Okay, so you know it's a big day at Young Hollywood when Chrissy Teigen comes in and the girls all dress up.
We all totally dressed up for you.
I think the guys did too, but we are all so excited for you to come in here.
You're telling me you don't wear this every day.
The problem is I can't move now though in this dress.
Sitting in those things are hard, trust me.
You know.
We both love this, we both love this brand, this designer.
I know.
I know and you wore the dress to the Guys Choice Awards, the yellow one.
Yeah.
And I don't really take many color risks, so that for me was definitely That was ballsy and I loved it.
Who's come up to you?
Because I know you guys go, you and John go to a ton of events.
You go to events for Sports Illustrated, for his stuff.
Who has come up to you and said, like, they love your tweets, they love your Instagram?
Surprised you.
Oh, gosh.
Actually, I'm always surprised that it's always women.
And if any man ever approaches me on the street or I'm never weirded out by it because I know exactly what they're gonna say.
Without fail, it's always my girlfriend loves you or my wife loves you, which is very cool to me because obviously being in Sports Illustrated and being in swimwear and you expect the men to come up and be like, oh really hard.
Exactly.
But they, no, they always say the same thing.
I I'm actually always really surprised at sometimes you'll get that follower notification and it's it's so cool to me when some comedian that I admire or
Oh, who?
Who's your really?
Like Mindy Kaling, I just,
Right.
Lena Dunham.
I'm a mess.
Yeah.
Do you watch, you obviously watch Girls.
Absolutely love it.
And they were filming on my block the other day.
So I was like such a creepo.
I walked around my block about 800 times with the dog.
It's like the dog won't pee.
And then I and then I wrote her I wrote her from Twitter, like as she's working on set at this like on location place.
Just like, "If you wanna come up for a glass of wine."
I'm like, "Oh, we're not really friends though."
You can't do that with people.
Did she respond?
She responded after her work day.
So, of course, she's working and it was like seven hours later.
What you were saying about, like, guys coming up to you.
But do you get the, do they do this thing?
I don't know if you've seen this before where they go, the look, like they can't the eyes are a dead giveaway.
They try to look like that.
What's?
What I notice the most if I'm out will be kind of a irksome thing is John and I call it the stretch, like that that like that lean back stretch, like when they know that John's behind them or something, then you start seeing the phone being passed around, then they know you're they're Googling you and then trying to match if it's the same face.
It it it's always the same.
And then I'll every single time someone goes, ah!
To like turn around and look at you.
It happens at every restaurant we ever go to.
I'm like, "Oh, you got a good stretch?
Good."
Um, okay, so let's talk about Snack-Off.
Yeah.
Okay, did you shoot, I know you shot 20 episodes of the show.
20 episodes in one month.
It's such a Rob Dyrdek, I mean, he just has hit after hit.
Yes, he has hit after hit on MTV and what he does is always so much fun.
And it was nice to be in that kind of like boyish environment where I got to just be myself.
I didn't have to be prim and proper.
We got to all We
That's what I love about the show.
You guys actually heckle people when they're cooking.
It's like, "I would not use that.
I don't know if I would use that."
I know.
Well, I know you cook, you cook.
You're a blogger, you're an incredible cook.
Is there something that you on the show that you said, "I never thought of that combination, I'm gonna cook with it now," or or eat it now.
Actually, that happened more often than I thought.
Someone fried baloney, put it between the oatmeal pie.
Holy cow.
I was pretty blown away by how good fried baloney and oatmeal pie would be.
Is it kind of surreal for you to be on an MTV show?
Like, did you grow up watching MTV?
Oh my gosh.
I was a big TRL nut for me, going back and seeing Daisy Fuentes, Simon Rex.
Uh even seeing like Jamie King when she was James King when she won the modeling contest.
Oh, I remember that whole thing.
Oh, I loved that.
Love, love, love.
Yeah.
So for me, I grew up on MTV.
Uh my sister is a little bit older than me.
So I was kind of I I tried getting into The Real World, those early early days of The Real World.
I still remember The Real World Seattle slap like it was yesterday.
I know you love Beyoncé.
You love yourself some Beyoncé.
So much.
Who other girl crushes that you have?
Oh, I mean, I love Rihanna.
Uh goodness.
Other girl crushes, so many.
Lena, Mindy.
There's there's a lot.
It's actually I have more girl crushes than I do.
Than than guy crushes.
Do you have a guy crush?
Do you have like one free pass, kinda like John, you know?
Oh gosh.
I I've answered this before and then I came back home and I was like, "No, that's not my guy crush."
