Amber, you hosted for us before.
I have.
You have. Who's gonna host this? You or me?
I don't know. We can go back and forth. It's your
Okay, let's do it.
Okay, we can do that. Okay. Right now, I'm gonna host the set so I can explain to you guys about it.
Yes. Um, where are we now?
Right now, we're in the attic. So we have the couch and the chair and the little bed thingy back there. Um, this attic is created to give the creepy feel of the ghosts, but also show that, you know, a family lives here. So there's like jerseys and there's toys and everything.
People know you, a lot of people know you from the rap. From the freestyling, from the rap. Are you still doing that? Because other people on the set have been trying to rap today and it's not really worked out.
No, no, no. No, it's not working out for them. No.
Yeah.
Well, for me, um, I do, I still do rap. I'm working on uh four new, uh, singles. Yeah, working on my new album.
Do you ever get stressed out? You seem like you're really stressed all the time.
What? I do? No, I'm kidding. You're like the most relaxed person I think I've ever seen in my entire life.
Mirror is actually the portal to ghost world. They have to film it where they take the glass out.
Oh, is that what they do? I was gonna say, how do they, cuz they do so many crazy things on this set.
They take the glass out and, um, we walk through the mirror. Okay. And then they get a shot of what the mirror actually looks like and they make it look like we're going through the mirror in post-production.
Can you act it out for me because when your head pops off, what do you actually have to do as an actor?
Well.
Can you show me what you have to do?
So first they just do an insert of my face and I have to like do a bunch of faces like, just imagine up to here. I'm like, you know, doing all my faces like, wait, what's going on? Like the eyeballs have to go back and forth and like around and all this. And that's what's emphasized in it and that's what makes it funny, you know. And then after do one where it's just upper body. It's just like, like the headless horseman, you know.
The cobwebs are all created with like this, uh, it looks like a hot glue gun.
Yeah, basically it does, doesn't it?
It does. So pretty much. And they can like come in they're like, we want more cobwebs over here. And then you'll just come and like all these cobwebs.
I mean, you're shooting with an owl today. That didn't freak you out at all cuz the owl is got like freaked me up.
It did. Okay. Especially when her name's Gina and she tried to flap her wings. Yeah. I got scared so I hopped on Chico. I was like, ah, Chico, help me. So.
So the cool thing about being on set is that I get to watch you guys actually doing the scenes and I just realized how hard it was actually be to do that because somebody is reading lines off camera because there's not really supposed to be somebody there. It's gonna be in special, you know, post-production. They'll do it in special effects. And then there's like a whoosh or a sound and someone, you have to like, you have to like hit every single beat.
Yeah, totally. And it's weird because all the sounds that they play in the episode, like the special effect sounds are off stage, but you have to imagine them actually happening like right in front of you or right behind you. You have to know exactly where they are and visualize that and imagine that. It's just the most confusing thing. It's bizarre. It's bizarre. You really have to know what you're doing on this show. I could never do it.
A lot of concentration.
So right now we are obviously in the bakery. Yes. Um, and one of the cool things about the bakery is the food may be tempting, but it is not real. Whenever I bring my friends on set for the first time just to show them around, I'll always like pick up the cake and pretend I'm throwing it in their face. And they get really scared and then they realize it's not real.
Because there's a bakery in the show, favorite cake or pie or is that was that it?
Um, my favorite pie is a Key Lime Pie.
Oh, hello. I love the Key Lime. I love Costco cake cuz Costco cake is very simple. I'm just a guy who just like filling, frosting, caking, done it. Simple tastes.
Yeah. They should give you an an endorsement after that.
What's your name? Favorite cake or pie? Second guest: Pumpkin pie.
That was quick. Yes. Yeah. Yes. You know your pies. Was it, do you prefer the square kind? No. Oh.
I think this is the cheerest room of the entire set. Yeah. I love this because it's really bright and, um, I love the little street. You can see out the door. Yeah. Um, cuz we are supposed to be
It's like we're actually in New Orleans. Even though we're in the middle of Hollywood.
