Riverdale's Cole Sprouse Reveals The Best Bughead Moment

Oh, whisper in a little. Oh, what was that? That's called love, baby. And you got to just let it go. Oh, last year at Paley, we were, we were discussing your white t-shirt. It was breathable. Do you remember this?

Right, that, I, that's when I didn't have a stylist. I was just like, all right, white t-shirt. But I did kind of get a hint that this was going to be a bigger Paley Fest this year, so I was like, all right. I guess I got to dress up.

Well, it worked. I like it.

Yeah, so I chose like vintage fifties cowboy or something. I don't, I'm going for it.

Oh, it looks good on you, for sure. So, so many things have happened since we saw you last. What's been your favorite moment or scene so far this season? For Jughead?

Hopping on that motorcycle. I think if I knew Jughead was going to be a leather wearing, moto riding, switchblade wielding Jughead from season one. I would have just jumped off my bed and ran to the casting audition.

You look good on a motorcycle though. It seems pretty effortless, you know?

Yeah, my dad's a big moto rider and I've been riding motos since I was a kid, started doing dirt bike stuff and then I have my own bike. So, it was, it was a pretty easy transition. I'm actually a pretty proficient rider, but legally they're not allowed to let me ride too much. You understand? It's a safety thing.

So, if you could be friends with Jughead, what advice would you give him for what's coming next?

I'd say just relax a little, man. Just relax, man. Be a little bit more like Shaggy. Um, no, I think uh, I think Jughead's got a lot on his plate and he takes his world very seriously. And I think the issues in his world are dangerous, but he's putting himself in a really public position with a lot of, with a lot of enemies that he's made over season two. And he's got a big target on his back. And we see the repercussions for that at the end of the season.

So, as you know too, the young Hollywood fans are obsessed with Bughead. Yeah. Can you tell us your favorite Bughead scene or moment that's already happened?

There's a moment coming up with Betty and Chic and Jughead, which, without revealing too much, is just a really solid sequence. And really intense and really heavy, which I think for season two is my favorite sequence. With the of of the couple. Fair enough. And one that's already happened. I really like in the first episode of season two where they're sitting with the bloody pool in the background and Hops sort of mopping it up, and Jughead is just eating and Betty's staring him like, what the hell are you doing? That was my favorite. That felt, that felt like the intersection between the old Digests and Riverdale perfectly for me. And what's that area where Jughead and how strange he could actually be as a character really came out.
