Young Hollywood

Girl, you look so good sitting there with your long blonde hair. I think you are Young Hollywood. Welcome to Young Hollywood. Shout out. Oh. That's a big first bite. That's a really big first bite. So glad. I'm Oliver Chavini here with Young Hollywood in the Valley where it's extremely hot with these two guys, Kyle Newacheck, Blake Anderson. How are you?

Kyle Newacheck

Great.

Blake Anderson

We're just, uh, hot, like he said, desert rat.

Kyle Newacheck

Yeah. I'm complaining that I'm hot with my head of hair. You don't even want to feel back here, it's just a swamp.

Blake Anderson

It's just a swamp.

Kyle Newacheck

I know. At least, if we need some liquids, I'm sure we could pull it from your head.

Blake Anderson

Bring it out of here, no problem.

Kyle Newacheck

If you need a towel on my my mildewy neck.

Young Hollywood

You guys, Workaholics, the show on Comedy Central. Um, hilarious if you haven't seen it and, uh, you guys actually knew each other before. It's quite an amazing story.

Blake Anderson

That's right.

Kyle Newacheck

It's amazing.

Blake Anderson

It saved me.

Kyle Newacheck

It is amazing.

Blake Anderson

It is amazing.

Kyle Newacheck

Yeah. Uh, yeah. We grew up together in the Bay Area. Uh, outside of San Francisco, Oakland Area.

Blake Anderson

Concord, California.

Kyle Newacheck

Concord, California, East Bay.

Young Hollywood

You you got you guys knew each other and you started this, uh, comedy troop, right?

Blake Anderson

That's right. Yeah. Well, yeah, we were always into filming stuff. We had a hardcore wrestling, hardcore wrestling. Not what you were thinking. We had a public access show back in Concord. Yeah. And this is actually our second TV show. That's how I like to think about it. That was our that was our jump-off point and then we were kind of still filming stuff out here in Los Angeles, like doing Internet sketch comedy and one thing led to another and now we're filming one TV show.

Young Hollywood

So, how did you meet the other two guys? Did you all grow up together?

Kyle Newacheck

Well, we we grew up together and then we moved down to Orange County to go to, um, junior college for a couple half semesters.

Blake Anderson

Community college for a little bit.

Kyle Newacheck

And Adam and Blake met in a improv class.

Blake Anderson

Yeah.

Kyle Newacheck

And that was that sweet beginning and then Adam was also taking classes in, uh, LA for Second City and that's where he met Ders.

Blake Anderson

Right.

Adam DeVine

No. And then we all just, we just had sex with each other.

Anders Holm

Oh, here we go.

Adam DeVine

There's something about

Anders Holm

This is foomin' his taller.

Adam DeVine

This is foomin' his taller. Look at that.

Anders Holm

All right, who's foomed this time?

Adam DeVine

Oh, that's uh all Adam.

Anders Holm

It's weird how unembarrassed I am by that.

Young Hollywood

Here with Adam DeVine. Yeah. And Anders Holm.

Adam DeVine

Yep.

Young Hollywood

This is uh the other two from Workaholics.

Adam DeVine

Yep.

Anders Holm

We're not the other two. I wouldn't say the other two.

Adam DeVine

Yeah, we're the two. They're the other two.

Anders Holm

This is the two.

Adam DeVine

Yeah, this is the two.

Anders Holm

After the other two from Workaholics.

Adam DeVine

Yeah. That that's about. That was pretty good.

Young Hollywood

Okay. Yeah. How is it filming this? It looks very fun.

Adam DeVine

It's fun to do. Yeah. We shot it in this was a house that Blake, Kyle and myself lived in for like three years before we got the show, so it's really cool to see.

Anders Holm

You didn't live here?

Adam DeVine

No, I lived with a lady.

Anders Holm

No, here's a girl that likes him. So.

Adam DeVine

What's up, babes? That right there, that's got all the black stuff around it. That uh was my room. Yeah, that wasn't there. That was my room. Okay. And it's now full of bodies, hence the black cover around it. We We are, uh, we're a butcher shop and TV show.

Anders Holm

Right. So if you need a cut of meat we got your bangers, dude.

Young Hollywood

I'm in. I'm in. I love some bangers. About the show, Workaholics, it's actually not Workaholics, it's the opposite, isn't it? You're kind of slackers.

Adam DeVine

That's Yeah. That's kind of the joke of the name. It's like It's the irony of the situation.

Young Hollywood

So clever how you did that.

Adam DeVine

Yeah. We're we're working and we're alcoholics and it works on so many levels.

Anders Holm

It does.

Young Hollywood

I was just saying to Anders, I saw his rappin' which is pretty good. He's a good rapper.

Adam DeVine

We're very proud of his rapping skills.

Young Hollywood

Did you know this before the episode?

Adam DeVine

Oh, yeah, yeah. He freestyles a lot.

Young Hollywood

Could you freestyle now?

Anders Holm

Freestyle? Yeah.

Young Hollywood

Could I freestyle now? How to freestyle? Do I need to give you a subject?

Anders Holm

Sure, yeah, give me a subject.

Young Hollywood

Bike.

Anders Holm

Bike. And now you give me a beat. All right. Oh, no. The Tour de France is over and my pants are sober, but my shirt is drunk. I'm trying to act like a punk rock fool, but I'm not that cool, so back to you. You can do your interview.

Young Hollywood

I mean, that's good. That was good. Listen. I dead serious, didn't I? I did not expect that to happen. That was really good, yeah. He's rap. Can you give us a quick song to finish up on?

Anders Holm

Uh, yeah. Okay. Give me a topic.

Young Hollywood

Young Hollywood.

Anders Holm

How cliché. Girl, you look so good sitting there with your long blonde hair. I think you are Young Hollywood. Something like that. It's really good.

Adam DeVine

Hey, I'm Adam.

Anders Holm

I'm Anders. And you're watching Young Hollywood.

Adam DeVine

The credits, credits sequence, credits sequence, credits sequence.
