I said to everyone, when they said I like your boots, I say, I got David Bowie in my boots and Freddie Mercury on my tongue.
How did you come up with that?
I love David Bowie and Freddie Mercury.
What's the nerdiest thing about you in real life? Like, do you have anything about you that's like secretly really geeky?
I knit and I crochet. Does that count?
You knit? Are you serious?
Yeah.
Do you have any crushes? Do you have any girls in the industry?
Uh, no, ma'am. No, I just stay away from that stuff 'cause there's no telling what they're gonna talk to me for, you know?
Oh, yeah. The only one you can because you're on this big show.
Yeah. Yeah, for sure.
Do you have to find a good Texas girl back home? That's right. What's it like working with these two cute little kids? All the cute little kids, actually.
They're fabulous. They are. They're, they're sweet and funny and lovely and hilarious and, you know, they certainly keep us on our toes. Second guest: Vegetarians. We get the job done. Wookie Wookie Wookie wook. It's the sequel of immigrants. We get the job done from Hamilton.
You guys act like siblings in real life?
Yeah. Second guest: Yeah. We are.
Do you ever, do you ever fight like siblings too?
Yeah. Second guest: Yeah. Sometimes.
Yeah. But really you're best friends. Second guest: Yeah.
Did you have to ask that today? I'm kidding. You guys get along, you all hang out like when you're off work. Second guest: We do. It's so lucky and it's wonderful. And we have, but we, we had a really great chemistry right off the bat and, and, and then it really has felt like a family and I feel like that translates on the show, you know, and, and, um, we just, we have a good time.
So what's your favorite part about playing your character?
I feel like Georgie and Missy kind of relate a little bit because they act the same sometimes, you know? Like they talk back to their mother and stuff like that. For Georgie, it is really embarrassing to have a brother that is a lot smarter than him, in the same grade, and basically embarrasses him in front of all his friends and stuff. We didn't have any, not any sometimes major fights. Like, [SOUND] It was like, not any major fights cut to [SOUND] Second guest: It's really nice to be on a big hit. That's for sure. And it's really nice to be part of the Chuck Lorre world. There's little interference. They're very much in charge of the creative lives of their shows. It seems to me. We've just been gob smacked by the reaction we've gotten and, and to and to have, you know, that loyal fan base kind of welcome us into the fold has has been so wonderful.
So what do your friends and your family think about this?
Oh, they think it's really great. They are super proud of me. My family watches it every week and they message me and call me about a million times a day, telling me how good I did, how good I'd, Oh, so annoying.
Yeah, yeah. What's your favorite part about playing your character?
Uh, oh, I love everything about her. I mean, she is pretty much my mother. My mother's no longer uh, with us, but I, I feel sure that she's up there watching and laughing her off.
Aren't we all our mother's really? Yes. What's your favorite part about being on the show?
Everything.
Amazing. Second guest: Everything.
