On the Set of "Criminal Minds"

Welcome to Young Hollywood. Hey guys, Tatiana here on the set of criminal minds and today it's my mission to get in the minds of the BAU team. Let's go.

Hi, this is Joe Mantania and I'm hanging out with Young Hollywood on the set of criminal minds here in the behavior analysis unit.

So season 6, you guys are kind of wrapping up now. Tell me about the episode that you're working on right now.

We've done explosive finales. I mean literally, we did a couple of seasons ago we did one that was very explosive. Uh a lot of things blew up. I don't know if it's going to be, uh you know, I haven't read the final script yet.

Where are we right now? I feel like we are in a very busy room.

Yeah, this this is this is really like the core set of this and the jet. And I've actually been a couple of times to Washington D. C. and to the F. B. I. and to Quantico and it's we're pretty close. We're pretty in the ballpark of kind of what what really goes on.

You are receiving a star, being the star that you are on the walk of fame. How does that feel?

For me, it's very humbling and and and I was lucky enough to request that I my star be next to my childhood idol, which was who was Errol Flynn, you know, who you I don't know, you you're too young to maybe know who Errol Flynn is, but he was a great swashbuckling star of of the who did movies in the 30s and 40s.

Have you uh taken care of those files that I gave you to file?

I did and I stole evidence. Thank you very much. It's all she's cleared though. She's cleared for uh for top secret stuff.

So, what's today's episode all about?

Um, I'm finding a bad guy, I think.

Big finale coming up. Do you have any clue what's going to happen?

Uh uh, no. Nobody seems

I do actually. Did you read anything in those files?

Um, I read a lot of stuff. We have to talk later.

Finale? Really? Okay. All right. Not cute. Uh, I hate that. So, it was Rachel's first season. How was it working with her?

We're all um, you know, we're all trying to just be as cool as her but it's not going to happen.

You working? No. So tell me where are we right now? We're in a crazy situation. I feel.

We're in the office. Oh, yes. Yes. Yes, yes. So we are in my office. Exactly.

And where do you sit in this craziness?

I'm up there above everyone.

And why are you up there?

Because nobody else wanted that office apparently.

And because you run.

That's right. I run. Yeah. I said it. I said. It's like that.

He runs it.

I run all this. You know.

This is your first season on the show. How has it been for you?

I've had the best time. It's really it's great when you join a show that you watch yourself, that you enjoy watching. And I had always watched criminal minds anyway.

Talk to me about your character and what your character has gotten into Ashley Siever on this season.

They introduced my character as um, someone whose father was a very famous serial killer. So,

Which is ironic.

Which exactly.

The big finale is coming up. Do you have any clue what's going to happen? Do you have any spoilers for us here Young Hollywood?

We have a read through of the next script at lunch today because we start shooting the final script tomorrow. We'll find out all the juicy details today. Yeah, we'll find out what what happens. Um, I have I have no information thus far, but I'm sure you'll interview someone after lunch that will be able to tell you something better.

Ooh, maybe I'll stick her out. What is going on in your character's life?

In my character's life. Is he as crazy as you? He's less crazy. I thought about that on the drive last night. I was like, this is this is crazier than something Dr. Reed would do. I uh, yeah, I think he's a little bit less crazy and more crazy. He's killed more people than I have. Just a few more. He um, I don't know. Yeah, he's this season's been a rough one. I guess every season's kind of rough for him. I guess that said this one is probably a little bit easier for him.

So, talk to me about onset antics.

There's a lot of practical jokes. We once hired a uh Shamarr's terrified of bears. And one time we were shooting in the woods and he's like, I'm not going to the woods. Bears there. So we we got like a 400 pound grizzly bear. The production paid for it and put it in the woods.

A real one?

Yeah, a real live trained grizzly bear. Just to scare Shamarr.

To scare Shamarr.

And it scared him immensely. It was great. But there's a lot of Zany Zany antics. It's pretty good.

Do you know the mirror game?

I do. We'll play it real quick. You ready?

Yeah.

Do the dumb face too. Wait, why am I tilting my head? You're not tilting your head. I don't know that was good. You're doing good. Are you leading? I don't know. I thought you were. That's how good we are. You couldn't even tell who was leading. Seen.