I I have to see them to remember.
Hey, we should say who it is and then say, "You're not my guy crush."
Hold on.
He could be on our Celebrity Hall of Fame.
Paul Rudd is a great guy crush, I will say.
The last time we saw you was at the Celebrity Beach Bowl and John had just won for MVP of the game and he was beyond excited.
I've never seen him so like.
Which is hysterical because the guy played one score, he played sports in fifth grade only.
He loves sports so much but it's a little painful to watch him.
So the when he did so well, I was genuinely really proud because I that could have gone either way.
I think we got him when he came off the field and he was like, "I am MVP."
That was a That was like a true smile.
MVP!
Ah!
Like he really John is not ever gonna be known for that ever again.
Uh I I don't play football.
I don't even know why they have me, honestly.
But I do have a great time and so I became the team bartender of sorts.
So if you notice, if you ever just really watch the game, I am sitting in the sand, I'm building sand castles, going to the bar back and forth, getting the whole team pretty gone.
This is what I never knew.
We've covered this for three years.
I never knew you were all drunk.
That's why my team keeps losing.
I give them tequila shots in water bottles.
So I read something that you said, I don't know, maybe this is one of your tweets, that you said you have a bitchy resting face.
I do.
Which I can I have a friend that I call it mangy face.
That there are certain people that walk down the street and they're just like, "You don't mean it."
I will totally show you my mangy face.
Okay, ready?
But yours isn't bad though.
No, but look at my eyes.
They droop.
That's nothing.
Bitchy resting face is actually, I'm gonna call I'm gonna go ahead and call it a disease.
Um my dad, my dad's side of the family, we all get this thing which I call like ventriloquist dummy lines here.
You know, you can zoom.
Just look at it.
I don't care.
So it forms this line here and unless like, you know, I want to go do something about it, which not yet, it forms this kind of like sad face, sad, angry face.
So whenever I'm walking down the street, whether it's a construction worker or someone just like smoking on their stoop, they'll be like, "Smile, girl!"
like, "So."
I have a very bitchy
That's so annoying.
face.
Because of these lines.
I know.
I read that and I was like, "Oh my God."
I have mangy face.
It's it don't
No, I totally do, trust me.
I didn't even fully do it.
It's all about the lips though.
Eyes are fine.
Does that
No, but they go to like stag mode.
I know what you mean.
Where you gotta do something.
I do, trust me, I do.
Um has there been a cause, I know you just co-hosted um Kelly & Michael.
Yes.
Oh my gosh.
What a rush.
Well, you tweeted that you were so nervous.
Like, you've never been more nervous in your life.
And I was like, "How did that compare to Oprah interviewing you?"
I got sick.
Oh, the Oprah thing.
That was a different kind of nervous.
I really um I was sick all morning for Kelly and Michael.
For Um, but I love him.
Gonna talk to Doctor Oz about poop.
You gotta be You could be.
So Michael and I have that football connection too that that game.
So uh I I've always love being around Michael and he makes you so comfortable.
I actually went in.
Brooklyn Decker hosted the day before me.
I was very serious about this gig.
So I went, I went in like street clothes.
I was watching.
I was like taking notes of how Brooklyn did so I could and then as soon as I got there everything just, you know, you forget everything that you had tried to learn and you just have fun with it.
But it goes by in like 10 seconds.
Live too.
It's scary.
Yeah, because I don't I don't know what I'm gonna say.
Well, were Is there something you haven't done yet that you want to do in your career that you you want to do in your career that you?
Oh, gosh.
I mean, Kelly and Michael was definitely up there.
That was something that I always really really wanted to do. Uh I would love for those Top Chef people to have to do one of my events. Um like, I already got married though. I don't know what they're gonna do. But uh I I I love those competition series shows. Uh there's so much. I mean, I always enjoy doing like a panel talk format.
I if they ever bring back TRL, I'm there. I mean, I think you'd be hired in half a second.
Cookbooks. I want to cook books for sure.
This is Oh my God. I could talk to you all day. We can, Chrissy stay. Can she just stay? I I think she'll never leave. Dane Cook is coming in later. And I dressed up for you, not him. Don't forget.
Dane, whatever.
Dane's gonna like you. I'm gonna leave Dane a note actually. If you could pass it to Dane.
Yeah. That sounds really cool.
Wanna write it on his note?
I'll write it on Selena's face.
Thank you for coming in. You're so amazing.
Thanks.
We love you. Nice location, by the way.
Thanks.
Our CEO will be very happy you said that.
