I saw the movie last night, I love it.

Just Before I Go.

It was a it was a bit of an emotional rollercoaster.

I'm not gonna lie.

I was laughing, crying.

Just a normal, a normal evening for me but this time it was because of a movie.

Because of a movie.

I'm gonna go now, I'm gonna go now.

No, great movie, direct, produce.

How is it uh Courteney is the is the boss?

I just Awesome.

She was Fucking awesome.

As I expected she would be.

I was depressed when we're done filming it.

It's such a great experience.

It's a hard movie to pull off too, the tone.

There's so much going on and she just knew exactly what she wanted to do and

He's not see, vulnerable.

He's earnest.

Yeah, I I I haven't seen that side of you before Seann, so well done Courteney for bringing it out.

You took Courteney Cox to get that get that out.

Yeah.

He's really sarcastic and I'm a real jerk.

And and yeah, he's yeah.

No, he's the most genuine person and I knew that when I sat with him.

I didn't know from his past work except for there were a few things I was like, oh, he's really sincere and You know, he does more comedies, broader comedies and even though this is a comedy, it's more based in reality except for maybe a few characters.

Like Kate Walsh.

Yep.

People have to express themself in some way if they're in pain and that's the way she shows.

And Kate Walsh especially, Kathleen, she's uh sleep.

Um, going back to that part though, when I'm watching obviously bursting out laughing, is it hard directing behind the cam, how'd you keep a straight face with someone like Kate Walsh standing in front of you?

Yeah, it was really hard.

I've always played the characters that you know you're doing a good job when you're making other actors laugh.

But here I'm just playing like the straight guy who's just be serious.

Everybody else is funny.

Especially like the stuff with Kate.

My eyes are closed, I'm supposed to be sleeping and Kate Walsh comes in and disrobes Takes her clothes off essentially.

And uh Plays the banjo.

take them off.

Plays the banjo.

Yeah.

That's that's how you put it.

She's making noises and stuff.

She's just hilarious.

And everybody in the movie is so talented.

Garret Dillahunt plays this character that is really ignorant.

I mean, and says the most inappropriate things but he's really got a heart and all the characters that are struggling with different issues whether it's, you know, being gay and scared to come out or being bullied or they all have a journey to go on and it's kind of it's it's a bold movie but it's it's real.

Right.

When I finished watching the movie, I did leave my door unbolted just in case.

Just in case, but nothing happened.

No one came in.

No one came in, yeah.

Um hopefully this movie will start to

Maybe, that would be great, wouldn't it?

Um, so Terrible.

And the process itself when when you read the script to like and did this in itself, you were like, right, I I I vision that person for this.

Did anyone pop up in your mind immediately?

Well, I always said I'm gonna work with Garrett.

Always just because I'd worked with him before and we just we work together well.

We understood each other.

For this one I just I I was not gonna take anything that wasn't perfect for the part.

And I met him and I sat across from him and thought, this is the guy.

He really was he's just sweet.

He is, I wanna kiss him right now, but I'm not gonna.

Not a chance.

Not a chance.

I'm not gonna.

You can do it in just one second, I'm sorry.

Okay, okay.

Well unless that's gonna help get people on the theaters, go ahead, okay.

She said kiss.

One last question.

If you were to say just before I go but not too deep, obviously, is there anything in life that you'd love to do right now that you haven't done?

You you've both had amazing lives, but, you know, I mean, this is silly, but this is not funny.

I just really want to go rent a house in Italy for a month in the summer and have all my friends fly over at different times and eat tons of homemade pasta, cheese and drink a lot of wine.

I'm there.

I wanna do that.

I wanna do that so bad now.

We can all split the rent.

We can all split the rent.

One last question that I'm gonna ask for myself.

Was that Coco singing at the beginning of the movie?

Yeah.

I've heard her sing before.

She's got the best voice ever.

But you were at the wedding?

I was at the wedding.

She's stunning.

She made me cry.

I was crying my side.

And I've met she's just the most amazing girl ever.

What's this wedding you're talking about?

Yeah, and it was h- it was so lovely.

So lovely, yeah.
