What's up guys? Leslie Robbins here for Young Hollywood. Warner Brothers Studio Tour Hollywood and DC Entertainment are revealing their latest star attraction right here on the Warner Brothers lot. It's called DC Universe: The Exhibit. All right. I hear you're the guy, all things Warner Brothers, DC Entertainment, comics, yeah?

That's me, I'm the guy.

You're the guy. You found me. Okay, so this is the newest exhibit on the Warner Brothers lot.

Yeah.

Tell me all about it.

All right, so this is DC Universe: The Exhibit, the greatest superheroes and supervillains. It's something that we kind of revamped to celebrate uh, Batman versus Superman, Suicide Squad coming out in August 2016, and kind of where it all started, our comic books.

So when you heard about this exhibit, you had to be here.

Yeah, but this is the come-uppance. This is the justice of it because when I was a kid, we were made fun of, "Oh, that's kid stuff. What are you reading that trash for?" Well, guess what? The geeks win, we rule the world.

Did you have the Batman and Superman undroos? Like let's get real.

Yeah, I I still got a a pair in my my drawer right now. So uh, I wear 'em from time to time. I still think I'm Batman. I'll be jumping off the uh couches and stuff in my house. Seriously. I'm being dead serious.

Adult size, right?

Yeah, yeah. Adult size for sure.

So if someone said boxers or briefs, you'd say briefs with a little hint of comic book in it?

There you go. Superman number one. Um the reason that this is such a big deal is because it was the first time a superhero had their own standalone title. Superman came from Action Comics, but it was the first time an entire comic line was dedicated to one person. The idea of Superman is really the great American story that you can be from someplace else and still scale the heights. The idea of flying through the air was just I just couldn't imagine it. And then of course that opened the door to Green Lantern and

Now, these are under lock and key, obviously. If they were to go on eBay, what are these bad boys worth?

I'd have to say priceless. I don't even think that there really is a value. I mean, of course there's a value, but like a number value behind it, I I couldn't even begin to tell you. Priceless, absolutely priceless.

So security for this building?

Very tight. We also have the gaming corner. Of course. Some of the biggest things for DC Entertainment and DC Comics are the video games. You know, so we've got Arkham Knight, we've got Injustice: Gods Among Us, and then Lego Batman.

Your favorite, I heard rumor has it, is The Joker.

Yeah. Comic book wise.

Talk about your love of him.

Uh, he's just different, man. And he's a he's swagged out. He's like he's just like one of those guys. He's off the wall. Obviously Jared Leto's gonna be the new Joker coming up.

Who's your favorite Joker of all time on film?

Um, man. I'm gonna say Ledger. Yeah. He did a really good job. So that was kind of hard to top that. So I guess we'll just have to see when this come out.

Now is where we enter the Suicide Squad section. Huge film coming up. Everyone's talking about it. All-star cast.

Exactly. It's one of the most highly anticipated films of 2016. People say that all the time, but it's true.

But it's true.

It really is. Like old school fans are sitting there saying, I've been waiting for this movie for a long time, whereas new people, they have a new storyline to attach to. You know, you might not know Suicide Squad as well as you know Batman, and now it's a new story to experience and kind of go on the ride, you know?

I was kind of thinking about that, is a museum like this a way to bring a new generation into comic books? Because people don't really read comic books anymore. So are these films museums like this, a way to bring up the young people with comics?

I think it absolutely is. And especially with having costumes and props from the film two months before it comes out in theaters, it gives people a chance to come in here, get up close and personal, you know, get inches away from the costumes and love it so much that when you see it in the movie, you're sitting there saying like, I saw that in person. It was really cool. It kind of gives you motivation to go see the movies.

So when Gene Simmons goes to the movies, what does it look like in your chair? What are you eating, drinking? What does the setup look like?

Um, you know, if I really love it, Batman Superman, for instance, versus Superman. I put the drinks and everything down and I just watch. I don't do the in-between thing. I'm I'm in it all the way.
