Hey guys, Nikki Novak here for Young Hollywood at San Diego Comic Con. Oh hell yes! I am with the cast of Sharknado 3. No, the fact that this movie started off as a very small television movie, very campy, cheesy science fiction story and has blown up into a Sharknado, there's no end in sight. There were over a billion Twitter impressions from Sharknado 2. A billion? The anticipation is so great for this one, not just here in the United States, but globally that it should break even more records. How is this gonna be a fresh take on, you know, the first two?

It's much bigger. You know, before we we did LA and then we did New York, and now we're going the whole as you would say. Go ahead. Second guest: We're taking it out of this world. There's so many tidbits in this movie. Yeah. Um, April Wexler now. April Shepherd now. She lost her hand in Sharknado 2.

You did. You did. Second guest: So she's come back with a prosthetic hand that is really akin to a Go-Go Gadget arm. Bionic. I mean you could do anything with this. It's not just a, you know, a saw. You can unplug it and it becomes all kinds of stuff. She's got a lot of attachments, so.

Wait, could you give me like a manicure? Do you have a nail file in there? Second guest: No, we cover but she still wears her her wedding ring on top of

So you had to give her get her a pretty big rock to cover that. Second guest: She always had gave me the big rock. We uh, pulled the wedding ring out of the uh shark's mouth in Sharknado 2. And uh, put it back on her hand.

You're like the Luke Skywalker of Sharknado. I love it. So you guys, so David Hasselhoff said that he saw the first one and it was the worst movie he ever saw. Did you hear this? I think he said this in an interview. Second guest: He said it in a good way though. Like it's just so campy, so over the top.

I want to know your worst movie you ever saw. What was that M Night Shyamalan movie that came out? I couldn't tell if it was supposed to be funny or not. That's like we know Sharknado is supposed to be funny. Second guest: I know, I know what you mean. Do you know that movie?

Yeah. Second guest: Well, the Will Ferrell movie that was just on Lifetime.

How about the best movie you ever saw?

Shawshank Redemption. Second guest: I love Basketball Diaries cuz I'm just a really big DiCaprio fan.

Forrest Gump. You know, the the movies that are sentimental that move me are movies that I I remember. Second guest: Yeah. I'd say The Notebook but that's just so cliche.

Listen, I like Titanic. Are you kidding me? Great movie.

Um, because we're talking about sharks, I want to know each of your spirit animal. Do you have a spirit animal? Second guest: Um, well, I guess mine would be a rabbit.

Why? Why? Second guest: Come on, think about it.

Nice work, Tara. I was like, hm. Third guest: Oh. I don't know if it's my spirit animal, but if I could be an animal, I'd want to be a bird because all I ever wanted to do is fly.

I've been asked this before and I actually gave it some thought and I think maybe a lion. Just because I look at my family as my pride and what I need to take care of and will do anything I need to do to make sure that they're taken care of and safe. Second guest: He's actually really protective. That's I can definitely say that. And on set too. And with everyone. Yeah, too. He's amazing. I he's my like every time I need like or something's up, I go to him for everything. She was just saying that.

I think I have a superhero gene that like if my friends or my family are in jeopardy or threatened in any way, even if it's just walking down the street and something's wrong, like I'll get in the way just because I won't stand for any. Second guest: He has a natural instinct. Third guest: Sharknado is actually one of the most challenging, well playing Nova, I should say has been one of the most challenging roles I've ever taken on because, I mean it sounds silly, but you're you're looking at little like neon stickers and you're being told to imagine the most absurd things. Very unrelatable. I've never personally seen a sharknado. So it's you know, it's a little challenging. You have to really use, I mean, maybe you know.

You need to get out a little more. Third guest: I know. I've been living under a rock apparently. But you know, so it's it is a little bit challenging. But as for fun, I I think that day just how crazy it was something that I and I had to do within the trailer in like we had to go in the lake and like in our underwear. The craziness of it still makes me laugh. It was then all of a sudden my underwear, they were worried Universal was going to be upset about it. So I'm like in a park with towels around me. People are like guarding me. I'm like changing underwear in the middle of Universal. It was so for me that was like the fun probably the funniest. Second guest: Those were no granny panties. Third guest: They're not. Those are called skimpies. Second guest: Whatever. Like a pirate's eye patch more like it. Whatever.

Okay, I want to play a really quick game with you guys called hell yes or hell no. And I'm gonna give you topics. We're gonna go down the line. Are you ready?

I'll start with Finn. Come on. Reality TV. Hell yes or hell no? Watching reality TV.

Hell yes. That's a tough one. There's a A and B answer to that. Go ahead. What do you think? Guilty pleasure. Okay. Some of them. Some of them. Well, you know, train wreck TV where brings out the worst in people. I'm not a big fan of, but like competitive reality shows like Dancing with the Stars and things like that where it's a for you. I like that, you know, it's entertaining.

It is entertaining. Okay. Amusement parks, roller coasters. You're on a roller coaster.

Oh, hell yeah. Second guest: I love roller coasters. Third guest: Hell yes.

Hell yeah. Second guest: Yes.

Zoos.

Oh, I didn't write that one. I got two girls. I'm in the zoos all the time. We're going to go to the San Diego Zoo in a day or two.

Okay. Selfies. Second guest: Oh, hell yes. I'm sorry. I am a huge selfie. Third guest: I'm bad at selfies cuz I can't take the picture. Short arms.

And last but not least, spray tans. Hell yes or hell no? Third guest: Oh, hell no.

Hell no cuz I get different colored. I look like I have a disease. Second guest: Oh, hell yeah. I mean, I don't sit in the sun much, but there's some great product out there and just to get a little glow. Yeah, I've done that. I was working with the Chippendales. I was like spray tanning every other day. And then Dancing with the Stars they spray tan. You gotta get the good stuff though. I'll turn you on. I'll tell you. I'll tell you what.

Oh, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Second guest: Oh, I could, I'm the master.

It's a bigger, better movie. It's tons of fun. We're taking it out of this world this time.
