South by Southwest, we are having a blast and you guys got a film coming out, huh? This is like a slasher, horror, a whole mix of genres, huh?

Mhm. Yeah, it's definitely like a horror comedy type thing. Yeah.

Is it a little different than Deadpool?

A little different. Yeah. We got to work with like prosthetic limbs and stuff, which we didn't get to do on Deadpool, so.

So, Jack, uh, what's it like not working for your mother?

Uh, well, working with my mom was great. Uh, it was just uh, I don't know, different in the sense that my mom wasn't around. I did a movie that my mom directed. That's the I'm feeling I'm feeling the cast. Uh, but that was a great experience. But this was, I mean, this was like a whole other beast. Like like Brianna said, prosthetic limbs. A lot of lot of lot more gore in this than a movie directed by my mom.

If if she didn't like your take, did you get grounded or?

Uh, no, not that it's we our shorthand was like amazing because no one knows you better than your own mom. Someone like that. But uh, no, it was like it was oddly fine. Like there was no like familial drama on that set at all.

Alexandra. What is it like to play Storm?

Uh, it's crazy playing Storm. I love playing Storm, you know, I I I got really lucky. I didn't think that I was going to get it. I I at the test, I stole all the muffins and all the butter and you know,

That's what you're supposed to do. That's a hot tip right there, steal the muffins.

Yeah, I've filled up like four coffee cups with orange juice. Like I was just trying to get my vitamin C because I hadn't seen the sun. Um, I really didn't think I was going to get it. I just thought I was going to have a great time and I was really fortunate to be able to get it and to be able to work with such amazing actors and to be able to work with Brian Singer, who's an amazing director and I get to shoot lightning bolts out of my hands and I get to fly around. But like here's the thing. Halle made flying around look so easy. And then like I got up and I was like, "Uh, the minute your feet leave the ground, your whole lower body goes numb." And then I look down and I'm like, "Guys, I'm a little numb." They're like, "You'll get used to it." And I was like, "What?"

Craig, you uh used to teach elementary music, huh? How do you make the leap from elementary music to stand-up comic to slasher drama thriller comedy?

Many many nights of uh of going up on stage and, you know, after teaching. So, I would teach during the day, then I'd go on stage at night.

You were kind of the uh most experienced on set. Uh, you've been around a lot of talent. Did you get inspired by the youth? Did you like to be

I can't answer this question for him. Um, I think he was mostly inspired by um, by my performance. Uh, blown away almost. Uh, I mean, so good that you feel like he would lose his head.

It's actually true. Uh, you know, I came in and they they'd already been filming for a couple of weeks, so they were already, you know, in the zone and the rhythm. So, I was just like, "Okay, you know, like like Devil Dust, let me hop in and okay, all right. Yeah. I'm doing it. I'm doing it.

You always seem to put a little interject a little music in what you do. Do we see any music in tragedy girls?

Every single time. Except for tragedy girls.

Yeah. Your band name is Nasty Delicious.

Mhm.

Mr. Nasty, Mr. Nasty. How did that how did that come about? Craig Robinson and the Nasty Delicious.

Yeah, which is uh, you know, it's the name the name was about like something that like imagine something that tastes so good that you make a nasty face. You know what I mean? Like, yeah. That's how the band when you listen you just make that face because it's so funky.

We got an awesome tragedy girl squad here. Can I be like an honorary tragedy girl for the day? Is that possible?
