And tell me, how does one come up with a name like Funk Phenomenon?

It came from a song.

Um, a Redman song.

And you heard funk, you heard that and you were like, "I am a funk phenomenon."

That that's how it happened, yeah.

I I like your style.

What's more important to your crew, the money or the title?

We are representing here for respect, you know?

So we have a secret weapons, that's that's the main stuff that we have here.

We have the Ninja.

Wow, very nice.

We have the Gaspy.

And we have the Diva.

Oh, I like the Diva.

I'm totally stealing it.

I don't know if you're familiar with these guys, you should be because they are dominating America's Best Dance Crew this season.

A little bit, I'm not gonna lie, you're my favorite of everybody I've seen on the show.

What's more important to you guys, is it the title of being America's Best Dance Crew or the $100,000?

Right, on us, the the money or the title.

We just want our dance to be respected.

What will you do with $100,000 if you win?

Oh, gosh.

I think we all have our own, uh...

I'm going to Disneyland.

You need 80 for that.

Yeah.

No, I think we have like crew plans for sure, just to keep up our hard work and like to travel around the world.

I think all of us would love the chance to just get to visit new places and perform.

Can I see your best robot before they kick me out of here?

So, how do you guys calm your nerves?

We see that crowd, it just motivates us and we want to do better each time.

Do you have like the, mine is like this.

Do you guys have any like signature moves yourself?

Oh, that's the Iconic Group.

We call this the Iconic Group.

Everybody, we were all just sitting in rehearsal one day and we all just came up with ourselves.

We're all grooving around, we just thought that that we should call it the Iconic Group.

Is it harder to judge these kids that we've got?

We've got, um, the Iconic Boys.

I'm still very careful how I say to them because I know they got bigger brothers.

Uh, no, you know what?

Those kids are brilliant, the kids are great and um, they are in adult competition and they're holding their own.

I feel like I'm in Candyland standing between you guys.

What is your theme tonight?

Um, our theme is kind of futuristic Black Eyed Peas, so it's exciting.

Any super secrets that we're gonna get to see in the future?

Definitely, we have a lot of history.

I have to ask you a question.

I was just interviewing the dancers and I was surprised to find out that they're all terrified of you.

As they should be.

Who's the most intimidating judge?

I think it's to help them, you know, better themselves, hopefully.

I've always been like, "What are you writing down?"

I'm writing just anything I can think of while I'm watching it because it's about that impression that you're getting while you're, you know, essentially digesting a performance.

And I, uh, when you're at a wedding, okay.

What is your favorite dance move on the floor?

You know what, the classic thing to do, the chicken dance.

I don't even know how to do it.

I'm homeschooled, I don't know.
