Good. We we we're We've worked together. We've worked together.

Two and a Half Men, the series director. And now the For Niners. Why TV to internet?

Yeah. Yes. Well, I'm fortunate to have a very, very nice day job. And you've you've actually been on that set. So, um, I certainly have been you know, wanting to protect that. But there's all this there's all this new stuff going on.

So you wanted to be a part of the new, the exciting

I wanted to be a part of it. And I wanted uh and it's really, you know, let's face it. You know, there's there's not the money in it yet. Yes, but there's a lot of creativity and a lot of opportunity to do things that I don't necessarily get to do on Two and a Half Men.

No, that's for sure. Well, let's talk about those differences and things that you get to do on the internet that you can't do on TV.

Well, um, one of the things is really technical actually. It's how I shoot the show.

Oh. Okay.

I mean, as you've seen, you know, we shoot with four film cameras Right. that are on dollies that are standing around a set. Yeah. The way we shot For Niners is three handheld cameras shooting all at the same time. So the show has a little bit of movement and it has the cameras have a little bit of movement. And it's just that much more alive visually. Leafleting in the general seating area, clear and present violation of Mall Rule 304, subsection C. I know that, which is why my boyfriend, Mark, is here picking them up to display at his register. And I so appreciate it, honey. Is that so? Yes, sir. I You do anything for this awesome girl.

What's sort of been like the biggest challenge in in filming?

Um the biggest challenge uh the most recent uh uh batch of episodes we did of For Niners, we put it together in about four weeks. And that was the biggest challenge was It's still a production. It still requires casting and sets and logistics and all of that stuff. And and we basically we decided a week or two before Thanksgiving that we had a week window before Christmas. And if we didn't shoot then, we weren't going to get to this until April. So we did it. And it's it's kind of invigorating.

And where do you see it going? Like the cuz the internet is it's not new. Right. But like you said, the money's not there.

With the help of Subway, Yeah. with the help of content and company, I see it hitting multiple platforms. I mean, whether it's Hulu, whether it's YouTube, whether it's, you know, um taking our taking our footage that we've shot off the set, you know, um putting it on Facebook. So the character plays a sandwich artist in the show. That's why he's a For Niner.

What when you go to Subway, what do you get on your sandwich? What's the James Widows special?

I'm a I'm a basic uh 6-inch whole wheat BMT toasted.

And what are the toppings? What do you what are you throwing on top there?

Um, well, I like I like a pickle or two. I like a little lettuce and tomato. I like a little oil and vinegar.

Interesting. Interesting. And this is like this is the character, it's his sort of like his first job. He's a he's a high school guy. What was your first job?

My first job actually was working for my father in his office. He had a he had a side business where he if you wanted to move your car from Los Angeles to New York, Yeah. you go to this company and they match up drivers and cars.

What? Yeah. So This sounds like a great business now.

Yeah. So we're in Miami. It would have been nice to have my car. Okay. Taken from LA to Miami so I could drive it around here. Right.

Or you could just, you know, they have rental cars nowadays. You could try that. I've never heard about that. Thank you so much for chatting with us and thank you for coming into Young Hollywood.
