Young Hollywood

So congratulations on this unlocked playing another kick ass woman.

Noomi Rapace

So you play an interrogator in unlocked. I feel like I'm kind of interrogator with what I do because all I do is ask questions to strangers.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, I study people, exactly. So I'm gonna interrogate you a little bit if that's okay.

Noomi Rapace

So you can't I'd be a terrible interrogator.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Maybe that's the perfect technique, though. Because you get me to open up and I trust you. I've fun with you. And I will just like say everything to you.

Noomi Rapace

Yeah, this is ah you saw right through me. Oh my gosh. I'm so bad at this.

Young Hollywood

Okay, we can we let's pretend. Uh so your name, please.

Noomi Rapace

Noomi Rapace.

Young Hollywood

And what did you have for breakfast?

Noomi Rapace

Um, oats.

Young Hollywood

I need answers.

Noomi Rapace

Oats, oats. Oh, oats. Oats with protein powder.

Young Hollywood

Really, just just oats, really?

Noomi Rapace

That was like 6:00 this morning, before the workout. Uh, my son.

Young Hollywood

Did you use emojis?

Noomi Rapace

Yes, I do that.

Young Hollywood

What kinds of emojis did you use?

Noomi Rapace

The monkeys. All of only only one all of the monkeys. Yeah, I I overdo it. Totally overdo it.

Young Hollywood

What's what's the emoji that you you over use? Don't say monkeys. That's not you already used that one.

Noomi Rapace

Oh, a kiss. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry. But it's so pathetic. But I used the kiss.

Young Hollywood

Describe this movie in three emojis.

Noomi Rapace

Yeah. Um, gun, um, girl, and explo a bomb.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Yes, you pass. Okay, I got really stressed out now.

Noomi Rapace

Yeah, yeah, you did good. You got me like kind of I'm starting a little bit. Yeah, yeah.

Young Hollywood

Yes. Who's the interrogator? Alice Racine. We need your skill set. We need you back on the front line. The plot kind of centers on something that's like one of my greatest fears, biological weapons. Did this make you more of a germophobe?

Noomi Rapace

You know, I just pray to God and hope that you know, we won't get to this but I think it it could happen. You know what I mean? And and that's something what I love about the script. It's not what you think it's gonna be. It has like twist and turns and it's it takes you on a journey and it's very unpredictable. When I read the script, I was like, whoa. I did not see that coming. So and that I love. So it's it's very it is entertaining. It's fast, it's a lot of things happening. But it's also a reality to it. Yeah.

Young Hollywood

And can we just talk about how it's such a great time for strong kick ass women on the big screen. And you are obviously no stranger to those kinds of roles. But I wonder like do you ever go like maybe it's time to do a romantic comedy? Like maybe I need to be like the quirky girl finding love.

Noomi Rapace

Well, it's funny. I did this film called What Happened to Monday. When I played seven sisters. And it's coming out in the end of August. And it's seven different sisters. Like they're completely different. One of them is pink. She loves pink. She's very girly. Her her name is Saturday. And my sister when my sister saw the film she was like, oh my god, you're totally Saturday. And then she's like funny, she's quite charming. She's very girly girl. And I was like so you're a girly girl in real life. Okay. So I think I'm I maybe I am more that in real life than than my films will show. But I think I'm very drawn to drama, to dramas and thrillers and like, you know, to to that kind of complexity, like a pure comedy or romantic comedy is like, I don't think so. Um, but I love you know, Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. Maybe you get to kick some ass in it, right? Like Yeah. Yeah. Funny kicking ass chugging girl.

Noomi Rapace

Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Thank you so much.

Noomi Rapace

Thank you. This was fun. You're fun.

Young Hollywood

Oh, thank you. So are you.
