I feel very powerful right now. Yeah. Like I could just like give you a

Young Hollywood

Yes, you could. Yes, you could.

Guest

You fail at life. No, but you really don't. Thank you. My gosh.

Rowan

Hey, guys, it's Rowan.

Sabrina Carpenter

And Sabrina. And we're going to give you a tour of the

Rowan

We're going to give you a tour of the set. A tour of the new high school set. Is what we meant to say.

Young Hollywood

Hey, guys, it's Tracy with Young Hollywood. I'm standing here on the set of Girl Meets World and I am super excited because I'm about to get a tour of their new high school set. We are the first people to see this. So let's go check it out. They're like growing up before our eyes. Aww. Just how Boy Meets World started. Now it's Girl Meets World and I mean high school is a scary time though, right? Like

Guest

Yes.

Young Hollywood

Are you guys nervous for

Guest

Let's see. Well, technically I'm almost out of high school in real life. So I've I've gone through the scary part.

Young Hollywood

You've been there you've done that.

Guest

But acting like, you know, it's it's cool to see all of the new storylines that we have for our characters um because you see how much it develops once you get into a new place and how um, you know, places that you're not comfortable with can really change up your life. Shake it up.

Young Hollywood

Okay, class is in session. It's funny. I'm we're reversing roles because I really want to feel what it's like to be Mr. Cory Matthews.

Guest

Well, today you get your chance.

Young Hollywood

I get my chance. This is my dream right here. I mean, did you ever go through anything in high school yourself that was Um, well, let's see. Any advice you could give to people going through that?

Sabrina Carpenter

I'm home schooled. So there was like a big transition from like moving to the kitchen to like the living room or like, you know, my room to downstairs. It's a big transition.

Young Hollywood

That's a very serious transition. I don't know how you handled that.

Sabrina Carpenter

No, I know. I don't know. How did you do it?

Young Hollywood

Just dealt with it. You know, I don't know. But what are some life lessons because that's what the whole show is about. So let's talk about life life lessons. What what would be the number one lesson? Oh gosh. You've learned in life. That just got real like we're in therapy.

Sabrina Carpenter

Okay. The number one lesson I've learned in life I'm not I don't know if I'm ready to disclose that.

Young Hollywood

So, I mean, in real life like going to high school is a scary experience. It's an exciting experience, but it can be, right?

Sabrina Carpenter

Yeah, I went through a little bit of ninth grade, which was my first year in high school. And um, it was a lot. It was just so big. And the work was a lot harder. That's what I remember.

Guest

Yeah, I remember there being a lot more work. The work was a lot harder.

Young Hollywood

You're a tried and true Boy Meets World fan. You know our big lesson from the show is that people change people. That's our big lesson from the show and that was a big theme from last year. And that's based on the people you

Guest

What does that mean?

Young Hollywood

the people you surround yourself with in your life and the people you are closest to they influence who you are, they influence what kind of person you are. So it's up to you to choose who you surround yourself with and hopefully you make the right choices and surround yourself with good people. So we have to talk about the lockers. I don't think you even know which one is your locker yet but if

Sabrina Carpenter

No, we don't. We open these. No, we open these. I feel like there's always going to be like somebody jumping out like the people show

Guest

No, that's what we asked them to take out the middle because we can fit inside like it's very scary. I know when you're in. Okay, I'm out. So.

Young Hollywood

And we'll just continue while Sabrina is in the locker. Thank you so much. That was nice. You let me out. Yeah. What was I like in high school?

Guest

Well, we were shooting Boy Meets World. That's right. When I was in high school. You were growing up. So I was kind of doing Boy Meets World but um as a student, I was a very focused student. I was education was very important to me and uh going to college was very important to me. So, I was I was I really enjoyed learning. I really like to study. What a nerd. But I did. I really did. I shouldn't say that. It's a good thing. It's very important to be focused on your studies.

Young Hollywood

Are you like an all-out girl like you like spend time with like photos and stickers and that kind of stuff.

Sabrina Carpenter

No. I love stickers.

Young Hollywood

She likes stickers.

Sabrina Carpenter

I tried to I tried to like make like a collage when I was younger like like a book full of collages of my life and I like made a page and then I was tired. So I didn't finish it.

Young Hollywood

Suddenly now a small fish in a big pond. Like Oh, very definitely. What's like some topics that you're looking forward to, you know, talking about on the show?

Guest

Yeah, well,

Young Hollywood

Because it's really honest, it's a real look at real life.

Guest

Very um our characters realize that we're not the kings of middle school anymore. We learn that we need to stick together to get through this huge world. Um, and that's just one of the things that we learned. It's kind of like just the whole picture of moving from middle school into high school. It's kind of like a you know, I think everyone is nervous going from eighth grade into ninth grade into a whole new system cuz you're around adults and you're with um

Young Hollywood

I'm sorry. I'm just laughing at cuz Sabrina Sabrina's hanging out over there. I knew it. I had a feeling. And she was so wanting to crash this. I could tell. I had a feeling. I knew it.

