Nikki Novak here for Young Hollywood on the red carpet at Disneyland, the happiest place on Earth.
We're here for the Lone Ranger premiere.
Giddy up.
How do you stay cool, calm, and collected on this hot day?
I'm not.
Look, I'm sweating.
You're not schvitzing at all.
I'm schvitzing way more than you are.
I feel it.
Back sweat.
Well, that's sexy on a girl.
Olivia Holt looking like a little Marilyn Monroe.
What?
Thank you.
I'm here with Karan from Jessie.
Great to see you.
Great to see you too.
Are you are you warm enough?
Uh, it's actually pretty hot out, so yeah, I'm warm enough.
Jake, you've got the ladies screaming here on the carpet.
How does that feel at your old age?
Oh, 42.
It's pretty good.
Feels good, right?
Yeah, still anti-aging cream really works.
They always say that Disneyland is like the happiest place on Earth.
Where are you the happiest?
Probably at home.
Or here, or here.
I mean, it's just, there's a lot of happy places.
I love Disney.
I mean, I come here all the time.
My growing up, even before like being on Disney, I would come to Disney World.
Well, Disneyland's certainly one of them.
I love it here.
I when I when I get off a plane back in Australia, I feel pretty pretty good, 'cause you know, home's home wherever you're from.
At home.
Wherever I am with my family.
My bedroom, curled up, watching some television, listening to music on my bed.
That's what I usually do.
Do you know that Mr. Johnny Depp is coming down the carpet?
Have you seen him?
I have seen him, yes.
So, you just sort of worked with him, didn't you?
It's been a couple months, but I've, yeah.
He's all tight with him.
We just had James Badge Dale in our studio, who plays your dad in the film.
Yes.
Yes.
There's a lot of guys on this film, a lot of male bonding.
Did you hang out with the boys?
Um, yes, actually, I did.
Like especially Armie Hammer, because me and him were in it a lot together.
What do you guys do when you hang out?
Like, off set.
What do you do?
He would play guitar and I'd just, you know, feel the rhythm and stuff.
The Lone Ranger and Tonto are a fantastic dynamic duo.
Who is a dynamic duo that you admire in film or TV?
I don't know, it's kind of cool watching Heat to see Pacino and DeNiro work work together.
That was pretty cool.
I like Neo and Trinity from The Matrix.
That was kind of a nice combination 'cause they were kind of kissing and cuddling a little bit, and they were also rockstars.
I think Batman and Robin were probably one of my favorite dynamic duos.
They were
Who you playing one of them?
Who are you playing?
You'd have to want to play Batman.
I don't know, growing up it was Mary-Kate and Ashley.
I love them together.
I loved all the adventures that they went on.
I thought they were awesome on on uh Full House.
Actually they they switched parts whenever one of them was like, it's I tiled.
They just switched or something, which I think is pretty awesome.
I uh, I love Jay and Silent Bob.
I love love those guys.
I grew up watching them.
They're hilarious.
Jay's a muse.
I see at Comic-Con every now and then and he is the nicest guy.
You know, I think anytime that Scorsese and DiCaprio does something it's kind of interesting.
Subway is serving sandwiches inside.
What?
Yeah.
So, what is your go-to Subway sandwich?
Um, you know, I go straight for the turkey, all the veggies, you know.
Sometimes I branch out to the meatballs.
Oh, I always have a BLT.
'Cause my parents like own a Subway and I always go there, so I always get a BLT.
Just say that again.
Your parents what?
My parents own a Subway.
I get a 6-inch, nine-grain honey oat.
I love sweet onion chicken teriyaki.
That was my thing.
Turkey with cheese and really nothing else.
Simple.
I'm a simple girl.
Usually get turkey and shredded cheese and I toast that.
And anything spicy in there.
All the chilies, all the chili sauce, all the hot mustard.
And then I get lettuce, tomato.
I like the egg sandwich, you know, the one with the egg whites on it.
All the veggies with the egg whites.
Yeah, like a veggie sub.
Jalapeño and honey mustard.
This is a man that knows what he likes at Subway.
That's right.
Went to Subway the other day and I had a tuna sandwich.
And it was good.
Subway bread, right?
They they cook that stuff.
You smell it for miles.
Oh, their flatbread is great too.
Walking and you're like, I'm hungry.
I didn't even know I was hungry.
They're serving Subway sandwiches in there?
Cassie, laugh.
Here's a question that I've been asking everybody tonight but I'm gonna have to rephrase it for you.
It's either like are you a man of the law or are you a rebel?
I've been asking everybody if you had a I'm gonna give you a scenario, okay?
And you're gonna tell me, you're late for a meeting with Bruckheimer.
You're on the 405.
HOV's wide open.
You're in traffic.
Are you taking the HOV?
Are you like the rebel?
Are you staying in your lane?
If I'm late for Bruckheimer meeting, I'm taking the HOV lane.
Absolutely.
Breaking the law for that one.
He's a rebel here on the carpet.
Bruckheimer, I will break the law for you.
Okay, so tell me because this is The Lone Ranger.
Four things, top four things that you prefer to do alone.
But the top four, uh oh, man.
Eat buffalo wings 'cause they get all over my face.
Oh, clearly.
Crosswords.
Doing nothing is really fun to me.
Patients the card game is great.
Eat.
You don't want anybody bugging you when you eat.
No, when people watch me while I'm eating, I'm like, why are you watching me?
Four, huh?
I'm trying to think of what is actually better to do alone.
I like to read.
Reading is better alone.
Like if there's too many people around, I I can't I can't concentrate.
Watch a Lakers game in my theater with my headphones on, just by myself.
Swim in my pool, which I tend to do with no clothes on.
Bathing.
Maybe.
Watching Honey Boo Boo, obviously.
Sleep.
I like to do interviews alone.
What about you Okay, here you go.
Having So, what brings you to The Lone Ranger premiere?
It's uh the action adventure movie of the summer.
Johnny Depp is in it.
Armie Hammer.
That's great, Evan.
Really, I don't really want to hear anything else from you.
Thank you.
Oh, oh, okay.
Best interview ever.
He doesn't need me.
I'm fired.
