I most certainly did last.

Actually, I actually won that uh last June.

Ernie Grunwald uh who plays Larry on the show, he was actually there.

Who's your conscience?

Um he plays my conscience.

So, he was your conscience.

So, you were like, I won.

I'm really arrogant and he's like, keep it down.

I was directing an episode of Haven at the time.

He sent me a text and let me know that I won.

It seemed very 21st century to me to get a text uh from somebody that you won an award, right?

It was very I maybe maybe you should tweet it.

You know, yeah, exactly.

So, you play a used car salesman.

You're very shall I say without a conscience?

When you're not with your conscience?

So, I wanted to ask you, I'm going to put you on the spot a little bit.

So, before you were an actor, before all this and and a director.

What was the very first job you ever had?

The very first job I ever had.

It had to be in Canada somewhere.

Oh, yes, it was.

So I was a house painter for a long time.

I was a I was a potato farmer.

No.

That was a good one.

Yeah.

I used to work on a potato combine.

The potato combine cuts into the ground and pulls up potatoes that are under the ground.

But it also pulls up chunks of dirt that are about the same size as potatoes.

As the potatoes come up the conveyor belt, so do the chunks of dirt and when you work on a potato combine, you have to get rid of the chunks of dirt so only potatoes go into the truck.

Wow.

So I'm I'm very thankful for the opportunities I have in my life now.

It's very tangible to me to see how far my life has come from where I'm speaking of that.

Like, what did you have a moment where you sort of said to yourself, I've made it.

Whether or not you really did at the time or or went on to bigger things.

Was there sort of that first moment where you were like, wow, I've really like succeeded in Hollywood.

There've been a lot of little moments, you know, and things that you sort of go, oh, wow.

Huh?

The Prince of Monaco invited me over to his house to hang out and have cocktails.

That's kind of cool.

You know, but of course.

How was that?

That sounds like a big moment.

It's pretty cool.

But you know, you you know, the I mean there are little things like that that you sort of realize that things like that don't happen every day to to to kids from North Vancouver.

And I noticed on your Twitter, hockey, hockey.

I feel like you could almost be a like a hockey announcer.

But I feel like you'd be really good at it.

Aside from aside from the pillow sales, Will, you're very kind.

You're very kind.

Uh it's a great game and I I have a lot of uh a lot of passion for the game.

I think like most Canadians.

So it's uh it's definitely uh it's definitely something that I follow and and something that I uh that I that I get a lot of enjoyment from.

So who's your team?

The Vancouver Canucks.

Can you give a little, a tiny little sports announcer like, tell us why the Vancouver Canucks are going to win the Stanley Cup this year?

Well, the Vancouver Canucks, I I think the Vancouver Canucks have a great shot to represent the Western Conference in the Stanley Cup Finals this year.

I think that Schneider will be their goalie uh going forward.

If the Luongo ends up sticking around in Vancouver, I think they probably have the best one-two goalie combination um in the Western Conference right now looking uh looking forward.

You sounded so authoritative.