Guest

No, but just the whole transition from eighth grade to ninth grade. You're with like grown adults now. Seniors and it's just crazy. It's it's nuts but it's fun.

Young Hollywood

Is Ben like really? I think he Mr. Matthews is he like would if it was real life? Would he be your favorite teacher? Like what about him? Do you love?

Sabrina Carpenter

I think that's hard. I like our art teacher. I love our art teacher.

Guest

Well, it makes sense because the art teacher is a little more creative a little more interesting a little more you know deeper cooler. Right. And I'm like the dad history teacher with the lessons. So I can understand. Did they really say that? No, he's awesome. But um, you know, there are some teachers that come in every couple of weeks and one of them is our art teacher.

Sabrina Carpenter

I was like, I didn't know if you wanted to like.

Guest

Um, one of them is our art teacher and he's really cool as well.

Sabrina Carpenter

Maybe we're just ungrateful now because we've had Cory Matthews for so long. We do.

Young Hollywood

But they still love you. They still love you.

Guest

I'm so cool. I think I'm so cool.

Young Hollywood

You are the coolest teacher in the world. Thank you. Thank you. You really are. Thanks. You guys are like really close, right? As it as a cast you guys are all actually friends.

Sabrina Carpenter

Yeah. No, we actually hate each other. No. Don't ruin it for everyone.

Young Hollywood

And we have to talk about the love triangle with Riley and Maya because everybody wants to know what is going to happen. I know you probably can't tell us everything but can you give us any hints? Any sneak peeks?

Guest

Um, not much I can tell you but um, uh Lucas definitely I do decide. So have to wait to see when, but I do. I pick someone.

Young Hollywood

Is there any like funny stories or who's like the biggest prankster?

Guest

The biggest prankster. Um, I want to say Sabrina.

Young Hollywood

Sabrina. Sabrina is the biggest prankster. I heard Sabrina was the biggest prankster. Is that true or

Sabrina Carpenter

Um, that's a lie. Um, she over exaggerates a lot. We do pranks. We had a prank war in season. I think it was end of season one, but we had a prank war. Um, I started it and then I realized that she over does pranks. So I decided to back out.

Young Hollywood

How does she over do them? Like she really just thinks she can pull it off and you guys already know.

Guest

Well, she pulls it off but she pulls it off so well that it's like there's no point in retaliating with that. It's just she won. I'll give it. She she did win. So, whatever.

Young Hollywood

Who would be most likely to succeed the most? In life.

Guest

Auggie. Auggie. I would say Auggie. I love it. Yeah. Well, cuz he's got so much life ahead of him. I was looking at pictures of him the other day. And I I kind of got teary eyed because I think of him as like my little child and he's getting so big.

Young Hollywood

So you guys are his role models. Right? Oh, he always really wants to be like Ben. Right? And who would you want to have on the show as a guest?

Guest

Well, who I'd want to have on the show would be

Young Hollywood

Who would you want to meet?

Guest

Girl Meets Tracy Bear. Would be my first choice.

Young Hollywood

And here I am.

Guest

Peyton Meets Peyton meets uh Selena Gomez. Oh. That would be awesome. That would be cool name. But who would I really want to have? I mean, if I could pick anyone, but I'd probably pick like Tom Petty or Bob Dylan. But that's just cuz I'm a music guy. That'd be kinda cool. But I don't know if the

Young Hollywood

So Now we know who Ben loves music wise cuz I would.

Guest

And Bruce Springsteen too.

Young Hollywood

Okay. So what do you guys love most about your fans cuz you guys have huge fan bases. I mean, everyone loves the show. Everyone loves you guys. You know, what do you want to like say to your fans or what's been like the craziest experience that you've ever had? With a fan.

Sabrina Carpenter

Oh, crazy experience. I can say that we've been lucky that we um we've gotten to expand our audience. I mean like our live audience every Tuesday night. Um, so it started out with like a hundred. I think now we're at like two two Are we at four or are we at like 250? We could be anywhere. All I know is that it's a lot more. And we're just we're just lucky that we've got the fans to fill those seats and the people that want to come watch our show every week and grow up with us. It's really really we're very thankful for that.

Young Hollywood

I have to grade you on that interview.

Sabrina Carpenter

So, I don't think I did well. There's no chalk for the chalkboard. I was gonna write the grade on the chalkboard. Oh, there we go. There's a little piece. See, there's props but they are real, believe it or not. Oh, there we go. Um, I think you can just get rid of the E and the T and the U and the R and the E. And there we go. A. Okay. Hey, but you know what? Wow. Look at that. What an honor. I'm thrilled. All about the A plus.

Young Hollywood

You guys are going to grow up and have kids. And And Auggie's going to be

Sabrina Carpenter

Yeah. Auggie's gonna be. No, it's true. Well, then no like not that that's like the next. Anyways, I gotta go. It's not a secret. I gotta go. Never mind. This got really awkward. You took off your ring. I did. This is so enigmatical. That would have been such a cute ending. Like, I love you. Like me. I love you. Love you too. Friends right here.
