Great to see you. Oh my gosh, and I when you walked in, I said, could you please reenact that on camera?

I did. Yeah, yeah, but you have to stand up in order to make them see how you look, you know.

I I never saw you before. The only way I'm gonna do that So look what you have on your head.

I know. I'm getting a radio frequency. The only way I will do that and stand up is if you show me a club move at the end.

In a world of young Hollywood, one man interviews. That was great. That was great. When I see the show, I'm just like, it's it blows my mind, sort of the creativity.

When when I came first to to to run and start and and and try to start and and and was very focused on how to prepare the thing, I I I was saying to myself, I have to do the whole job, you know. But basically, what happened was the opposite. When I came, everything was there already. I mean, the creativity of of of the special effect guys, the prosthetic guys, and and the costume guys, and the make-up guys, and just blows your mind. You So, the thing is that you don't come into a process where you think you have to create stuff. You come into a process where things are already alive.

So, you play the Master. You are the Master.

Yes, yes.

How does it feel to be the Master of a show? It's pretty awesome. Isn't it?

Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, it's really cool. I mean, it was a a gift really. I mean, it's just it it was a you know, quite an audition process. It went out to a lot of people. Yeah. There were about three rounds of it. It was hard to tell because it was pretty vague what they were looking for. And then finally, they sent over a clip um from the uh the second episode, "The Box". And uh you got a real It's when the Master sort of comes out of the you know, comes off the ground. Sucks sucks them down. The camera shy. Yeah. The camera shy Master. So you get a real taste of what this what this guy was all about.

Yeah. I mean, you have a juicy character. I mean, you're

I have a juicy character. I was very lucky. I was welcomed, and I had a lot of you questions, preoccupations, uh was very focused on doing a good job as I I'm always uh when when I go into a job. But but here, I was so so overwhelmingly welcomed. It's like I have a very, very strong and profound relationship with all the writers who are co-producers. Whenever I have a question, whenever I have an idea, whenever I have anything, I can call anybody. Carlton Cuse, Guillermo del Toro, Miles Dale, the writers, Beto. So, there is a lot of availability. The whole thing makes you become as creative as they are. So like, Guillermo is like for me, the very example of a guy who who gives you the idea what a human being is able to produce when you let his creativity go wherever it wants to go.

Carlton Cuse, I'm such a huge Lost fan. Did you ever get into that whole world?

Oh, do you Have you ever met a person who haven't seen Lost?

Yes, I have. I mean, very few, but I was just They were in prison.

Probably. Yeah. Probably. No, no. I'm a I'm a huge fan of of Carlton and I I personally, of course, I met him only through this this this this work. I think the combination is is so important for for our for our series. Combination of uh Guillermo and Carlton. For me, I I always take it from my character's point of view. It's in a certain way, it's wonderful. Imagine when you go out in the street and you see all these minions walking around, and you just have to choose. Isn't that incredible?

Well, that could also describe a lot of men in LA. They kind of seem like the same way. Vampires, men in LA, kind of the same thing.

Half vampire, half human. Yeah, yeah, exactly. Or that's Well, that's actually one of the most interesting things about this character is that he's he's half vampire and half human. So, he still has both sides. For the actor I am, it's it's the most interesting thing to to to to play with, you know. Yeah. Combination of both.
