Hi, how are you? Last time I interviewed you was at the Young Hollywood studio. We talked about hamglazing.
Yeah, I remember we were on that couch, right? And I think I may I think I mentioned something about Kellen Lutz.
Are we going to sport the hat? I feel like Kellen Lutz. You did it. You wore the hat.
My gosh, you have a grave memory. I remember that. It's your superpower. That's the ability to remember a Kellen Lutz reference.
So I'm asking everybody here, um, this is the Age of Ultron. Other than the age you are now, what was sort of your favorite age? In your life?
Um, I really don't know. You know, 19 was pretty fun, I think. I think 19 was kind of 18, 19 was really good because you're in college. But then again, you know, seven might have been really good too.
Okay. Before your hamglazing days.
Yeah, I I know it wasn't in my hamglazing days. That didn't that that job alone knocked that age out of the running.
You look so dashing.
Well, so do you. You were one of my, the first time I ever saw you and I thought, what an incredible voice. Now, if you'll excuse me, I have to go do some shopping for revenge.
I've seen maybe 30 minutes so far of various sequences and it looks quite clever. And have you ever had a better character name than Dr. Octavius Brian? You've had so many fabulous character names.
I wouldn't have thought so. No.
Going into season 10, how's this going to be a fresh take on any other season we've seen before?
Wow, it's a mean, we start with Booth in prison and I'm trying to get him out, and everybody, everybody's trying to get him out from the squints to sweets. His life is in danger. Uh, we're trying to get him out. Um, the conspiracy is even bigger than we realize and there's lots of twists and turns and it's big.
If you were going to attend a panel here at Comic-Con, either movie or TV show, what would you attend?
I don't know. I was excited I got to see a dog driving a motorcycle today. So that to me was like the best thing ever. Um,
Season 10. Can you name 10 superheroes?
Ten superheroes. Wonder Woman, Captain America, Superman, Spider-Man, Batman. Oh, there's ten. I was like, I don't know. Is there somebody with ice? Iceman? Brain man.
Yes. When you come to Comic-Con, you know, when you do what what voice over people do, it's it's kind of an anonymous job and that's part of what we like about it, you know. And then you come here and the universe gets flipped where everybody knows everything you do and not only do they care, they care a lot. Yeah, it's it's fun to go, wow, it's it's kind of fun to be a little bit of a movie star for a couple of days. I don't know if I'd want to do it all the time. It's it's really hard. Second guest: I think it's the best of both worlds because most movies they don't want they want the anonymity at the end of the day. They want
That's right. You have the best life ever. That's right. When my kids, when my kids were little, they go, daddy, are you famous? You know, are you famous? My friends say you're famous and I go, no, I'm not famous. The drawing is famous. I'm the voice of a very famous drawing.
I've been scoping your Twitter. Oh, you have. I've been scoping your Twitter. Um, I followed you. You're almost at a million. So I helped the cause.
Did you? I don't have my phone on me. I I tried as I was coming here yesterday and I was really bored and I had wifi on my plane. So I started tweeting out to people, which I almost never do. I know. I got to talk about it. It's awesome. And then and then and then I and then I said I'm trying to get to a million followers and then I woke up this morning and I had less followers. And I was like, that didn't that didn't work exactly how I'd hoped.
That happens to me where I've tweeted and I'm like, what was what offended you about that that I lost followers? Um, so somebody here, security guard thought you were Zachary Pinto.
Yeah, this morning. It was like my that's how I started my day. We rolled up to the first press event and there was somebody blocking the way and the driver was like, I have uh talent here. And he's like, oh, who is it? And he's like Zachary Quinto. And he's like, oh, I have Zachary Pinto.
So, Hitman Agent 47, how is it a fresh take on the original?
Um, I mean, look, it's the scope and the scale of this film visually is really exciting. Uh, the cinematography, the direction, the action. Uh, we shot two-thirds of this movie in Berlin, an amazing city that I had been to many times. I was thrilled to get the chance to go back and work there.
Last but not least, if you could put a hit on any character you've played ever, who would you put a hit on? Uh, I have my choice for me. What is it? You tell me first and I'll tell you what instinct.
Dr. Thredson.
Oh, you'd put a hit on Dr. Thredson. Oh, I thought you meant like on I put a hit on the character that I wish I hadn't played. Not on not on put a hit on the character.
That would have to be it would be a toss-up between uh I'm not even going to say because then people are going to go watch it on YouTube, it's going to perpetuate the life of these characters. So, we'll just say Dr. Thredson.
Now follow Zachary Pinto, I mean Quinto, on Twitter. Let's get him to a million people. Let's get him to a million, man. Come on, I'm like 20,000 away. It's Comic-Con exactly. If I can't do it here, where can I do it?
