Baruch here in New York and we're catching up with the stars of Agent 47. First of all, Rupert, I've got to start with you. I'm noticing a theme here. Agent 47, an assassin, and homeland. What about you screams hitman?

Rupert Friend

Yeah, what says this guy kills people for a living? I don't know, I I really don't know and I I'd love if people could send their answers in on a postcard because it's not something that I've ever done for money or otherwise. And so, um I I don't anyone know why I'm always. Yeah, maybe you can weigh in on this a little bit. Hannah says I look mean, which I think which I think tells you all you need to know about Hannah.

Young Hollywood

Wow. Let's read into this a little bit, Zachary.

Zachary Quinto

I'm on this side. I'm out of his very diplomatic. Probably a wise decision. And he's more experienced. There we go.

Young Hollywood

Well, you know, we see a lot of superhuman qualities in your characters. He's an engineered human being. Stronger. Faster. More intelligent than normal people. They're called agents. What does any of this have to do with me? Your father started the agent program. He knows their weakness. You're the key to finding your father. If you could choose a real life superhuman quality, what would it be?

Zachary Quinto

I would like to be able to to transport to other places without having to you know, put in the time to get there.

Young Hollywood

Where would you transport right now?

Zachary Quinto

There's nowhere else I'd rather be right now.

Young Hollywood

Good answer. Good answer. How about you, Hannah?

Hannah Ware

I'd like to be like Storm where I control the weather. That might be a British thing cuz we're obsessed with the weather. She does the Hally Berry does the whole controlling of the weather thing, right? Exactly. Yeah, I want to do that. It could be great in London. It would be brilliant.

Young Hollywood

How about you, Rupert?

Rupert Friend

Uh, I would go for shape shifting. I I think that would be great. But that's kind of one of those cheesy answers, a bit like, you know, if you ask a genie for more wishes as one of the wish wishes, you know, it's sort of like I want to be able to change into anything, so then you could fly, you could do the weather thing, all that. I think it I think it's a very economical choice.

Young Hollywood

Yeah. We also see a lot of themes of trust throughout the film. What did it take for all of you to establish trust on set?

Zachary Quinto

Well, Hannah and I knew each other before uh this film, so it was exciting to get to work together after spending time as friends. Um and I've seen a lot of Rupert's stuff and always admired him, so I knew that he was a part of the movie going into it. So there was already a kind of alignment, I would say, uh between the three of us that made it really easy to kind of show up and just be there for each other when we needed to.

Young Hollywood

And how about the two of you?

Rupert Friend

I don't think Hannah trusts me yet. And you know, that's because I would, you know, we did a stunt where I used her to break my fall. Um and she screamed all the way down, which I think is fair enough, but

Hannah Ware

It wasn't I didn't trust you, I I didn't trust the rope, Rupert.

Rupert Friend

The rope?

Hannah Ware

The rope. Trust me. We were harnessed. I would never do.

Rupert Friend

Yes. Blame it on the rope.

Hannah Ware

Blame it on the rope. I didn't do the knots.

Young Hollywood

What kind of funny moments were there behind the scenes?

Hannah Ware

I mean, we were in Berlin for the majority of the shoot, so I wouldn't say, I would take the NY off the funny and just it was fun. It was cool. Berlin's an amazing city. So it was really fun to work there and uh and to use the city in the film and was hilarious. Clearly. clearly. It was hilarious.

Young Hollywood

So no behind the scenes pranks?

Hannah Ware

No, there's a lot to do in in we did, you know, I think we were all. We sound so boring. We were fun, I promise you. I don't know why.

Young Hollywood

No, you two I know got the acting bug a little bit later, right? The two of you, I know that you started out on a dare, and I know that you initially maybe want to be an archeologist. What would each of you have done? This is, am I Did you? Is this at all accurate? That's so much more interesting.

Rupert Friend

I wanted to be a baker when I was a kid.

Young Hollywood

A baker?

Rupert Friend

Yeah, then a lumberjack. But archaeology implies that you'd have to go and study something, which is harder work than I clearly wanted to do, that's why I'm doing this job. So, the archaeology, no, only if in an Indiana Jones way. But it was mostly about wearing the jacket and going on the dusty adventures.

Young Hollywood

It's about the costume.

Rupert Friend

Well, no, more than adventures. The actual archaeology bit where, you know, what's that's not the best bit of that movie.

Young Hollywood

And what would the two of you do if you weren't doing this right now?

Zachary Quinto

Um, I'd probably be a psychologist. I imagine.

Young Hollywood

Why's that?

Zachary Quinto

Cuz I'm fascinated by psychology. It's part of what drives me to be an actor and I love therapy and I've spent enough time in there, I feel like I could probably turn the tables on somebody else. Um, I don't know, I've just always been interested in the complexity of the human psyche.

Young Hollywood

How about you, Hannah? It's a brilliant answer, too.

Hannah Ware

Um, I um, I always wanted to be an architect, but um, so if I was good at it, I'd do it. I'm just not very good. Lack of spatial awareness and all that. But um, that's what I would have done.

Young Hollywood

Of course, another role that your fans love you for is Spock. How did Leonard Nimoy guide you as you were getting into that role?

Zachary Quinto

Um, Leonard was really supportive of me at the beginning, but our relationship took its own trajectory after we met really. Um it became much less about the character and and much more about our own connection. So, um we were enormously close and uh I just feel like his friendship and his presence in my life for the better part of the last decade uh has shaped me in really wonderful ways and I'm uh, you know, very sad that we lost him, but so grateful that we had that connection and I feel that that it's just deepened in a in a more spiritual way now that now that he's not with us.

Young Hollywood

Thanks to all of you. Congratulations.

Zachary Quinto

Thank you, man.

Hannah Ware

Have a good day.
