Hey guys, it is Audrey and I am geeking out in Anaheim California for WonderCon. Or, should I call it Riverdale Con? That is not a Jughead approved outfit. I bet you I can find Jughead wearing this exact jacket. Oh, it is on. Are you ready to meet all those fans over there that hole?

I'm not I'm not. I mean we got a little taste of it before I we got finally got to see you know the fans in the flesh when we were signing our things. So it was it was fun.

Did you think that you would have as much fan frenzy as you have had?

No, I don't think you can prepare for that or expect anything.

Yeah, no, I mean it was one of those things that you kind of hope for for the success of the show but not anywhere as large as it has been.

Yeah, it's amazing. Um, this is new to me, you know. He's been doing this for a while but for me and Cami and KJ and Ashley, this is crazy and weird but amazing. We're happy to be here.

And and Cole, I mean you're old hat at this stuff, right?

As old and jaded.

Any tips for them on how to handle all the fan frenzy?

I mean, I this is something new for me too. It's when I when I was a little baby automaton, it's a completely different experience than now. I I'm doing this under my own accord and it's something new and fresh and it's a brand new show with and it's a comic property nonetheless. So we're dealing with this in a in a truly a brand new way.

Have you imparted any advice on on to the young ins on the Riverdale cast about how to handle the fan frenzy?

Be really nice to everybody. It's very important that you're cool with everybody. I feel like that's a good that's good advice for that. It's easy to do. Everybody's pretty nice. Just you know, be cool. Make sure everybody has a good time.

I'm really excited. So you're going to walk in see a bunch of fans in there. Are you ready?

Yeah. It's really cool to just to meet all the people that really really liked your show, you know, you put it out there and you don't always they're faceless names on the social media. So seeing them up close is great.

I mean for a long time we were kind of just shooting this show and we had a whole lot of fans but we never got to put our stuff out there. So it's good that we can show it now.

And how fun has it been jumping into this universe that's like it I mean there are light moments but it is like so dark.

I mean it's fun because you get to play every kind of you get to have a range of emotions. It's not just like a one-tone kind of show. So you get to explore different, I don't know, your character goes through different situations and I think that keeps it varied and exciting.

My favorite part of this was um the episode where Jughead has that dream sequence and they're all in like the 50s attire and they look just like the comic books. And actually the the way that they looked are my favorite version of the Archie Comics because I like the old old 40s the beginning when Archie was a little unfortunate looking. Um but that I mean aside from the.

Without yes, without the nose.

That's that was my favorite part is seeing them really embody the characters and take it back from wah. Lily, he puts you on blast a little bit when he came into the studio and did this impression of you.

Yeah. Person most likely to get stuck on a desert island. Lily. Oh. Not a doubt in my mind. I feel like she just stumbles she stumbles into situations where she's like, I'm not equipped for this. Um, so yeah, definitely.

Is that your Lily impression? I like it. So I'm going to let you do an impression of Cole.

He does this thing with his face where he's like He goes like that. It's like this really intense like grizzled snarl. Okay. And I remember Like do you know He's not He's coming up to you. I was like don't take offense to this but relax your face.

So impressed by the range of the fans of this show. How how's that been for you? Because Well, I think it's great because the show obviously can get conceived as just a teen drama or a teen melodrama. But these guys have ideas about making the show about the whole town. And they've been pretty successful in that regard thus far because the parents and the other stuff are getting a lot of a lot of love. WonderCon is a con of wonder, I suppose.

That sounds about appropriate. Right? I guess that's what we're celebrating.

Um but also, you know, superheroes factor really really majorly here. If if uh Veronica and if uh Josie could be superheroes, who would they be?

This is tough because I would always say Catwoman but like she's the Pussycat. So like I got to give that to her.

No, you can say it cuz I'm not going to say Catwoman.

Oh. Catwoman. That's right. Boom. Gauntlet thrown.

All right. This is very selfish. Storm. Because I in real life wanted to be storm. I was storm for Halloween three years in a row as a child. Just put this out there. Like, you know, they're gonna rebo I would want Josie to be storm. And then I would also like to be Ironheart.
