Young Hollywood

Oh. I'm getting a love from Daniel Jackson. Do you know that you did this to me last year? I was dressed as, oh my gosh, what was I dressed as? I don't remember now. I had so many costumes. Batman, maybe? You always give me the love.

Samuel L. Jackson

What was the green and yellow thing you had on? That's the dope one.

Young Hollywood

How do you remember that? Are you pretending, are you acting with me now?

Samuel L. Jackson

No. Great to see you. got a DM from you, didn't I? Said you were going to be up in here.

Young Hollywood

See? That's right. I always DM my wife. We DM each other. That's what we do. That's like a thing that people do now, honestly, because if you meet somebody and you don't get their number, you can always DM them.

Samuel L. Jackson

I'm not down with everybody like that. You know. We just follow. Everybody can't DM me. Not everybody.

Young Hollywood

But we can. I can. Really? Really? How about that? So you have a protege in this film. A young protege. I know you've been acting since you were young. What would you tell your young self as advice?

Colin Firth

I don't have an awful lot of wisdom, uh, really. I I think there's something about just, whenever you catch yourself taking it too seriously, you might be in trouble.

Young Hollywood

How do you, um, with this film and sort of with every film that you do, make it a fresh take every time?

Samuel L. Jackson

Um, I find something about the character that, you know, presents a challenge to me that I haven't had before, um, that makes me feel like I'm getting up every day to do something that's different and fun and exciting, and uh, it generally works out for me.

Young Hollywood

Yeah, it's kind of working out for you. Yeah, you're doing okay. Yeah, it's not bad. So now that you are an action hero, how did you, you're going to get the question now, about how did you eat fresh and get in shape for this role?

Colin Firth

Well, um, I didn't they had me working so hard that I I didn't really have to worry too much about diet. I mean, you know, I was in the end I I was actually having to for the first time do that counterintuitive thing of looking for extra calories. And uh, but usually not hard to do.

Young Hollywood

No, that was that was definitely the easy part of it.

Colin Firth

No, I mean, just the first month was just trying to get bits of me moving that hadn't really ever moved.

Young Hollywood

So because this is a film about espionage, if you could spy on anybody for 24 hours, who would you spy on?

Colin Firth

I don't know that I want to invade anybody's space like that.

Young Hollywood

Really? Yeah. You're you're kind that way?

Colin Firth

It's not kind, it's just that I'm not that interested. My life is my life is interesting enough. I think we're too into our voyeurism and exhibitionism right now. I think we should start switching off our webcams and devices and stop taking pictures and just look at what's in front of you. So I wouldn't be spying on anybody.

Young Hollywood

So we're not going to see you on Twitter anytime soon.

Colin Firth

No, you are not.
