Hey guys, this is Ally Weisman with Young Hollywood and we're at the Tribeca Film Festival where we're talking with the cast of Gay Best Friend about all the behind the scenes shenanigans.

How will being the first out kid in school make you instantly popular? It's simple. The hottest new trends sweeping schools worldwide is the G B F. It stands for I know what it stands for. Gay Best Friend.

I don't know if you guys remember, but we actually did a set visit with you. And it looks like you were having a little too much fun in my opinion. Was there a lot of goofing off that happened?

Oh, please, of course. It's like 90% of what we did.

Clearly you guys have all gotten along very well. Have you stayed in touch after the film wrapped? Outside of these press events, have you met up and hung out? Partied a little bit?

No, we totally have. Um, it's been fun for screenings too. I mean, I haven't seen the final cut yet. I don't think any of us have so we're really excited about that. But I know in in the filming process we we got so close and we feel like the the shooting process was too short. It's literally the day after we're like, wait, we're not seeing you tomorrow? We're not coming to work. Like it didn't make sense 'cause you're so used to seeing each other every day. And sometimes you work with people that you don't really like, but everyone here really nice and enjoyable. Second guest: I think also like the the movie itself, the script, like you have to have a sense of humor and you have to have a sense of humor about yourself to to do it. So I think that probably is most of the reason why we all get along with each other.

Yeah. But secretly we definitely hate everyone. Second guest: Cuz we're actors.

Well, if your cast was an actual high school class, who do you think would be voted most likely to succeed?

I would say probably Sasha because you just turned 17, right?

I would have to say Zosha. I think she's got Well, Capri is her name. She's got so many crazy outfits. I mean, I think we all do. Everyone has their own unique style. Everyone was kind of over the top. Or at least the girls were. Yeah. In everything that we wore. Second guest: Oh, you were too.

Oh, of course, you were. But like big earrings, like high heels that you would not believe.

You guys like sing to each other?

Yeah, there was one day there was one day where we were like what were we singing? Grass from and we were singing like Queen and all kinds of Second guest: We're so great

That was beautiful, you guys. That was really good. Everything was amazing about that. One of my favorite things in the movie is this character Ashley who goes by Shly. Yeah. So if you guys had to abbreviate your names, what do you think you would choose?

My grandma, my initials, or like my signature is M I W I. So my grandma always called me Meewee.

I've gotten a lot of nicknames, but I mean most people just call me Sash, which is boring, but
