Young Hollywood

You guys just said this is the first time the three of you have interviewed together?

Guest

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

That's exciting. Are you excited?

Guest

Yeah. I think we're, I think we're a little nervous too.

Young Hollywood

Are you nervous?

Guest

just kind of like my hands are kind of

Young Hollywood

Am I making you nervous?

Guest

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Really? Why? I know you were trying to read my, you were trying to read my cue cards. I said, if anybody can read this chicken scratch. I can't even read my own writing.

Guest

I was trying to get a head start, but it looks like a football play in there. There's like circles and diagrams and everything.

Young Hollywood

That's kind of what it is. And people use the word amazing for Maze Runner yet. Every time I say. Every time, anything. I thought I was being original. It's so unfair. Yeah. I thought, I was so hoping you guys were going to say, no, nobody said that before. They can people say that one. Um, there's been, there's been a lot of talk about the pink party bus that you guys had.

Guest

Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

What is it, what is it? It had a pole, it had fur on the walls. Could you sort of describe this was, you guys would go out together in town when you weren't filming, because you guys like you said, you guys were great friends. Yeah. Um, could you sort of describe how that pink party bus came about and, you know.

Guest

Okay. Well, first we're like, okay, we have to go to New Orleans. Right? Yeah. And, uh,

Young Hollywood

Cuz you were shooting in Baton Rouge, right?

Guest

Well, it's the safest way to do that. Because we all want to have fun. We're like, why don't we just get a party bus? So I spent a whole day trying to organize it. Second guest: Well, you guys did nothing.

Guest

We so much cheaper than everyone else getting the cab as well. Second guest: Yeah, that's true. That's true. Right? Right. That's what happened. And they had very walls.

Young Hollywood

So, so did you intentionally, was it cheaper?

Guest

No, I Google. I spent a whole day trying to find Google party buses and.

Young Hollywood

Wait, did you, did you have an option to choose what kind of bus? Like was there like a picture with and everything.

Guest

Yeah, there was a normal one and then there was the pink party one. They should have gone. They would have wanted the pink party one more than me. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

So I wanted to ask you guys in the spirit of the movie. Do have you guys had any real life moments where you either did a face plant, embarrassed yourself, was like a shank moment or a greenie moment. Greenie, I guess is sort of like when you're like a newbie or felt like a real newcomer. Yeah. And sort of felt like you stood out.

Guest

I still feel like a greenie every day.

Young Hollywood

You do?

Guest

Yeah. I feel, I feel I'm going green. Yeah. Really? Well, I mean, we, I think we all agree that for young Hollywood, I mean it's Second guest: Yeah.

Guest

Well, it's the first interview together like we said, but maiden voyage. Yeah. So just pretty much in general, every day. Oh, I fell in, I fell in the swimming pool and then when we had the chairs in the swimming pool, we're taking a picture and I fell backwards. Yeah. Yeah. So that was kind of a face plant.

Young Hollywood

Oh, really?

Guest

reverse one. Yeah. And there's a picture of me like mid air falling.

Young Hollywood

Do you have a video, a shirtless video of the guys?

Guest

I do. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Are you ever going to release it?

Guest

No, not yet. I'm waiting to see how much I can make for it.

Young Hollywood

What are you talking about? What? Do you remember that one of the nights you guys had a massive pillow fight? You were there.

Guest

Oh, yeah. Yeah. You shirtless too. I don't remember. I barely remember anything. This is before after the people. I might have been completely naked, who knows. Second guest: I think you were. We all were completely naked, so you were filming it on the sly, so nobody even knew.

Guest

No, they knew. But then we were doing a Twitter chat and I said as a joke, I'll release it, but I obviously wouldn't. Don't worry. It's okay.

Young Hollywood

I'm Thomas, that didn't get to, get to you with the face plant, um, question or the greenie moment.

Thomas

Uh, I don't think I've ever face planted before. It's too cold for that. I can't even. I try not to trip. Don't enjoy it.

Young Hollywood

I don't know if you know this, but a couple of your co-stars have said that your character is their favorite in the film. I think you said that.

Guest

Yeah, Will and I said that at the same time. He's quite a, he's a cool character. A very. But I think all the characters in it, all the supporting characters for the character, Thomas are all great. And there's great, Alby's a great character, Um, Gally and you are great characters as well. And for people who don't know and aren't familiar with the books, the character's names are named after actual people in history. Sort of like a take on that. Is that, um

Thomas

Yeah, it's what.

Young Hollywood

So each of your, if you want to go down, each of your character, do you know who they're named after?

Thomas

Sure. You don't know, do you? I don't know yours. Well, the thing is, you may not know this, but in the future, there's this great guy named me and he finds a cure for all kinds of cancers. Oh, well, there you go. So, that's how I, you know, that's how I, that was my, um, acting homework. I did on my own. Right. Yeah. And he also he also happens to be an Olympic sprinter as well. He runs the maze. Right? Yeah.

Young Hollywood

I think you, were you described in the book as having the perfect body? Oh. Yeah. I think you were. Sure. No pressure there getting ready for that role, right? We're definitely not seeing that video. I'm fighting. Were you aware of that when you were, you know, getting ready for the role that you were described in that fashion?

Thomas

I, I knew, well, when I read the book, it said it's just said that I had buff arms. And so I was just doing arm curls for days. And you know, I was just doing that to get ready.

Young Hollywood

And then last but not least, sort of one word that could sort of sum up this experience for you guys being part of this, you know, that has such a following the books and sort of being part of the great buzz that's coming with this. And you can't use the word amazing.

Guest

Marvelous. Second guest: Party bus.

Guest

Oh, that's mine. I would say, you said, what did you say? Fabulous? Second guest: I said marvelous.

Guest

Marvelous. I'll say fabulous. Second guest: Fabulous.

Young Hollywood

And I'm going to say that the Maze Runner is amazing. I'm going to be really cheesy. Thanks for coming in you guys as well. Congratulations. The film is amazing.
