I would love to. Okay, let's go. Four pairs of tights that I have to put on. Beautiful shoes. And this is their version of Louboutin. The attention to detail. And then my dancing shoes are pink sparkle. Beautiful and elegant. And then I've got like a raincoat. Um, you know, a sensible. So it's a little leather, light leather raincoat. Yeah. drab hospital gown. But giving birth to Matilda. But with these, because always give birth with sparkle shoes. Today's lesson.

This is your Broadway debut.

I knew about the show from London. I knew I wanted to play this part. I was like, no one else can play this. So I flew myself out to New York and just auditioned a bunch of times and ended up getting it, which was the like dream come true.

Four different girls play four different girls. How does that work?

They rotate. They do two shows a week and then they stand by. We are children. We're revolting children. We sing the revolting songs. We sing the revolting songs. So, I get this beautiful makeup for Mrs. Wormwood. And the whole thing about Mrs. Wormwood is that she is loud. My song is called Loud. She is loud. My song Loud is actually like this commentary on uh, society and even the entertainment industry about you don't have to know what you're talking about as long as it's loud. Um, so that's Mrs. Wormwood. She just is all about looks. Looks, not books. I think the message is so great about the show about um, being yourself and not succumbing to the pressure of of people or things around you. Um, we have a lot of schools coming here, which is great and um, I just think that message is so strong about staying true to yourself and doing what's right. Also, what I like to talk about like on social media is being you and it's okay to be different. It's okay to be weird, because I'm weird. I've actually put on eyelashes without a mirror before. What? And it's been okay. That's the life of an actor. We just had our 900th performance. Everything is so immediate. The reaction is immediate. So, I think that's what keeps it fresh is every audience is different. The show, I think is visually like nothing else. Honestly. Stunning. It's stunning. The lighting, the sets, everything. And I love at the end of the show, we come out for our bows and I will see adults weeping, weeping. And I love it, because it just, you know, it gets to everybody. Um, and that's the special thing about it is it's not a kids' show. It's for everybody. That's the other huge theme of this show is is these parents bully her and I feel like now especially with social media and just kids getting bullied so much now. I feel like it's such a strong message of anti-bullying about somebody who's standing up to the thing it's not right. I get so many kids on Twitter asking me how to deal with it. You can stand up for yourself and you don't have to be bullied. She puts my wig on and we get it done in a half hour, because it takes a while. Get it, we'll make sure the microphone is. You're transformed. Transformed. Yes. A beautiful blonde. I'll warm up like this and then I'll get my uh, tights on and and the costume and baby bump and then we go. And then it's it's showtime. But yeah, this is a typical morning. This is this is it. If I have to do a show after this, sometimes if I have to do like a cabaret show after this,

After this, mean after the show, which is almost three hours, you go and do your cabaret show.

Yeah. And I have like amazing people that help me do this. I just have to sit here. Showtime. Showtime. Now I gotta get dressed. I can't feel the in the thing. I don't need to be alive. I have to. Done.
