Hey guys, Kylie here with Young Hollywood at the W Hotel in New York City. We're about to chat up the guys of Workaholics.
What's up guys?
What's up?
We're excited you're here in New York City. What have you been doing since you came here?
Um, drinking a lot.
We've been drinking a lot. We've been uh partying a bunch. Um, we went to a Nelly concert.
Did you? Uh, I danced super hard. The flight out here like uh we got flown first class, which was really cool. They give you cookies and stuff. If you ever have an opportunity, if you have like rich grandparents and you're you're gonna go on a trip with them, take it 'cause you'll get a fly first class and you might get to sit next to Nelly. Which happened to me. But then our flight there was a mechanical error. The flight had to we had to get a new plane. I didn't get to sit next to Nelly the second time.
Oh, they rearranged you.
Yeah.
So you guys are now in season four of Workaholics.
Yeah.
Congrats on that.
This one didn't know.
Yeah, we did 13 this season.
Oh, I can't wait to see them.
Well, you you don't watch them or it's Wednesdays at 10:00 p. m.
Whoa, I love that show. Um what kind of antics can we expect the guys to get into this season?
There's a lot of cool cameos. Uh a lot of us being the weird dudes we are.
More of the same.
More of the same.
Self-deprecating shenanigans, uh hobnobbing.
Yeah.
Little hobnobbing this year.
So If you don't more hobnobbing this year.
Yeah, a lot of hobnobbing. Probably our most sexual season, like we get pretty sexy.
We've gotten more sexual.
We're very sexual.
Big breast, uh this season, yeah.
More than grandma boob. Uh, so if you uh like Workaholics, you're gonna love this season. And if you don't like Workaholics, go to hell.
We hate you.
Yeah, you're not our friends.
Yeah.
Um, okay, so talk to me about the weirdest thing that's happened on set.
Uh, Ders did puke on me this season, which was weird.
I heard about that. How was that for each of you?
Great for me.
Yeah, it was good for him. And honestly like after the initial shock, loved it and that's what I'm into now.
You guys met doing improv. Was it an automatic bromance? Did one of you woo the others? How did this go down?
I looked at Blake's curly little afro at the time. He had a tight little do. Uh and I was like, this is this is my guy for life, L-Y-F-E.
Oh, that's so cute. Yeah. I heard that you have it in the contract that you have to keep your hair long. Do you do you ever want to cut it or would you be rocking this do anyway?
Uh, this is a wig at this point.
Oh, yeah. Is it?
I cut my hair last season. I just had you know like like it starts to weigh you down and like it was just like it felt like a lot of negative energy but yeah, this comes off. So
Can we see you take it off?
Well, yeah, it's like a whole glue process that I have to ease it off and.
No, you guys are working on a movie, right?
Yep.
Tell me about that.
Mhm. Yep. Action comedy.
Okay.
Out of control.
Have you started filming it yet?
We have not. No. Just rewriting it and trying to get it uh as funny and as tight as we can right now. And then hopefully we're hoping sometime this summer.
It's cool. It's kind of like Die Hard-esque. Uh, we're in a hotel. Gets taken over by terrorists. We're the are we the only ones to stop 'em? No, but we do. So uh
Well we yeah.
Yeah.
Will you do your own stunts?
No. Definitely not. I don't do stunts. I like to uh keep stuntmen working.
I love you guys. Thank you.
Uh, I would have loved to. I don't know if I I tore my ACL shooting Workaholics this past season.
Did you? How did this injury happen?
Uh, it was uh uh it was a sex sex accident. Yeah, yeah. Fell 35 feet into some sex, so. Uh no, it was stupid. I it was a basketball scene that we were doing. It was like we were doing a basketball montage of us just playing a ton. And uh my character is on steroids because he feels that that's how you win at basketball is to be just raging. So I'm like tackling people and and being all uh crazy and that's not how I hurt myself. Literally how I hurt myself was a ball bounced out of bounds. And I was like, I got it. And then I ran to get it and grabbed the ball and turned too quickly and my knee just exploded.
Oh no.
Everyone thought I was joking too.
Yeah, for like two minutes.
Yeah, for two minutes, I'm on the ground going like, "Ah! Ah! Fuck! Oh! Ah!" And they're like, "We we're not you we can't use any of this. He's cursing everywhere."
When people get really hurt, you see like like their their pain response. Some people just get really quiet or some people scream.
Yeah, some people make that weird like uh air letting out of a tire sort of noise. Uh, and I just say every curse word that I know as loud as I can.
Okay, so I have one more question for you. Um, you guys are producing the show, you created it, you write it, you act in it. Um, being so young, what's it like being a boss to people that I imagine are older than you that work on the show?
It was It's very weird the first time around.
Yeah. First season you're just talking to a bunch of dads like this is what we need to do.
Telling them what to do.
Yeah. This is how we're gonna make this butt hole joke the funniest, okay? You're on board, right?
Yeah, the first time like my dad came on set I think was the first time that he like like he was like, "Jesus, there's like uh there's like men my age here. Like holding lights and stuff." I'm like, "Yeah, yeah, they're they're working." He's like, "And you're and you're like the boss of all these guys." I'm like, "Uh-huh."
He's like, "Well, thank you guys so much for chatting with us."
Thank you.
