bit. Okay. You speak Hebrew.
I do.
I do not. Okay. But the Internet told me some interesting words in Hebrew, so I'm wondering if you can help me out.
If you take me surfing, I'll teach you Hebrew.
Oh, I love this. Done. And then teach me the Jane the Virgin hug at the end. Um, okay. So, I'm just gonna throw out a couple words. You can help me with my pronunciation. Um, tell me what they actually mean. Okay. If I say anything dirty, I'll just go to
Yeah, please take that out.
That out. Um, and if I slaughter your your mother tongue, I'm really really sorry. Okay.
I'll forgive you.
Um, Sababa. Sababa. What is
You have to say, actually, the surfer that works really well. Sababa is kind of like chill. It's kind of like awesome.
Oh, awesome. So, like I'm super Sababa right now. Like, how are you doing? Sababa. Okay. Oh, alright. I like that. I'm just gonna start using that.
I know, it's really great.
I'm gonna make it happen. I think it works for LA. I think it really fits the LA kind of like attitude. Sababa. I like that. Mag'niv and Aklah.
Okay, that was slightly butchered.
Oh. How do you say it?
Mag'niv.
Mag'niv.
Mag'niv. Like magnificent. That is so cute. You're saying it in a really adorable way.
Mag'niv. What is it?
Mag'niv. It's like cool. Really cool. Yeah.
Okay, so it's different from Sababa, which means like awesome. Awesome, okay, but Mag'niv is like sweet. Okay. So, what's something that's like really Mag'niv? Like your shoes are Mag'niv. Oh. Okay. Oh, it's like magnificent, but like not, right?
Kinda, it's more it's more like super cool.
Okay, super cool. Yeah. So your dress is Mag'niv.
Thank you. Yes. And I'm gonna teach you one that you don't have on your card. If you want.
Okay. Yes. What? Tsatsot. Tsatsot. Tsatsot. Pitsatsot. Oh. No, no, no. I just sounded like pizza. Oh, okay. Tsatsot, pitsatsot. There's no I. Tsatsot, pitsatsot, lagabot.
Lagabot. Yes, what does that mean?
That means bombs to the eyebrows.
Wait, what?
I know. Yes. In English? It literally means bombs to the eyebrows, but it's like awesome. It's like lagabot. Oh, Tsatsot lagabot. So, I'm just gonna stick with Sababa. I think Sababa's a good one. Before we go, I know Petra has some pretty awesome happy dance moves. Can we talk about that for can we like break that down a little bit? Okay. So, cuz cuz from what I saw, it was like, uh, yeah, like a Monica from Friends things like sort of.
Okay. So, Jane's kinda more chill than Petra. Petra's a little uptight, as we know, right? So, I was thinking my real life happy dance is probably closer to Jane's, but trying to do, you know,
So, what's real life? What's like the real life one? Is it like
It's kinda a little, I don't know. Are you a cheer dancer? I'm a kinda cheer dancer. I don't I don't know what I'm doing. That's not real That's not it. That's not it. And then Petra's Petra's is a little more Petra's Petra's has to be kinda more stiff, you know what I mean? So, it's like a little bit more.
Yael, thank you so much for dropping by. Thank you for helping me with my Hebrew.
Absolutely. I'm ready.
We will keep working on this. We will keep working on this. Absolutely fantastic. Oh, thank you so much. You're a big Jane the Virgin hug. Please come over here. We have to Can we stand or do we have to sit for camera? Let's just sit. Whatever. Whatever.