We're in the middle of Hollywood inside. On the set. I just saw the the leaves rustling. I'm like they have fans over here to make it look like
Yeah, to make it look like it's actually outdoors and it's windy.
This feels really good cuz it's really hot out in LA today. Yeah. Are you, I mean it's really hot in LA today. How are you feeling in that?
You know, sometimes like whenever I'm done with the scene, I always have to undo my bow tie, unbutton this and like take off my sweater. It gets hot.
It does, right? Especially with all the lights and stuff. I know you're into fashion. Do you get a say in what you wear? Do you like, get to put your input?
Um, I mean a little bit, but my character is so different from who I am in real life.
From your style?
Um, like my style is like snapbacks and band t-shirts and Taylor, this is actually a Taylor outfit right now. She's like heels and wedges and sandals and she's always got her little tie that's kind of like Taylor's trademark as her tie.
If you could be actually be invisible for a day, what would you do?
I wouldn't be invisible cuz I want people to see this face.
If I could be invisible for one day, I would probably just go places that I'm not supposed to go and like chill out and have nobody bother me about it. Um, and I'd also go and like scare people obviously, because what else would you do? If I was invisible. Oh my gosh. Oh, if I went to like school and like that's probably the first place I would go is to just like mess with mess up the bathrooms and stuff and like when people are like washing their hands, like I would turn on the sink next door and then in the classroom they're doing a test and it's all quiet. I would like shake the room or something. I would, I mean, you know.
Well, if I were invisible for a day, I would go haunt some of my favorite celebrities. Okay. I'd scare them. I'd like
Such as?
Um, Adele.
Nice.
You'd go to England? Yeah. Yeah. Freak Adele out. Mate.
So, we're going to the living room. Um, this is probably personally my favorite set, just because it's so antique feeling and I love the colors. Um, I love the big piano over here, which used to work, but it doesn't anymore because we did an episode where Michelle was banging on the keys and so they had to take the noise out. Um, but there's a couple that work that are actually pretty eerie sounding. this up. Oh yeah. Wait, did you just break that? I don't think so. Maybe I did, I don't know. Oh.
Have you had a ghost encounter? What would actually freak you out or no?
Yeah, for some reason when I first moved out to California, I moved around a lot. Um, and every place I lived in or almost every place, I just had this really weird vibe about them. And I would find like the weirdest things going on. Like this one place I lived in, um, I saw like this figure in my room in the middle of the night. And so I walked out of my room and I saw it like go into the kitchen and I thought it was my brother. So I walked in and I was like, Zack, what are you doing? And nobody was in there. And then all of a sudden all of the cabinets and the door handle moved and they all just like went open really fast. Like in the middle of the night. Okay. And I was freaking out.
Now, I don't have any like certified ghost stories that are like facts. Yeah. Uh, most of them are like, you know, most most of the time when like something like that happens, like when I hear a door close, it's usually the wind because I see a window open. But sometimes I sense
You're a skeptic.
Yeah, I'm very skeptical of that kind of stuff. And the elevator is really creepy. If you I don't know if there's sometimes they store stuff here, but
Oh. They've got our pads probably fall for stunts. There's just store over there. So is it cool having a love interest this season? Cuz isn't there gonna be a love triangle?
Um, yeah. A little bit of a love triangle. And I don't want to give away too much. Um, but it's such an awesome storyline. I had so much fun filming it. Um, but for me, I love the whole scalar thing that's going on this season because there's so many episodes. There's one airing this Saturday and then next Saturday there's another one. And, um, it's just cute to see them together.
The ghosts, they can use their powers to lift up the bookcase. So we pull a book and then this goes up and then we can walk up here, but it only goes to like about here. And then, and then it just ends. It ends.
Is it the Montaniacs or the Montaniacs? I know people say it differently.
Some say Montaniacs and Montaniacs. I usually say Montaniacs just because it's like Montana. Yeah. Montaniacs. But it's also like maniacs. So a lot of people say Montaniacs. So either way, like you're cool. But, um, I usually say Montaniacs. So, yeah, that's our set.
You're a good tour guide.
Thank you.
I don't know who hosted, but you did great.
I think we did this together.
We did. We did. It was a team effort.
Yeah.
