And you're both looking, I feel like I should have stepped it up. You look fantastic.

Uh-huh. There it is. Exciting time. I think season one was like a big setup for Liza and the whole lie and the situation and the story. And then season two, we all kind of get our own like bigger arc, which is cool to like learn more about these characters and get to grow and it's still really funny but it's it's heavier because the lie is getting more intense.

Well, yeah. Which you know.

I do. Yeah.

Josh does know all about this lie. Which kind of makes it like sexy and fun but also more like effed up.

Yeah, totally. I mean, Like you're struggling lying. I think that like he is okay when it's just him and her, but when he sees her still lying to everybody else is where he really has a hard time with it. You know. I mean, he can't.

And then you also learn what a good guy you are that you struggle with the like lying people.

Totally. Well, I think like I've become friends with you and other characters on the show and that you know, when I have to spend time with Kelsey, Josh has to spend time with Kelsey and he knows that she doesn't know. It's hard for him to sit down and have any type of normal conversation because it's all based on this bullshit.

Just hearing you guys talk about it so real. You really you're really loving these characters.

Yeah. I mean, we invest a lot of ourselves into them.

So you can't you know, the season ended with you knowing this lie and obviously that, you know, creates a whole new thing for you.

Totally.

And uh and your relationship with Liza, yeah.

Yeah. I mean, they have to decide if if they love each other enough to keep this relationship going, you know, it's a totally different relationship now.

Right. So that's the start from scratch.

But it is a relationship um that is like a young like that what young people do, which is like break up, get back together, break up, get back together. They're kind of struggling.

They do. Yeah. Well, and old people too. I don't know. I guess it's just a total relationship thing but you don't expect them like the chemistry is so there for them that like they can't really stay away from each other but they it's just challenging and all relationships are, I guess. So, it's real.

I mean, even though that she is lying to everybody, like I I I think that Josh still thinks the whole thing is kind of sexy. Right. You know, I mean, there's something mysterious about this older woman now that's lying through her whole life that he just wants to like

And her name is Liza.

I did hear that in season two you guys get on a bit better. Is that true or not?

We get a little, I think like the him getting better is to show why Kelsey who's like this pretty awesome girl sticks it out with him. He does do things for the relationship and for her that she learns from and that she like gets supported from you know, gets support from him. But no, at the end of the day, he's a total dog and she deserves better but she's sticking it out with him.

Why is that?

What do you mean? That's that's what we do.

I know. Why though? Why do you do this women? Why though?

Because we're like nurturers. We want everything to be like the way I don't know why we do it. It's awful. We all do it. But you know what else? Kelsey, like she was a little bit of a dog in the in the first season. You know, she had the affair with the author and he was married and she didn't really care.

Yeah. I mean, you done some mess-up shit.

Totally. She's kind of deserve she's doing. You're you're a bit of a, you know, I I don't quite know to phrase it.

I saw that and I was like, wow. That's I've got to step up my game. Because I am yet to do that in my life. Quite a big moment.

Kelsey's a real go-getter, isn't she? She's kind of like you.

Kind of like you. You know, you are. You're a You're a ever go-getter. Kelsey is a go-getter. I do think parts of my life really like relate to that. Obviously, I've been working for a long time. So that's cool to play like a normal version of kind of like what I've been doing my whole life, you know, like in a normal work field. Um, and to be like a young girl who is fighting for like she knows she's talented. She knows she's got what it takes. And I like playing that role because I feel like a lot of young people are doing that right now. Like they still will go to the party and like get sh-faced but wake up and like attack the day and have drive and ambition, you know. And so that's fun for me to play.

Darren Star's is amazing, you know, able to work with someone like that. I'm sure.

Yeah. It's really.

Um, going into the project, was that more pressure with someone like that behind it or is it like does it take the pressure off?

I think we all get a bit nervous when he comes to set, so.

We're all like, okay, the boss dog is here. I mean, he comes to set all the time though. Yeah. He's really hands-on. So he'll come to set and like we'll just be stumped on something and he just like solves it right away. He's really just he has a vision and and it works. And if something's not working on the day, he'll come in and just like drop a line and oh, the whole scene will make sense now. Yeah. He's really brilliant. We were lucky to have him as a boss, I think.

Right. And quickly mentioning, you're a you're tattoo artist on the show and you have tattoos. Plenty. If we went to the tattoo shop now, us three.

What's the first tattoo that sprung to mind that you'd get?

I want to get a an almond.

Okay.

A little perfect like her tattoos are so soft just like a little tiny almond right here, yeah.

What would you give us an almond tattoo? Oh, yeah. What would you get? What would you get if you if you went now and you had to get one?

Um, oh my gosh. That's a tough call. I really want a little pineapple.
